Natham89 - Don't you feel even a little bit embarrassed with your inaccurate predictions? You've been predicting 114 all week now and it hasn't come close.
Nice one mcbride.... the word is getting out... POC will be a company changing piece of kit.

If I could only get them into an isa before the price shoots I’d probably be very happy but I already converted all my existing isa shares into GDR... If my other GDR shares continue to rise , I’ll move them ASAP come April 5th for sure!
On a day when the wider market is drifting its great to see GDR holding firm... we know the potential here so does the market... My £3 prediction is still intact and with a barrel load of news due in the days ahead its never been a better or more exciting time to be in GDR.
DB is ready to blow the bloody doors off... and as for takeover talk it can never be ruled out and is very possible indeed.. lets hope we can get a good price well north of £3 if DB does go down that road.
Trade within an ISA you dont need to tell anyone!
Simple answer is..... it depends.
Could be an all cash offer, in which case shareholders get bought out or could be an all share offer where shareholders move to owning shares in the acquirer at an agreed conversion rate. Could also be a combo of the two...
Lol @ jayhayes
Simple dont tell anyone about CGT :)
Natham you dont give up do you!!! Give me a G, Give me a D Give an R, GDR Go Natham, go Natham!!!!!
GDR's N01 Cheer Leader!!!!
Or dwindle down to next support level of 114p and test that
Can someone clarify the position that if a big company takes over a smaller company ( with shares valued at £1) over, ( say for £5 each) do the shareholders have to just sell out, in which case there could be huge CGT implications, or are they also given the option to have the new value of the shares invested in the bigger company, therefore avoiding capital gains made by the small company until such time as they choose to top slice or sell? Not been in a position where this could happen, so I’m curious. #asking for a friend :)
SP really stuck just under £1.30. Hopefully it can break through soon and start moving.
Hi BigAl,
Oh I never said takeover talk was without substance it's the post where one guy has shown stages of the rise as stages of the takeover behind the scenes and that is just speculative nonsense IMHO
It makes absolute sense for BC/Danaher to buy GDR as pretty soon GDR will be the middle man taking a chunk of the profits. Danaher own manufacture and distribution so they need to buy GDR to get the kit ingredients section of the whole process.
Pretty soon the size of the deal should start dawning on the market and true value coming through so the question is how long do Danaher/BC allow this to go on for as the longer the time the higher the offer will have to be ?
I agree nothing concrete about the takeover yet. We won't hear anything until its done....IF it gets done. Makes total sense for Danaher Corp to buy Genedrive given their growth strategy to buy small to medium companies that provide revenue growth. Genedrive certainly falls into that bracket with our sales starting and with the pipeline we have. Our POC assay will be of particular interest to them as the devices can run other assays for revenue after covid
ihavenoclue, we all have our targets for one reason or another. I try to be realistic. I'm in GDR for the long term story but I have a top slice target for some of my holding for my own personal reasons and requirements. If we reach your dizzy heights, and yeah I'm fully aware of the ncyt story, then I will be very pleased as I will still be holding about 70% of what I hold today.
19thHole ... you have identified the issue. Well done. Next stage is stopping yourself from doing it. Have faith you can do it :)
Ihavenoclue, agreed it’s painful trying to explain sometimes to people. Anyway even a couple hundred million contract soon would make the rocket begin
Hi Ihavenaclue,
I agree this Takeover Talk on GDR Twitter has No Substance.
However, it does make sense for DHR to Takeover GDR, especially as the Collaboration went well, and we have now entered into the Distribution Agreement !!
AGBT 2021 will have been a Great Place to 'Kick Off Sales' !! - And a Great Place to Poll Interest !!
DHR own BC and Cytiva - Why Not Buy GDR ??
I would prefer we stand alone for at least the Rest of this Year, - But ?????

And some are keyboard warriors that just post derogatory remarks about others and their opinions.
Longshot, don't even need figures that large to be £10 a share but I 100% agree with your post.
Some just see a number and a SP action and think "not possible" .... others do the working out and see it is very possible
Jacgeorge please remember ncyt got a 150 million contact and over that year went from under a pound to 12. If we get the sales news as expected it could be well over a billion based on 150/200 million tests imagine where the sp would be then. Your very short sighted at £5 don’t get me wrong it is
400% from here but it’s a long journey and the patient win
BigAl, That "Twitter talk" is a guy with a crayon and a very active imagination
@jay - They have few holders above 3%, and they all would be happy to take 2 or 3 bags on current price.
Employees/Directors would be happy to move over to a bigger company and more pay.
At the end of the day they have to present the offer to shareholders, company insiders don't own much of the stock to decide on anything.
would normally take couple of months.
Jaceorge, why not try using a calculator before posting ?
