Another 25% rise for GFIN already again today, to 15. By increasing his holding last week from 12% to 20.7% Robert Keith is clearly piquing the interest of quite a few people re a possible MBO, bid or just that he likes what he's been buying since 5p+. The fact that he's one of the investors behind Eidos / Lara Croft and sold his business, Fast Search & Transfer, to Microsoft for $1.2bn makes him & by association GFIN one to watch closely in the coming weeks....
Good luck, Brighty
There is a slippery path here for sure - The GFIN management team have hardly got much right this last few years.
And what a position for the new leadership team to find in front of them....
They can simply do a private placement to themselves if all is growing successfully and they can see profitability at a discount of there choosing or - I guess they can ask investors for funds if all going belly up...
What a wonderful position to be in?
RoyGa makes a good point. This is all smoke at the moment. Nothing substantial in numbers. Management has screwed the PI multiple times. Just be careful and DYOR. I wouldn't be suprised if they come back for more discounted shares in the future. Need solid objective numbers to back it up
36.84% up in to the close. No 1 Top riser today. Could be an interesting few weeks coming up...
Good luck, Brighty
Great volume today
It can potentially break through .3p by next week. Zak Mir already projected it to reach .2p
Be careful if you want to buy more, as BoD have in past issued new discounted shares to family and friends only, offer was not opened to all shareholders so they lost out .History might repeat
He must know something we don't YET!
Difficult to buy; goes to NT. Bought after several try.
I would buy more but you cannot even get a quote for £500 at 0.125!!
Gordenbennnet1. He can have mine too @that price. But why would he buy at .3 while he can buy in the market @ under .15?
Take it private and then in 3 years or so re-list it at a much higher price ....when investors can cash out some gains
"Well at present he hasn’t got any where near enough to take it private"
He doesnt need "enough" .....they just need a shareholder meeting to vote on it , which he could propose using his voting rights .....keep the shareholders but leave AIM if enough holders vote for it ..then become a private (off market) public company
Well at present he hasn’t got any where near enough to take it private so he better sharpen his pencil. Can have mine at .3
He invested in Mporium Group which showed promise, but they went bust and fell into administration and left AIM too
This is like what Robert Keith did with Blur Group, which became Maestro .... Blur Group had a lot of problems, Keith invested in it and it eventually it went private leaving AIM
I wouldn't be surprised if Keith wants to take this private too
He was a Director at Eidos at one point and invested heavily in Silence Therapeutics which also left AIM back in 2021 ( Nasdaq now)
He owns Charles Street International(private) which has £20m of assets
Interesting he nearly doubled down! That’s confidence! Reckon we will see .16 today
Blimey that’s someone with real credibility then. No wonder this is moving. Thanks for outlining! Should be a very good day and great next week. That’s a big vote of confidence
Robert Keith, for those that don't know, is the investor behind Eidos / Lara Croft. He is a serious investor and one to watch having sold his business, Fast Search & Transfer, to Microsoft for $1.2bn. By upping his holding in GFIN today from 12% to 20.7% is no doubt raising quite a few eyes in the City re a possible MBO or bid at a bargain basement price . Fascinating to see how this pans out...
Good luck, Brighty
What we do know from the holdings / TR1's is that Charles Street / Robert Keith have been investing in GFIN since at least May 2021 - so not just a recent attempt to buy in cheap - as the share price when he started acquiring the holdings in GFIN was over 5p. Even with his recent buying at much lower prices taking his holding to over 20% today it would appear that the current average price Charles Street / Robert Keith paid is going to be somewhere over 1p a share, which is x8 of the current share price. Interesting....
Good luck, Brighty
25% up today already....
Good luck, Brighty
I think at this price it may well be a multi bagger. We shall see
Is it a case of follow the money?
Very interesting news today: Robert Keith increases his holding in GFIN to 20.7% from 12%....
Good luck, Brighty
In the top 4 risers on the leaderboaoard now.....great to see this rise and PYC is gonna move big today .....just won contract have a look ...RNS just released....great day so far
