Zoros please read the post I was responding to. I know when the re-balance is due. The question I was responding to was "anyone recall what happened on "magic friday" some time ago?" posted by Luckytrader321 at 19:01.
SAS - GDXJ rebalance not due until December.
Schlem - great news to have you back - now we'll hear news about GGP before it's written!
(You're not going to get all emotional on us again are you ;))
Doggy, great to see your 700k top up....a man who puts his money where his mouth is.
Good luck with your investment.
The catalyst for your Dec/Jan premonition could be the Dec 9th news maybe?
Or something even sooner looking at todays closing price???
Z
yes that was an interesting day. good times lol........
GDXJ Buy In
It went from 20p to 27p then back to 21p ish
I remember it well
It was 27p
anyone recall what happened on "magic friday" some time ago? if i recall correctly the price paid by a professional fund was 20p and that was BEFORE all the subsequent finds. that is why i think this share is well undervalued. It may have even ben 25p. for obvious reasons this is IMO.
A great recovery after last weeks dip. In fact it is surplus to what I was expecting.
Maybe something other than 12 inches........is afoot?
SD does like to keep the troops informed....so could there be news in them thar hills?
Z
Thanks Zoros - appreciate that, and as I said there's lots you said that i agree with. As an admitted optimist on this share, I think where my pov may differ a bit to some others is the potential impact of positive momentum and the narrative coming from GGP, and in particular SD, as we move towards the hard fact based 'solidifying' events. When a growth focused company has a story, and it's being told well, the SP can grow ahead of the firm news - as people want to get in whilst it's relatively cheap even if there is a bit more risk involved. Anyway, a nice day today and hopefully we can keep chugging for a bit!
Matty56 - I don't consider you a newbie! I enjoy your posts.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and all that but let's agree that this stock has found its sustained level at around 15p. If GGP was the only interested party, then we would be sitting @ 60p+.
It hasn't helped being a part of such an enthusiastic passionate board of followers who (for obvious reasons) desperately want the SP to be a lot higher. Overall - on this board, the flow is strongly in favour of ramping remarks, the place is littered with these comments. Woe betide anyone who makes a derogatory remark against GGP. It is the nature of the 'beast'
But the fundamentals remain:
3,400,000 ozAuEq in the ground.
1,020,000 belongs to GGP.
981,000ozAuEq remains after (10%+) wastage, during the recovery process.
An aisc of approx $700 and PoG $1800 makes this GGP resource currently worth: 1.08Bn dollars.
£788,000,000 after converting to GBP..
4.2Bn shares makes each share worth: 18p. (@PoG: $1800)
Then there is tax etc.
This is why we are - where we are.
I have yet to see any other calculation that proves the SP is undervalued.
I too, want the SP to be 30p+. It will - but not now and not for the foreseeable future (which for me will be around about the DFS period). This is what I am basing my investment plan on. ANY profits above this will be icing on the cake for me.
regards
Z
Hi All
Just got in , looking good at the moment!
Hopefully 16p finish (always half full me)
Anyway good luck all and why has hydro been banned?
Even holding on to half of them would be good
Hanging onto gains today?
He always comes out after the event , to say its going to be in the range of 14/17p is what it has been for a while , anyone could say that
Zoros - I agree with much of what you say but not all - so unfortunately that puts me into the naive/ignorant camp as you define it...Anyway, based on your assessment are you saying your view is: SP in 14-17p range until new news is made public on 8th Dec which will lead to a favourable effect (+17p?), Then from whatever level it gets to it will retrace back to 14-17p, before the new MRE expected February which once published will take the SP to the brokers numbers at least? Let's see!
I'm still seeing ludicrous estimates for the SP for the end of 2021....20p, 25p etc.
I'm hoping it's coming from newbies on here who haven't done ANY research.
Many of us have been active on this forum for a long long time...long enough to get to grips with how a junior explorer/miner (call them what you want) behaves from a 'market' perspective.
If you are a punter.......you are forgiven, you are in it for a quick gamble and then you're off elsehwere on AIM etc. Good luck to you and your naive comments are accepted...
but if you are an 'investor' then please try at least to understand what happens with minnows like GGP in the mining sector atleast. Bigging up the SP simply because it is 'time' or because the SP has been shorted or manipulated for too long....simply shows your ignorance.
The sooner we all accept that GGP is where it is today because of what it has 'proven up' to date....the sooner all our anxieties can be kept in check.
I say again. the following are the main reasons for an SP rise (supported by the likes of Steve Todoruk and Willem Middelkoop, to name a few):
A good PFS.
A strong MRE
News of a JV or bid.
Production starting.
The odd ball (where the SP moves without logic) is: sentiment in the market. This is difficult to determine (how/when/why).
News such as:
good assays.
Discovery elsewhere.
Good gold prices.
New CEO.
Might cause the SP to spike but it will then retrace shortly thereafter.
At the end of the day an MRE(inferred) followed by an MRE(indicated has provided us with a stable(ish) SP of between 14p - 17p. That is what the markets have afforded this stock based on what has been formally reported via JORC.
Brokers are estimating future SP's based on what they have gleaned from the company plans and forecasts. Brokers are not everyone's cup of tea...some on here hate them but it is a FACT that they know more than 99.9% of us and so their estimates should not be cast to one side.
Between now and 2022 we are expecting up to 24 assay results, an NCM interim report and a GGP exploration update. IMO, all of this will be revealed on the 9th Dec 2021.
It is my opinion that it will have a favourable effect with the market and the SP may even rise on the back of it. It will then quiesce until the biggy:
MRE(2)(Inferred) for extended SE Crescent and breccia / N. breccia zone.
Which is expected in Q1/22.
I am expecting very strong news then.
