Oh dear chisler, you really need to get out more.
Not the open air you understand, just outside your own head for a change.
Who know you might just develop a genuine sense of perspective instead of reliving past disappointments, and then looking for a scapegoat.

up against the clock !
youve had since the 10th Nov to formulate an opinion.
just answer the question.

@OOSM your definition of starting differ to mine and Grham's.See the following quote from GC taken from the link below. "The company plans to start building the potash mine, Africa's largest, by the end of 2021 and expects to start production in late 2023, Chief Executive Graham Clarke told Reuters" https://www.reuters.com/article/morocco-potash-idUSL1N2KF159
Ok chisler let's deal with your inability to let the whole truth stand in the way of the of a good story, particularly when it is between you and your personal quest to blame GC for what befell Sirius .
A project I might just add, is still showing how un-fundable it would have been by issuing junk bonds, and it will only one day become a valuable asset to Anglo American, because they have very deep pockets able to finance the project to completion. The facts of the matter are, that GC was the the Technical Director, responsible for the Mine side of the project, NOT the Finance!
So I don't know whether be annoyed or flattered, that you are including me in your favourite obsession by trying to assassinate my character in this way ;o)

'onlyoneshare(dispicable)me. one of youre posts: 13 oct 2021 17:02, lse.
quote, "its o.k. if a few elderly shareholders have to eat baked beans for tea for the rest of their lives" thats a dispicable baseless attack on innocent old age pensioners whom lost life savings in the sirrius downfall of which clarke (youre hero ) was aparty too. Not a nice person are you.
No one here are making baseless attacks on the BoD ,they are asking pertinant questions of the BoD, all they have to do is the job they were appointed to do, simple'.
When the full response to previous Sirius references, by someone else in your cohort (Mr Jinx), was:
'Quite why you hold GC responsible for the shareholder carnage that took place at Sirius is beyond me, as the reports I've read stated that the Bond market was unreceptive to the necessary placing for finance, so when the UK Government declined to step in and help, it was a forgone conclusion that a predatory buyer would snap up a gem of a potash mine. Obviously the Government didn't care, as the mine couldn't be taken elsewhere, and if a few elderly shareholders had to eat Baked Beans for tea for the rest of their life, well that's the risk you take - not I hasten add, a view I am in any way comfortable with, as that risk might come home to roost if Emmerson were to fold'.
Which hopefully shows my true view, which was that the Government did not care, rather then me, and additionally that if Emmerson is not a success, then I will probably be eating baked beans myself - which should explain why I cannot understand supposedly genuine shareholders, continually trying to undermine the BoDs who are basically working for us. Surely having confidence in the Management team is a prerequisite for investing, whilst trying to undermine confidence in them devalues your own investment?
Someone help me out here, as I cannot decide if I am a 'Melt or a Melon' on this issue?
None of this in any way includes you of course Hillview1, as I do get your point about transparency.
Sorry chisler,
I didn't realise that I was up against the clock, and as some of us have a day job, you know how things are, still nice to see that you have grasped how to be ironic, even though self awareness still seems to be eluding you ;o).
Anyway, hopefully, the parcel has arrived, I'm guessing that that bright yellow is your colour - I took the decision to go with the single eye for you as I felt it was very much in keeping with your single minded, myopic view of GC, oh, and obviously the costume will stretch to fit ;o).
I will of course, address your deliberate misquoting from my earlier post in just a moment, but I must pause for just a moment to try and help Barravelli out...
Barravelli @11:13,
Very perceptive, but you seem to overlook a couple of things:
1. The Detailed design phase is part of the construction phase, so yes it has in fact started.
2. The final mine to production stage, has been maintained on track, by ignoring the ESIA permit approval, as part of the critical path, and beginning the steps necessary to achieve this has actually kept the overall project timeline intact, so far.
You obviously hadn't noticed this before, so hopefully now, you are 'Happy to be wrong'?
No answer from you onlyoneshare(dispicable)me.
not surprised
you exhibit the characteristics of an individual void of free thinking.
which would explain youre tendancy to resort to insults when you feel inferior .

