In another year this will be close to 8%. We are still working on last year's profit numbers. This years will be much higher. By then, I hope price will reflect the rich yield on offer.
Yes the political risk is worrying and Russia has just ramped up tensions. Not that it will affect Siberia? For Russia, you will need a good Oligarch owner will strong Putin bum kissing abilities....
Compare it to about 8% yield at POLY, but I'm not willing to take on Russian country risk and FRES is my silver play and I think it's the better silver play. Like others here CEY is my equivalent in the gold play.
Looking at the history, dividend is closely tied to the profits of the period so I suspect that next one could be around or slightly over 10c. This would make it yield almost 3%. Decent.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm long, came her looking for 1500plus.
No exit, LT holder adding and averaging.
I will hold my core for £15/£16 while averaging down a 2nd tranche as the rises permit.
I use 1/8 for FRES and reduce on rises and add on falls. Had a tranche to release at 920 from 880 but thought that the rise in gold and silver would move it up as FRES can lag the gold move. Decided to move the release to around 940 - 960 which I expect and another 1/8 every 20p rise from there.
That was the interim, which is often nominal.
Last year there was a dividend in August but it was only 1.7p so who knows
Let's hope that the break out we are all waiting is for real and not due mainly to the short term reaction to this piece of news

Mary,
Have you got an exit strategy planned or target price(s) ?
Regards
I only see one way traffic, Silver about to slice $26 and gold going to $18 short term. The bond move is on hold for now and for a while normal trading on PM and FRES in particular to resume.
FRES gearing up for another move up before close as is CEY.
Heavily undevalued. i am thinking a selling strike here too.
Agree Mary, PM's having a romp up atm, long may it last.
After this dividend, has anyone any idea what amount the next divi will be?
Would be nice to see the dividend rise back to 2011 levels

Still seeing a move up from here though and today's price action should hold as the recovery continues to take hold.
I am calling a move to towards 1000 in the next few weeks.
Portfolio is a wave of green today.
if mgmt have any sense they can say any production shortfall was on purpose as they anticipate higher silver prices in the coming months.
Mary, the FRES production report has been a perennial disappointment... having said that, reading and re-reading the annual report, I get the feeling that they have been extra cautious with the production forecast. Therefore I loaded up ahead on this. Let's see if my hunch is right. Would make a really nice change.
Every time there is positive news on this, gold price caters which takes this down more than the news. We are so due a reverse...
Must be worth a rise into the report is case of an upside surprise. Just putting it out there.
also ex div 22nd April.
