@Tovoc, just picking up on your post of 7th Feb, well aware of the hardships suffered around us. Still waiting for one of these buyers to reply. I guess there's a monthly fee too. Daft if you're skint.
@Tacuma - lots of people out there are low wage earners, zero contract workers with very little money to spare! If the car breaks down or washing machine or fridge this can cause a major financial crisis for so many families.
It's the reality of the world we live in. I suspect most people on this bulletin board are not in this boat.
IMHO
I did note your reply in early June Beacon, it's the fact that anyone would want to buy or sell two pounds worth of shares. Just don't get it, that's all. I just hope they achieve a multi bagger reward of maybe four or five . The worlds gone mad.
I have told people before it is a company called freetrade.com, believe you pay a monthly fee and can trade certain shares.
What a shame that we seem to have inherited the RBD culture of some very low cost share buys. One pound and eight pound buys just seem to demean the value of the trades here, and the integrity of the Company as a whole.. Its new to me to see this practice and there's just something about it that is outside the ethos of serious stock trading.
I suppose that if your Company is in the dumps, its going to attract all sorts of dross. I've mentioned this many times but nobody has offered a reason as to why, many theories but no definitive answer. If you're a buyer that practices this weird method, please reply and solve this for me please.
Anyway, GLA as usual to all serious EOG supporters.
Agreed seems odd and not sure how much longer this will go on (we had a quick jump to 1.7p the other week) - but then EDR seem to be in same boat. I am sure there are many factors why we are at 1p (chunky seller, Irish situation clear as mud, Morocco a long way off, unknown management) all of which contribute, but maybe some people also look at the SP current pattern and the Wressle timetable and think they can get in nearer to production at little risk of sudden surprise announcements or big price rises?
So now that we're back to being buddies, has anyone got a view on why we are at 1p when there's a good chance of an extra 150 extra barrels being added later on this year...
Serif its an EOG (repeat EOG) specific calculated risk at this market cap.
In my previous post which Tac jumped on, I in no way offered any comment at all, about general investing in aim (?!) just to be clear to everyone!!
It could blow up in my face but I certainly see "fair" value at this market cap and it allowed me to "average" down!!
Actually DH “Last of the Doom Mongers” is a pretty cool title and might make a great BB handle or Hollywood movie blockbuster in the future! Glad to see your confidence returning in this share.
Tac you need to be read your posts buddy.
Writing stuff like some devastating losses here hardly inspires confidence for new readers? Perhaps you should re read my post again as well? Which you will see, I have bought another million recently, which I'd say is a lot more supportive of the share price than people like you lamenting devastating losses?!
Each to their own interpretation of course !!
Dunders, I don't need you or anyone else to tell me about the risks of AIM.
There, you have prompted a response from me , its why you post here and on other boards, 2569 posts of vacuous comments that are of no relevance or use to anyone dropping in here for a read. If you have something of interest to post, please do so but until then, if all you have to say is " I told you so " then spare us all please. You are the last of the doom mongers left to propagate despair and doom here. Its all a bit tiresome now. very very boring.
Well said Dunder.
Wtgr Tacs there were a few posters on here who did mention the risks to you.
May I point out when you see quite idiotic remarks (paraphrasing here) like... "I could understand the directors letting the share price drop when they read such disrespectful remarks on here"....you know the lunatics really have taken over the asylum!!
Do you remember those halcyon days?
Some posters on here (if they still read it) should hang their heads in shame for some of the stupidity posted which "may" have (with groupthink philosophy) encouraged holders to hang on?!
On a separate subject I have "averaged down" and increased my holding to about 2 mill. now?
Will I regret it though?
No, absolutely not, because I am aware of the risks involved and aware it could get substantially diluted further but at least, "confetti Hugh" isn't still her, lol.
As ever all imho and dyor.
@ Bantam, Wrong meeting chum, the AA meeting is just a consequence of the GA meeting.
Seriously, some devastating losses here which shouldn't be taken too light heartedly. GLA , we need it .
(Throw us a morsel Simon )
Perhaps it's time they relate our losses in relation to their salaries. their performance equates to Jack……
I feel like I am in an AA meeting ...it only sounds real once you say it!
63k loss or me!
Ouch
Someone is going to say you haven't lost anthing until you sell them. I disagree and beg Si to get some leadership in place.
£31400 loss for me :(
with wressle coming online this quarter, SP will probably settle at around 3p.
If they can get a farm out , then this will fly like MATD 35 to 40p.
Hughs stories convinced me as an ignorant investor to average down probaly not the brightest move on my part, and I don't have enough confidence in the current mob (BOD) to buy any more.
Heideberg. You only have a 25k loss? Wow, I wish my loss was anywhere near that
25k loss for me Si.
talking BShiiiit.
nobody would be able to know from simple trades. I just see buys and sells.
institutions changing hands . lmfao.
btw, i see this testing 1.7p again. bought 30,000. sitting on a massive £60 loss LOL
Maybe it was posted by mistake on the wrong Board, as no obvious link that I can see to activity here.
