Wow, that now looks like a big player WAS prepared to buy at the higher line of the rising channel...and now a flurry of buys come in at 6.85p...EOD blue?
mrcautious, have a look at this chart, notice the rising channel. The big players will always want more at the lower rising trend of the channel, hence the flurry of trades earlier at 6.4p!

I`ll let others decide, but if I was a big player I`d want to add at the lower channel line, not the higher one.
Dev behaves like that all the time. If you can hold for 3 months plus you’ll be ok. The spread has been large a couple of times too!
That’s part of the fun isn’t it?
I understand whats going on, people are taking profit after a run of aggressive price hikes and I got spiked when I bought in yesterday at 7.25p !
Are, based on my previous post, most of the sells we see actually buys? My guess is they are buys. How the hell can you get a proper overview of what is actually happening when you have delayed trades and buys as sells etc
I don't understand their pricing at all. Just been offered Ask 6.58 on small quantity !
I agree totally with that Bottmzup, well said and I don’t do electronic stop losses for the same reason.
Strong support here, see you at 8p next week and 14p shortly after.
Sorry horse.mouth, but you`ll never convince me that there isn`t market manipulation shenanigans and smoke and mirrors deliberately exercised by the MM`s, brokers, and Institutions to gain an advantage over PI`s.
I`ve been trading for a long time and been caught out so many times, and learned my lesson. For example thats why I don`t put in electronic stop losses anymore, been stopped out with a 15% quick drop only to see the price 40% higher in a couple of days.
They want you to believe its all neat and tidy and supply and demand driven, but its not.
Lets agree to disagree.
Shake the tree and the monkeys fall out!
true price equals book price.
bottoms, i think it doesn't matter what the trades show as but the sp will indicate the true price. as for the MMs i really have little belief in their manipulations, pie in the sky?
I wish I could `unwatch` all the manipulation I`ve seen over the years, and pretend that everything is done by the book...so to speak, but I can`t.
Unfortunately you`re another one who`s naive enough to think that the MM`s don`t move the price around to suit their relationships with their favourite brokers and their clients.
Did you not watch how all of a sudden they dropped the price followed straight away by 5 x 250k and 1 100k blue trades at 6.4p then started moving the sp back up?
Now all the red trades at 6.6p are showing as sells, but they`re actually buys if you track them with your own dummy trades.
Wakey wakey!
Well said FSA. I do get a laugh at the notion that the MMs can walk a price down to whatever they like to fill an order. On that basis, think I’ll put a massive order in for 2p again. Should get filled by my friendly MMs no bother.
FSA, have you not been watching the trading patterns over the last few weeks?
It wouldn`t be the first time that the MM`s have dropped the price only to see some big buys chase the price back up...coincidentally!
The red trades since the drop are all buys, I`ve been tracking them with dummy buys, so a bit of MM manipulation is pretty normal here.
Big drop, a day after great news!?
Does someone know something we don't?
...don't buy into this notion that mm's drop sp so much to accommodate a big buy. Simply supply and demand is how sp works
