Excatly this, work is a big system but probably uses a lot less than all the home workers combined.. Will be an interesting winter...
Load up here!
good points Greg, I know so many people that are working from home now, including myself. Boiler is on all the time !! lol. Whereas before it would be off pretty much during the day.
Right I am just going to turn the heat setting up on my gas boiler, should help ENW!
Remember a lot of gas was being sold cheap as it was pretty much an unwanted bi product of shale... Shale dropping off significantly is a US phenomena but they have been sending out a lot of LPG on the back of this. That is coming to an end IMO, its more of a supply issue, demand will be robust...More people WFH could easily = higher gas use as well...
Pressure building I think a few buys now and this will firmly head into the 20p plus range...
Futures prices for jan, Feb, mar are about 20% higher than spot prices.
If gas price went above 3100 we would be running on gas!
Not sure where the demand for gas is coming in the short term? Cold weather forecast would do it.
Hopefully just see some chunky buys here tomorrow.
And gas prices up again today. I wonder if they will break 3100?
gregpeck7, I fully agree with all your comments!
Done K agree, they tend to move together, what is interesting is over 3 - 4 million shares traded JKX last few days and its had a decent move and broken out but not dramatic. I suspect even 1/3 of that volume here would push the SP percentage wise much higher.... Quotes im getting are that its about 21p for 150,000 shares, which tells you how tight he situation is .
Just look how much enw went up on limited volume. The stock is so tightly held. If even a spec of the herd arrives this will fly like you would not believe. I think this will be 40p before you know it and 50p for Christmas. It’s an absolute steal here, and gas prices continue to firm. You are basically buying this for cash at present which is crazy when they are likely to be pushing 6,000 boepd soon and it looks like they will increase their exploration activities with the court settlement behind them.
yeah have to wonder what's going on with B and whether he still has this. If he tweets ENW you know it will explode again but the question is does he lol. The volume has gone through the roof since he mentioned JKX yesterday at 17p.
On fundamentals ENW does have more cash than JKX but JKX grows cash much quicker... as was seen in the recent update... over $5m including inventories. Both JKX and ENW have no debt which is great though. I think ENW was also far better when there was two large shareholders compared to just the one. Anyway, Gas prices are now at 11 month highs so it's looking a lot better ahead for both JKX and ENW. JKX will certainly bag from these levels , ENW could do also. Accumulation time.
JKX has risen significantly in the last week, yep Baron on twitter would have helped it on its way, but there was going to be a rerate with NG prices rising for the past few months.
ENW and JKX sp's generally mirror each other so i would expect an upturn here to follow suit
Yes Qalbabbass is correct. In fact Baron went to the last AGM. He has a number of posts on twitter too probably under #RPT (Regal petroleum) . I contacted him not long ago and he confirmed he still holds his enwell shares.
Baron has had shares in #enw as well. Check his historical posts.
was thinking to decide between JKX and ENW which one a better buy. was thinking of buying ENW, but then just noticed today, Baron bought in JKX .
any view?
