Typo that should be 6x which makes it 2394 which makes you RIGHT!
Crowd is trading at 28x ARR
Dark is trading at 14x
Taking just that metric ignoring profit and noting Dark has 41% of the customers of Crowd
Like for like the SP should be 1026
Ahananda …. I sold DT many months ago and ploughed the money into RR when it was under £1. If that makes me a muppet then I’ll definitely be more muppet from now on. I may well buy DT again as I think they are a great company… but when I made my decision to sell, I thought RR was a better company and looking at my current holding in comparison to what I would have had if I’d have kept Dark I was right!
Crowdstrike mkt Cap $73 billion
Darktrace mkt Cap $4.6 billion
That makes Darktrace worth £23 all day long
I think £23 is too high but from a comparison a valid comment
I did a comparison to loads of other SaaS companies a while back showing ARR to valuation multipliers and back then Dark was 700-1100 low end with a realistic 1200 fair value (by comparison). Revenue is stronger now so I need to redo that. Would love 2300 but feel 700 is about right for current performance but forward looking or buyout it certainly must be in the 1000-1500 range.
What kind of muppet would be selling a great company a the beginning of a rerate?
I would guess the shorts have infected these boards and are trying to get you to sell
They are terrified because there is 400% plus upside on the table.
Furthermore at this low valuation it is a strong bid target
Not sure why these punters keep telling us what they have done with their punts
Just by comparing the valuation with Crowdstrikes bring you to a £23 a share valuation.
I am continuin to accumulate
S,w
I decided to release some of my holdings here a while back. Now, I'm patiently waiting to reinvest. This time, I'm leaning towards something with more stability, albeit with modest expectations. I'm contemplating GSK, but I'm uncertain about the optimal entry point.
I top sliced yesterday(10%) at 509p. Originally i only wanted 50K shares in this but with the volitivity of the SP,i ended up with 160K,so i was well overweight. So i needed to trim. I put the dosh in CVSG.
Lending … well done on Nividia
I was an idiot to ignore others saying buy Nividua
Certainly RR done well
It’s funny most shares have a short time frame that they really boom like we have seen maybe in past month or two ( the previous 2 years very painful )
I wonder where Nividia , Apple , Microsoft , Google , Amazon will go next :)

Here's a UK version https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/gb:dark/forecast
If you look at the current price it is the same as it is in £ they just have not changed character ie. it shows current price 510.60
Reference to Analyst consensus from Wall Street Journal it should be noted that the figures quoted are in US dollars not GB sterling.
Well done Lending. Great to see some of the long standing members picking up a few winners. Couple had RR as well which paid off handsomely for them.
Don’t ever feel like you have to explain anything to the compulsive liar who doesn’t have a pot to p’ss in.
Sorry, the wording in my previous post, it's not exactly what I intended to say, but I hope you get the gist of it.
Consolidation is occurring in sectors beyond our direct focus. Could the notion, in the sector, migrate?

Cr888 I am one of the idiots who sold out some of my holdings earlier last year for a small profit. This idiot invested the proceeds in Nvidia currently 150% or so up on my purchase price vs DT currently up 40% on my sales price. So sometimes it is good to be an idiot.
I remain a strong believer in a buy and hold strateg and I still hold DT shares, but when opportunity knocks …………
Interesting WSJ Analyst Consensus shows BUY with 513 low, 700 mid (where I believe is fair value) & 1118 high

A takeover discussion could hit any anytime (like Aug 2022) and it will pop overnight - I'm sitting tight on my holding
All their data on Revenue, ARR, Customer growth, Churn, Forecast growth, Cyber AI Market etc is solid
Beyond Crowdstrike there are many viable actors to bid for such an undervalued business;
Microsoft
IBM
Oracle
EMC
Cisco
Computer Associates
VMWare
Dell
HP
Pal Alto Networks
Okta
Google
Norton
McAfee
Symantec
SentinalOne
Sophos
Trend Micro
At 513p
Market Cap is £3.59B / $4.49B
ARR is at 731.1M
Customers at 9,402
Crowdstrike is sitting at
Market Cap $71.98B
ARR is $2.56B
Customers at 23,019
So Dark has
28.5% of the ARR of Crowd
40.8% of the customers of Crowd
BUT only 16% the valuation of Crowd
Seems like a no brainer buy out for Crowd to add 9,402 customers paying $731.1M a year
or any of their competitors to gain Markey share against Crowd

This is one of very few successful tech cos out there
Certainly, many have dropped out of the race. This could be one of those unique stocks that only true connoisseurs appreciate, demanding endurance and patience. I'm curious if the possible profit-taking might cause a temporary setback for us tomorrow or maybe we surge on!
very good day today, that's for sure.
I wish we had a few good traders here
I am ok to sell up to 5 per cent or so of my shares , after a big rally with the intention to buy back same shares after a profit take , and gradualist increase my holdings
I am tiers of being a pure holder , of course I risk seeeing the price rise higher without a chance to buy back cheaper
So if there are any other traders here please feel feee to share technical analysis
Hopefully Dark now range trades 500 to 600 p for the next 2 months until next results ?
