spero, thanks so much for your hard work...it's v much appreciated by me and I'm sure by others aswell..
I think that you'll find that Exeter is -1 and Bristol is +1 otherwise I have the same.
Good work Speroni
525 restaurants for month end based on todays totals personally I expect us to break 550
+1 Barnsley, Exeter, Kettering, Leeds, Manchester, York
+2 London, Maidstone
-2 Birmingham
-1 Bristol, Newcastle
New: Doncaster, Huddersfield, Penarth (+1)
Total location count: 95
Total restaurant count: 408
+9 for the day
Even monty5662 is complaining about the locations:
"Mind you if you cannot also I don't blame you because now it's becoming a real pain in the ass to count all the locations (and count all the restaurants) every day."
My brackets. It's easy enough to count the restaurants in London and Birmingham, etc - on the website anyway.
ART do you have the total additions for today new and existing locations?
New location - Penarth +1
Where is Penarth you may say? Well, it has a CF postcode - Cardiff - and is within stone's throw or sight of Cardiff. Yes, there could be 2 restaurants under Cardiff and one less location.
Shareholders are not stupid. Not only is this proceeding at a pedestrian pace but the allocation of the restaurants to the locations is absolutely appalling. How this hasn't been spotted by Aidan I do not know. It looks like a joke and it is a joke. There are now 96 locations, having had another 3 added today. 83 out of the 96 have 5 or fewer restaurants. Okay so revenue doesn't count for now but they shouldn't be taking the p*ss.
New location - Doncaster +1.
Unless you are short share price dips don't really matter
It is clear to anyone who has followed Bigdish for the last 12 months were the share price will be in another 10 to 12 months under the new strategy and progress now being made
Even if a fund raise was required in Q3 it would be no surprise, under the current rate of progress there will be no shortage of takers at a considerable premium to todays prices.
A subtle deramp by ART just now...ART give it a break
I don't think the share price is going to do a lot here for a while. If it didn't increase when a 50 restaurant chain was added it is hardly likely to go up much when these start trickling on again. Maybe overpriced for now looking at the trades - or lack of them.
Art, yes we do need new locations and lots of them. My home town, Huddersfield is finally on the map and I am looking forward to more restaurants.
More locations mean more people can use Bigdish in their home town. Get people using the app in their home town, then when they go out for the day or a holiday in London or Oxford.... they will be more likely to use the app away from home. Simple
The broken website is at last fixed. It was fixed using the easiest option available which could have been done a week or two earlier when the location list was first exceeded by the number of locations.
What they have done is to get rid of the location list at the top which didn't scroll and add all the locations to the bottom of the page.
I cannot believe it took them so long to fix it. At least it works now.
We dont need you ART either !!!!!!
New location - Huddersfield +1 - do we really need any new locations?
London upto 69
Leeds upto 6
Manchester upto 20
Adrian no i have not got any too risky as yet,i would rather be certain of a good thing than hope full of a great thing .ill wait till after a fund raising and dilution then i'll take note of forecasts and reality
Looks like sorros has sold all his shares. Better get in before the big rise.
upticks an unreliable indicator of fact or truth they are just fan mail
People obviously agree with me given the amount of upticks I get when I point out about Art...zero for Art
spero
My numbers. I think you said your count was 399 - not sure where we differ. One more has dropped off in Birmingham today but I won't include that until Monday.

Art, you have proven your ramp and deramp record. You ramp when you are long and deramp when you have sold. It is obvious to many
Yes, I apologize for banging on about the discounts. That isn't the problem here. It's all about getting the restaurants signed to the platform - unless Big Dish wants to be assigned to the dustbin of failed tech start-ups that quite simply never got off the ground.
But then I seem to remember bringing up the subject of sign-ups a few times in the last 18 months. In fact, more than a few times.
ART , you are seriously becoming boring...over analysing everything and getting it wrong. They DID NOT properly start telesales till Jan so they have added 193 in ONE not two months....December was Tom etc joining and prep time plus Xmas time and restaurants not interested at peak time of year. Please use your brain and talk to yourself, not here !!!!
I can see now that the lack of revenue is because no-one is using the App to book seats.
The answer is still to sign up these damn restaurants as quickly as possible. It doesn't really work for the management here to inform the shareholders that Tom and his telesales team grew Table Now from 250 restaurants to 3000 in 6 months and not commit to doing the same here.
However with only 193 added in 2 months, of which 50 were in one chain, and with no other chained in sight or even trialing the App, then that Table Now target is disappearing fast.
Great news - the telesales team is costing less than expected. Actually it's garbage news because without a huge increase in the rate of acquisition of restaurants Big Dish is as good as finished.
A better approach would be to spend more money on more telesales persons. Get 15 or 20 in the team instead of preaching false economies. Big Dish has the funds anyway. They get them from the shareholders. Get the job done.