Threat of war with Russia, and Belarus being used as a base Russian troops to launch an imaginary attack upon Ukraine. One thing for certain the Belarusian potash will be less popular no matter the outcome.
Putin and his Generals are obviously sitting on a stock pile of best before date armaments and what better way that to remove them from their warehouses than to have a large military exercise near their ex beloved buffer country the Ukraine, And while their feed some those arms to the rebels in-country.
Just as long Germany and all keep buying their ruski gas there will be plenty of money to buy better weapons fill those warehouse spaces.
UK, sending anti tank ground launch missiles? Whet were they bought for who has tanks that threaten us? Obviously more old stock.
And before anyone mentions Crimea, the population voted in Russia, pensions are better and their military shipping base brought in far more money than Kyiv ever did.
He didn't just announce the permit was imminent he also specified a time line thereafter including beginning construction by end of last year.
Gonzalez - maybe because from the viewpoint of the Moroccan authorities there is no delay? You only think there is a delay because Graham announced that he hoped the permit would arrive at the begnning of H2 2021. This proved to not be the case; he has apologised for this at a number of investor presentations last year. That is fine - there was clearly a misunderstanding around timing / process. The company likes to be ambitious with its milestones - that is generally a good thing. I think they learnt a lesson here to not over-promise and you would have seen that more recently in recent announcements. In the end, if you have lost confidence in the board, you can always sell your holding but I expect you will regret very soon as things will move quickly this year. We should be due an RNS this week or next week on the awarding of the remaining engineering contracts - lots of work being done in the background to start contruction by the end of the year.
I agree with Hillview. There is no way that the board have not asked the appropriate people/organisations about the delay in the permit, and there is very slim possibility that they do not have any more information on it. I asked the question during the last live session and it was ignored. I have also completed the contact for on the EML website 4 times now with various questions. I have received no replies whatsoever. They need inform shareholders of the cause of the delay.
why don't you just answer the question it was very simple and not explain the permit process which I'm acutely aware of,
With regards to the ESIA delay, I expect there was some misunderstanding about how long the process would take. Morocco released a new mining code relatively recently and Emmerson will be one of the first miners in the country to get approval under this code. Things are done properly in Morocco - this isn't a third world country. You can see that from the number of different submissions they have had to submit; you need to allow time for this process to complete. I also think the pandemic hasn't helped speed up matters- governments have had other priorities during the last 2 years but things are looking more positive now.
will all due respect bluepalace you are just rehashing the same info we all know and have done for the best part of a year. Here is a very very simple question does the Bod know of the reason why the permit is delayed, if yes why not share the vital information and if not why do they not know and share this as well.
The drop yesterday was seen across the whole market - long term holders shouldn't be worried about day to day price movements anyway (if indeed they are long term holders).
Graham admitted that his timescale for the ESIA was overly ambitious and he has apologised for that. I think that is fine - these things are out of the company's control. I believe the BoD when the company says:
"the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment ('ESIA') submission is awaiting the final approval and the Company has completed various submissions to government agencies including the water authority, l'Agence du Bassin Hydraulique de Sebou, Regional Department of Environment, Regional Department of Forestry, and Regional Centre of Investment, as well as the public enquiry process with no objections and full support from local stakeholders".
It will come I expect within the next couple of months and those who are criticising the directors now will quickly come on here and say this is the best junior miner out there etc. EML are not the only company which has experienced delays in permitting - you look at their competitor in Spain, Highfield Resources, I think they have been waiting for various bits of paperwork for at least 3 years now. When the Emmerson board say they have a good relationship with the Moroccan authorities, I believe them. It is in everyone's interest to get the mine built, and foreign investment is crucial to that. A bit of patience required from some on here.
way. Regardless of what the cause of delay is the market and individual will decide on whether they still want to be invested in the project "that is doing things the right way" not picking and choosing on what you advise the shareholders.
good morning one share , an interesting and understandable reaction to my post as always.I have always have had confidence in the fundamentals and concept of this project but what I won't accept is the lack of transparency of why there is a delay in the permit being issued. The company made a decision that the mantra and announcements going forward would always be "doing the right things always" what a brilliant bit of slogan terminology when running around doing podcasts, investors seminars when looking for PI to get this off the ground. I am well aware that continually posting banal information restaff or info on potash has had little or no effect on the share price which we are always being told is grossly undervalued. when you advise about literally everything under the sun about this project but decide not to advise on why the permit is delayed is most definitely doing thigs the right

