Jones Richard..so undervalued at present. Covid not going away and it was clear from last October that DB knew exactly how this was going to play out. GDR working behind the scenes to ensure they are at the forefront in the end. They are searching for the very best in testing as they know it's the only way out for all of us. Rapid and more importantly accurate testing which will detect which variant the carrier has...
Exciting times ahead :)
I am convinced that Danaher will one day take us out. Not only is it their style but we would fit into their prifile beautifully. They make our covid product and they sell it so buying us to ensure future development would complete the picture. Things like AIHL would be additional benefits for them..
I guess the only questions are when and how much.
I suppose if they had wanted to of bought genedrive they would of by now?
Big Oil and Big Pharma tend to gobble up little firms and their products ,and yes small mcap may have been attractive but at what price "could" they have got us for in the recent malaise ?
Morning Mr. P.... I'm surprised we haven't been snapped up already especially when we dipped Into the 40's a few months back. Plenty near & longer term upside here from this price.
Why are they back on the acquisition trail?
I don't doubt that we are in their sights and l would not be surprised if we get bought by Christmas. What have you seen that makes you think that they are buying again?
Danaher Corp seems to be back on Acquisition trail.
GDR would be the obvious target here....
How much undervalued right now in everyone's opinion? £3-£5 + undervalued at some point in the future possible? NCYTesqe potential? that rose x 68 in only a few months.
I am pleased about this morning's RNS. I am sure we'll get some UK orders. GDR is going to make some serious money for all of us with the tiny mcap here.
Ha ha,
Those draws are off limits unfortunately ....
and i wouldn't want to be accused of something else ;)

Furion...check the wife's Knicker draw!
Ok raided a piggy bank looked behind sofas, ash tray in car have £2k just seeing if there is a dip get most value for my pocket money...
GLA
True guy.... but the potential is there for big gains and from where I'm standing the upside far out weighs any potential down side... we are waaaaaaay undervalued imho
Well said BigBench,
And don't forget about the potential low digit millions contract with a European country!
All to play for!
GLA
Hope you are right BB , there’s a lot of what ifs though!
Back in the right direction though
Just thinking about the RNS... Just 1% of the total being awarded to GDR puts £30m on the Macp.... thats approx 50p on todays SP... so that's us @£1.25...... imagine FDA drops in and BC start selling big.. AIHL starts selling... then POC comes online... not to mention HCV ID tests selling... and the DOD contract...How BC or Danaher has not snapped us up for even a bargain 2 or 3 quid i don't know... the potential here is massive... and yes yes its potential but Jesus the more i look at it the better it looks... (just like the wife after every beer!... Joke by the way).
I think in a few short weeks we will be looking back saying 60-70p was an absolute steal... Just my view.
So that's a 10bagger from here.... that will do nicely ;-)
Looks like patience is going to pay off here. Testing is clearly going to be required globally for years so the potential for contracts remains huge. With our quality gold standard testing products I think it's inevitable that GDR will have a significant role to play in the overall Covid testing landscape. This is shaping up to be a potentially £500m company in the very near future.
Precisely. I wasn't happy with the drop but it does provide new opportunity and if you were happy paying 165p last month then its all good in the 70's. PHE tender really has bolstered this now for anyone with a confidence issue and the FDA are getting through the waiting list quicker and quicker each month this year (understandably given the situation over there).
100% agree Pacman sentiment is once again with us, nice little update from DB and the crowd will converge here buying up what little capacity is left of these shares in circulation.
EUA from FDA now would light the fuse nicely
POC news cant be far away... i see BOJO has cancelled India trip as Delhi gone back into lockdown... Get over there DB and get testing!!
Good to see the upbeat comments here. All I've seen on the news all weekend is testing testing and also some coverage on more testing. Winning on the tender listing is a beacon for the GDR range and will be picked up on by heath ministries all over the world. Very positive and probably unexpected outcome. No mention of the AIHL (needs to be commercialised first) but thats another massive add just for the UK and a huge one for once launched in the US. Mortgage killer stock in the making here. AVCT has been promising the world for a year and short of buying new houses for directors it really has a long way to go to justify its market cap. We are already justified with several tests ready to go, some of which took years of R&D. Sales need to come and they will Todays RNS just took what was left of the risk out of this stock for me.
15000 added at 72.5p and happy with the the small premium to Friday as its all coming together. Traction will get hold very short term now I think as my position reflects. Many under water will be averaging down and the SP starts to move. For some reason many feel more comfortable adding as the SP climbs rather than when its screaming at the lows. Each to their own risk management.
