Ok. Based on that post you still truly believe CC will be inside every meter in India. Let's leave it there.
Well Colour in India CC is embedded in the 3 major meter cos and are capable of now performing all RF Cellular connections. Are you saying they only have a few embedded and are you saying INDORE are not using them for all connections. You may be correct but do you know and what else is in play there.
DYOR
Indian meter manufacturers will have been supplying smart units in India, and elsewhere, for a number of years. As we are seeing in the UK, these companies clearly have an in house solution to Comms. On the very rare occasion, and it seems really very rare, they will need to use a specialist method to get the meters talking. Even JC is tracking down his predicted numbers now. From his 25-30% a year ago, he's now accepting 7.5% as possible. Fact is he has no clue.
Well Colour I think in France it is the state company and they previously fitted the first lot, not sure.
I don't think India has millions installed, they would like to.
CC is installing in INDORE, JVVNL, Thailand and they are ready to expand at speed. Don't forget we supply the Comms not the meters, I think Wirepas is the same.
The point is India is just starting and it looks like CC is well in with the establishment. Who else do you know there.
DYOR
That is the massive unknown. What is known is India, and many other nations, now have Millions of smart meters installed and talking. As with UK, virtually the whole of France, and other huge swathes of Europe, these are being supplied, fitted and up and running with Comms in less than 2 hours. Now, what do you deduct from that?

Smart Comms in meters
You could the expert in this field Colour. Now that Anil is back to CC and not aligned to Wirepas who are the main suppliers of Smart Comms meters in/to India.
Apart from 2 very small, bespoke, niche contracts given in August last year, they have landed nothing. Let's not go down the Anil taking over the World route again. Picking up a volume one in his back yard will do. It is clear that Smarts are going in at some pace now in India, question is, what Comms are they using.
Had a thought about it last night, since the high of 29p CC slid on lack of updates to present level.
We now have £1.5m plus £5m short term income which Heather will probably collect in full as mainly guaranteed by manufacturers. So £6m to hand. Don't know if India is collected through CC India.
So we have Anil possibly dealing with say Africa, Egypt, Far East, Europe. If he goes via SEW he could open the ROW.
Thailand will be interesting, will he be joint with JST, will they get the MEA contract (4m units if all), will they make inroads into PEA (MEA x 5 in size) which I think is Itron territory.
Should get very good results this year, DYOR
Well Colour I recon he could see CC establishing itself and wanted back and JC recognised his sales capability and calculated it was betterto have him in his camp.
I feel that with all this rounding up of talent and the quality of the product that CC will take off and be Indian Smart Comms standard. It is not often that there is something that is 99.5% reliable and you can confidently leave a company to get on with it. You may not see it this way but if you were the CEO of a Utility that was constantly loosing money I think you would jump at it.
It came from Anil. He has confirmed he is now President Global Sales & Business Development at CyanConnode. His 2nd Tenure. No idea why this wasn't RNS'd ?
Thanks Colour..Interesting 4.2Kms, I missed that, where did that appear.
Anil, JC said it in video. Ref vertical.
If £5m. arrives shortly I think we will all be pleased.
DYOR
With CyanConnode achieving a range of 4.2Kms through regular RF nodes in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh; we have been able to reemphasize that Omnimesh architecture is the best solution for #SmartMetering in #India with best possible coverage of dense, hilly, agricultural & semi-urban areas.
Who told you he had rejoined tonyj?
Humble Pie is in play at consolidation plus 50%, 29p doesn't touch the sides old bean.
Rather Colour. Didn't you overlook it at 29p.
Incidentally whilst you on here what do you think of Anil rejoining the flock.
Seems to have bypassed Wirepas and will now be devoted to the success of CC.
Any updates on Triiliant yet. DYOR
nobody has mentioned Humble Pie for a while : )
DYOR lol