US$ 46.75 from GSM and GQC for 29.9% of US$ 1.4 billion NAV of the company Emmerson is not a "conspiracy theory" as you put it, these are facts contained in RNS 10th Nov 2021 when you have read it, clearly you havnt,
explain to me why its a good deal to give away 29.9% of US$ 1.4 billion for a paultry US$ 46.75,
chisler
Im not mistaken in the fact that you are not invited to this "house party" so scuttle off back under your rock there's a good chap.
So what do we have here, all the Graham Clarke haters gathering for a quick house party? it hardly seems 5 minutes since the last time that Kimhappy, Barravelli and MrJinx were kicking that particular can around, so I'm sure that chisler must be lurking somewhere? Oh no I remember now, chisler had slipped out of Audible's 'trap-door', after his latest conspiracy theory failed to gain any traction with the 'Adults' in the room. In fact the only thing I find surprising about this raving cabal is Hillview1's increasingly strident postings, and indeed threats to sell half of his not inconsiderable shareholding - which I find somewhat puzzling, as presumably selling whilst the price is dropping will likely speed up the fall in price, in turn accelerating any potential loss. For someone who insists in hearing only facts Hillview1, you seem content to ignore some which are fairly self evident.
Personally, I must confess that I don't quite understand the current fixation on the SP, by supposed LTHs, I mean we all know that the SP will only rise on the announcement of some major de-risking event, of which most are expected this year - with some highly likely to be completed in Q1. All of which has already been briefed by GC and HL, but fortunately they have learned the bitter lesson of being too optimistic with timelines, over which they have no direct control.
Since the strategic investors came on board, as far as I am aware, Emmerson do not have any short term funding issues that would require raising extra working capital, so unless you actually need to sell shares now, the day to day SP is only an issue if it's direction of travel is genuinely indicative of a serious issue. IMO this has clearly not happened, but if selling 1M shares in a single week works for you Hillview1, then go for it, as I am sure that there are other investors who would be happy to pick up more Emmerson shares on the cheap. Perhaps if the price is right some of the more vociferous of your co-posters might be interested in an additional holding , as would I, if the real price paid were not these recurring and baseless attacks on the Emmerson BoD.
Puzzler2:
Completely agree with you :) I have experienced several such situations during my years of investing... And they all came good eventually.
Remember: the markets are so often IRRATIONAL and emotion-driven. And sometimes the SP does not represent company performance.
Be patient and you’ll be rewarded :)
You’re placing trust with Clarke’s end of year newsletter? The guy is a melt. aimvho, of course.
I doubt our new strategic investor would have become involved with EML, just two months ago, without feeling confident that everything was on track. Also, Graham's end of year newsletter, just three weeks ago, confirmed that everything was progressing to plan. Today's fall followed the broader market weakness and recent falls generally were likely PIs bailing because news isn't coming through quickly enough. Nothing has changed in terms of the fundamentals.
@minded, if the drop today was isolated, I’d agree that it’s the general panic in the markets. However, the trend was already downwards and has been since before Christmas. Today has just shone a spotlight on the issue here.
Something is/has definitely gone on imo Barravelli couldn't agree more. They are just not saying what.
The truth would cause a panic and slump the price significantly. Staying quiet is lesser of 2 evils.
