the 50% discount would be at a time when the restaurant has no customers in. If they're using the 50% at 6pm on a Saturday, then they're either stupid or the restaurant is crap.
None force restaurants to give 50% discounts
But dish do hebce only 114 restaurants after almost 1 year
Not very good is it
Ronaldtrump,
If that was true there would be no tastecard, tripadvisor booking platform the fork would be dead, eatigo would be dead, groupon would be dead, all voucher sites would be dead. The fact is that according to Deloittes over 30% of UK consumers dine out based on offers and deals. So this is complete and utter tosh
Big blue day coming
Just watch.
Time to play hide and seek
Scotsman you are correct
Open Table is the major problem for Dish not working out
Open Table are already in 40,000 locations
And (i did not realise) they already have a filter that brings up restaurants with offers
So aswell as having restaurants all over the uk
National TV campaign
Location filter
Offers filter
Not forcing restaurants to give 50% discounts they can't afford leaving it to the restaurant to decide if and what offer.
Open Table is the go to place for restaurants and diners.
Restaurants don't like dish with the 50% forced on them this is why it is not working and they are resorting to giving away millions of shares (clutching as straws) trying in vain to get someone to persuade a business owner it's a good idea for them to source cook an serve a fillet steak for a tenner, imo
Ronald, this was posted by you on the 4th July
RE: Agree04 Jul 2019 16:30
100% Mart sentiment at the moment has hit a low
Your post explains how simple and quick we can achieve what has been promised
And as momentum build we will see a snowball effect and any sellers will look back in 8-9 months wishing they had kept faith
Concept is excellent
Downloaded table pouncer app and have to say as a consumer a total waste of time ( now deleted) and waiting for big dish ti arrive more local
Onwards and upwards momentum will again start to build as we have already been told rhere will be several updates during July
Aidan Sanj keep up the good work hopefully we have some good sales managers lined up and the added monthly bonus for achieved target, and extra bonus for the most sign ups will attract some top end reps.
Everyones a winner

Once the roll out is done I have feeling Aidan will take on major cities in EU, he spoke to someone about this very early on after IPO float. Let's get the uk sorted first he said, watch this space, maybe the US are itching for it there! Could it be dishes very first franchise? Think past the number of restaurants ,,start from territory managers, then each dish staff will be doing what they are supposed be doing,,,,,not Sang and Aidan signing up restaurants, they can get on with their work and so can the others. All falls into place so crack on, I'm going now my beer was stronger than I thought, is the eight beer stronger than 7th normally?....did they con me I though they were all 4pct lol
Thanks for the replies
Asian techies work hard and long, very bright people. No worries there.
We are 6 to 8 weeks off putting 13 staff on the ground and signing up chains. Go for a walk
Good luck with that one Scottman
The biggest issue with this kind of business is getting the restaurants and user base.
It would be easier for an established restaurant based business like open table to employ someone to programme up a yield based system and have it operational way before DISH had 10% of their coverage and as a result DISH would be stifled.
If Art was happy that would definitely be an RNS
Dish announced they were fully funded for rollout prior to the placement. They took the money to make Art happy so they could roll out even quicker
And anybody that thinks other companies can just copy Dish by adding a tab needs attention, they would need the software first and a whole new side of business. Dish is eat in. Theirs are take out.
Companies that big acquire due to the cost involved and way to time consuming for them. If Dish sell it will be for a handsome price.i have mentioned before the tech will be far more than the number of restaurants
There are no worries about funding here - so far. The management have all been paid recently by the issue of over 11 million shares and they have only have 2 territory managers to pay so far plus their less costly tech staff in Manilla. I doubt they have got through even half of the cash they raised on IPO. In fact they couldn't possible have needed the funds they raised recently. I believe that was just offered and was too good an offer to refuse.
If you open a garage with 2 staff and 140 customers bring in their cars within weeks something has to give. Dish are recruiting as quick as they can. It will all come good
Funded until 2021, it's all in past RNS.
Too early for accurate data but data they will be collecting for sure and will sell it for good money.
Data is the prime source of revenue for Facebook
Wondering if anyone knows the number of active users of the app? I can see 50k downloads. Wonder how many are investors! Also is that apple and android combined.... We seem to be putting a lot of focus on growing the sales team but is anyone keeping milestones. Are we getting new customers at a fast enough pace and are we signing up restaurants at a fast enough pace. Any idea how long we are funded for? I really like the concept and it sure looks to benefit the restaurant trade if it can fill empty tables at short notice.
It's a 2 way street here. They dont like us, we dont like them etc.
Even if they have left it will be like shareholders here leaving before the party has started. We are not a household name YET!
As you rightly stated before...now 50k downloads of the app, when the restaurant numbers decreased there were only 10k downloads.
Too many people kicking this company before they have even been given a chance.
I think we are fortunate to be invested so early, you and me both from 1.5p upwards.
That's 300pct profit in less than a year!
What is the issue!
And the future??
Ambassador
Uk roll out
Restaurant group
To name just a few... plenty to come soon!!!!
It will be a good management decision Art.
We could have 500 restaurants signed up now but if only 114 are making a profit then I would concentrate on them. It is not just about numbers its about who is making us profit.
Of course the 41 (out of 150 total restaurants) that have disappeared from the platform since the 30th May may really still be on the platform but operating in monty's parallel universe or alternatively just going through a summer timewarp where they are still there but nobody can see them and they'll just reappear some freezing cold winters day when nobody wants to eat out anyway but I don't find that very likely. In truth it looks very much like they have chosen to delist.
Seems like a poor management decision to me.
