Its the shorts :(
I don’t trade enough to pay for a live feed.
When I was working for Thomson Reuters I had free access to Eikon and real time data including latest trades , size ,of trade , price etc . I used to see the same small quantity trades.
Dursban is banned I meant to say below
Hi Tony
I agree the Corteva trial results are really good, I have a farmers hat as well, I see many maize crops ruined when birds have taken the seeds with many seed dressings banned this product is going to be in big demand, wireworm is now decimating crops big time now that Durban is banned, Any help there would be massive. The demand for these environmentally friendly products will be high and I do mean demand.
I think that you will find that there is no mystery and just "tidying up" exercise by a market maker who have to balance their books.
Also, what you see in buy/sell columns is just a computer "guess". Whatever the official spread is the market makers often improve on that but these platforms that are used cannot see that so just a computer generated guess around mid price.
Yes , I’m the same and pay the same to trade 1 share or 100,000.
But buying one share for 9.48p would cost me £9.50 in trade costs.
My guess is it’s a dealer/bank testing the market in prep for a larger trade?
Maybe others have different costs to settle trades than I do, but I pay a flat fee for settlement regardless of the amount of stock. I enter orders for Eden "all-or-nothing" for the full trade size, because it makes no sense for me to trade less than 3,000 shares at a time. My cost base including the settlement will already be significantly higher than the screen price (and same for settlement). Another reason why illiquid companies can't be short term trades, and I look at comments of "flipping for a quick profit" with cynicism.
The AGM was extremely interesting yesterday and, with my farmer's hat on, I found the Corteva video that was shown to be a real eye opener.
Not only did it show an area that had been depleted of maize seed by birds as their agronomist walked the rows but it then showed one area treated with a product that is being banned in many countries shortly as a comparison. The third section treated with ECOVELEX really stood out to me as the maize seedlings looked the stronger and healthier. I know that sturdy seedlings grow into strong productive plants.
"Very nice" said the agronomist.
Also a link that I have posted before to the video posted by Igor Teslenko, President, EMFA, Corteva dated 30th May:

I look forward to what happens next.
At 10:27am someone bought 1 share at 9p.
Errr why?
In my opinion, I don't know enough about this year's cash flow to say that they are "running out by December". With distribution agreements this year, one would have to have a view not only on the cash outflow but the timing of any cash inflows for the agreements we have seen annonced. I don't think that as a contract manufacturer, the company need to drastically increase working capital to hold inventory etc. Whether the company want more cash is clear: give them 20 mill and they can spend on regulatory applications around the globe that they cannot do now. If the team believes in the progress, it would make more sense to issue stock at a higher level, rather than here. The whole ball game changes when the company transition from a start-up to business model. My concern is only the valuation, which on a multiple of revenue is massive. I don't have other metrics (profits) to make a valuation call this early in the game.
I would say this is big news for farmers aroun EU and USA who would love completely natural products to treat their seeds. Well done Eden Research. Let's see what Sean have hidden in his hat today ! The page have turned big time... Good Luck !
This is a competitive product to what Eden Research have?

I think it is the companies AGM tomorrow if I’m not mistaken,
Maybe we will be updated regarding other territories in the pipeline ?
Come on guys - recent news has been good, hence the rise, but fundraising looms, hence the fall after a while. I hope you all also topsliced? I did so heavily at 10.6 and a few more when it hit 11. I'm keeping the cash ready for the raise....
"Volume is the stock price polygraph" Indeed and in recent weeks its flown and been highly volatile up from 4p to 12p . It would take a very forensic detecive at the SFO to distingush somebody flogging some shares and banking a profit from someone acting on inside knowledge .
It's also a reasonable assumption so not only that they will be out of cash by December so if not now.when?
Lots of day traders cashing in on a quick 30% ease off with the speculative scaremongering
Lenoman - if there is an announcement (good or bad) in the next few days, then somebody has access to material non-public information. This is a public company, so that's illegal and will be easy for the SFO to see.
A drop like this, usually means a raise is coming, beware of jumping in, AIMO of course.
Volume is the stock price polygraph. The reason I believe the price is sustainable is the huge volume (compared to historic) behind the recent moves. It is the opposite of an "odd lot" where somebody invested 2 grand and just took all the shares on offer. A start-up early growth company will have cash, which they spend without revenue as they invest for future growth. As the company cash goes down, the tangible value of the company falls. It is the worst business model, with negative cash flows and no revenues. When that IP (Intangible asset) turns into revenue (which comes with deals) it becomes the best business model: revenue grows sustainable through distribution sales, and costs do not repeat. It took alot of time and money to get EPA product approval.
Saw this today ,but it’s a click and pay for more info article.

This looks like a great stock to get involved in.Always preferably to invest in a stock that is improving the earth we live in.Looks a bit overbought at the moment but the longterm potential is enormous!
Looks like a good time for the BODS to call for some more cash . There can't be much left of the £2m they had remaining last December. Maybe a £5m raise ?
They have always stayed clear of doing a breakdown of sales country by country ,year by year to show any progress in rolling out
Wonder if this is likely to spin back up to 20p again . Good luck with that.maybe time to cash in some chips
