Sadly, it looks like Wildwood have gone.
We've also lost 19 locations and 59 restaurants overnight.
Total location count: 111
Total restaurant count: 555
This could be good news if they've gone through the whole list of reaturants and we have 555 left. (anything over 500 post-cv-19 would be good I think).
Why would wild woods go?
That was the biggest chain Dish had?
Do t restaurants need Dish more than evernow?
Morning Spero, the likes of Wildwood may only be temporarily not showing on the app, and there could be a number of reasons. We have seen this before where restaurants have disappeared from the app only to reappear days / weeks later. It is wise to keep track on the number of restaurants and locations but I wouldn’t take too much notice / concern until we are fully operational again. I will start to judge the numbers game more seriously at the end of July / beginning of August once the team have had a month to settle back in.
Also anyone remember a small chain, Wolf Italian Street Food.
If not mistaken 6 sites, Manchester, Nottingham, London etc
went and never came back
Wildwood appear to be temporarily offering just a takeaway service, currently no casual dine ins unless you book the entire venue. This suggests a few things to me. Without currently offering the dine in option they don’t need to be on the Dish app, ‘as was’. However, we may see them reappear once they start to offer the dine in experience again, and we may also see Wildwood appear on our Delivery / Takeaway section when this is up and running. Wildwood currently working with Deliveroo, I’m not sure if they were previously, but that doesn’t mean they cannot be present on our app too.
Oh dear, Deliveroo May have snatched the biggest chain Dish had!
It’s our worst nightmare, Deliveroo!
I notice you are not very good at answering questions and entering into healthy debate jSmith
I went to Wildwood shortly prior to everything closing and they hadn’t got an option for the Dish discount (after we’d booked through the app). The branch manager was aware of it so put us through as a services discount which actually turned out to be more than Dish we’re offering.
It’s difficult to know what’s happening either way but they certainly needed a bit more alignment before rolling out Dish from their end.
Concerning we have lost our biggest chain and they are using Deliveroo, not gd.
Tanya can you confirm this with your contacts?
Jsmith wildwood has always been on deliveroo for deliveries.... I really don't get what you're on about? I've used the app to book at wildwood previously, I received 50% off. I think wildwood do have their own offers on also at certain times.
Donnie concern is that we have lost our biggest chain them as they had over 50 sites with Dish in many locations, are they not happy with Dish?
you are conflating different events:
1) - wildwood have been on deliveroo for 12 months at least.
2) - the app is changing a lot at the moment - we know the engineers are releasing a lot of changes.
you cannot connect these events and conclude anything with any confidence.
Tanya regarding buying, you can buy in large quantity, what provider they using HL, IG?
02-Jul-20 09:40:04 2.50 1,100,000 Buy* 2.45 2.50 27.50k
Tanya i showed you an example of a large buy
Also which provider are they using and you can't answer a genuine question?
I'll be a little more guarded with my obeservations in future. Felt disingenuous to spend months reporting increases in restaurant / location count, then not mention a decrease. To clarify, I'm very positive about prospects here.
Lets see if we can break through the 3.20p level next few sessions...
that will only happen with much bigger trade volumes due to the shorters keep pulling it back down
anyone would think I work in the industry........
Think we see 5p plus here short term possibly 10p on good news
Reminds of ctea
