"Time Of The Month", maybe !
GKB, why so bad mood today?
It was just a Swedish saying.. referring to oil prices in this case
Loving the SP rise here. Next stop 25p. Come one ENQ!
Oh I'm the king of investors here, the jungle v.i.p, I invested my money six years ago, now I'm up four pee.....
Monkey is now in profit again!! Yippee gla stay calm everyone, more to come...
As one who doesn’t have the time, inclination or indeed skill to Day Trade I shall enjoy my evening feeling smug that for once, simple patience as a (very) LTH seems to be nearly paying off as I edge closer to break even ......12 months earlier than expected !!
Hello E,
Comparison with Viking Ships was just that companies can be completely wrongly valued.
But it can also correct itself in very short term if something appears
Tomorrow could be a fun day then! Seems the market was waiting for some 'stabilising' news e.g. no nasty surprises from OPEC, which we seem to now have.
Hard to say : was thinking £675m/ 40p but RI would take it down to 38p
But a sector re-rate supported by large II buying larger oilers would lift up this boat too.
You could see 25p tomorrow am.. Think it, Dream it, Believe it. You will see it.
It's whatever my super realistic friend L3 says it is - if he says 60p, then the answer, incontrovertibly, must be 60p.
We haven't even reached fair value for oil at $60
Wiggly "Fair market value for Enquest with oil trading at $70?" Answer: 60p...
Fair market value for Enquest with oil trading at $70?
Agreed P - an upmove backed by Industry cycle fundamentals (Demand + Pricing) means that we're only just about catching up to the higher value that should've been assigned to Enquest a few months ago. I'm not saying that Enq will move up in a straight line to 30p from here - but every small move is welcome.
Who can now bet against $70 oil in Q1 - that's quite easily possible. I trust that they didn't do an aditional silly upside limiting hedge - barring that, it's all systems go.
We can't necessarily compare ourselves to Viking ships and their asset sale that led to this big dividend, but we can certainly hope for a great finish to the Exxon assets deal in MY.
Hang in there LTHs..
Back in the black at last after a few what I'd call 'hopeful' average downs last year - I was never worried haha
Onwards and upwards now - I didn't take a ride on this roller coaster just to make an odd grand or so
Closing price 21.15 , 04/03/2021, 14:36
Barclays servers have an issue today.
Hello E,
Yeah, just because it went up 80% it doesnt mean its time jump of the boat.
This is still very very cheap 1b EBITDA even with 60p SP. EV/EBITDA still below 3.
I remember one forgotten company in Sweden, had 3 Ice breakers.
SP was hower around 20 SEK for many years.
They sold one of the 3 ships of multiples of the company value and SP went to 200 SEK in days.
Then they made a dividend of 116 SEK

Amena Bakr says Saudi will bring back their 1m gradually from May.. (so no dumping it back in one go)
Should be ok from here.
Did even my good trader mate MRC also get on the wrong end of the trade? His posts suggest so ... Market timing is almost always never easy or good.. ;-)
Latest reports suggest no production increase!
P - this is what being left behind looks like for some of the 'nimble' traders no doubt. Business cycle, business cycle (plus an OPEC nudge) = oil highs incoming = higher SP incoming...that should be the mantra. GL to the longs
In a past life I'd be heading for the bar about now to celebrate. Juan, that is probably an important milestone 21p.
Barclays server still showing last trade at 14:37
Can imagine a few others take a look on Enq now. 600m FCF and dirt cheap still!
