Hi Nige,
You never know, when you read about our new CEO Mr Gilbert, he has the right experience.
"Mr. Gilbert is also an entrepreneur who has co-founded and invested in several businesses within the oil & gas sector, thus bringing to the Company invaluable experience in deal origination, M&A, and post-merger integration."
Sounds interesting for sure and could be hinting at a merger. Then when you read Mr Gilbert's comments he does make it sound like he's joining the company at the right time. He's excited about something.
Regards,
Ed.
Well guys AK is definately very positive about this company with the 99m purchase today ... this has to move up in the coming days ...GL
Hi Ed ,
Good post as always.
They mentioned M and A in Brazil, does that mean potential for a merger, or am I looking too deep into it?
Thanks Nige
Afternoon Nige,
I'm good, hope you are too! Yeah he's a very experienced guy and has an eye for some good assets (KON-11, KON-12 and KON-16). If Brazil is anywhere close to as good it will be very positive. Company has hinted at producing gas assets in Brazil. Now that we have the new appointment and Brazil getting a mention again, in combination of today's comments about advancing Angola and Brazil near term, things could get perky very quickly. A half decent producing asset in Brazil could see us quickly back over 1p again. If TO-13 flows probably a lot higher than that as the market is acting prematurely on Tobias testing so far.
Regards,
Ed.
Thanks toploadermike - I'll take that .... not as long as I was thinking to be fair...... but I tend to expect the worste then everything is a bonus :^)
My guess would be up to 3 more weeks.
Derry - you are far more patient than I :)
And on the subject of my lack of patience - does anyone feel confident enough to hazard an educated guess as to how many of the 'several' weeks we have left before the news we are waiting/hoping for?
The suspense is unbearable :^)
Finally lost patience with the unsubstantiated constant wave of negativity.
Congratulations Art, you have now joined the select few in my Green Bin.
Morning Ed,
Hope you are well.
Great appointment announced today and plenty of hints as to what is to come.
Thanks Nige
I see the ARTFULL dodger is still making useless comments with no substance ... go and put your head in a place the sun don't shine you idiot .... good luck to the genuine holders of CORCEL ... myself included ...even if we have had one or two set backs ....
Yeah, CRCL can always forget about the blocks in Angola - they just haven't worked out as planned - and head off across the South Atlantic to acquire some fantastic new assets in Brazil. Watch the share price fly.
"He knows the potential here and is getting in at the outset !"
Another totally inane post. Can't you read? The bloke - Scott Gilbert - was the co-founder of Apex, who were originally awarded the blocks in Angola which Apex sold on to Corcel. He was there before Corcel turned up to buy the blocks from Apex.
I bet EXT won't see that put option and those cheap shares as silly once they make further advancements in Angola and M&A in Brazil.
Regards,
Ed.
Don't blame me for the low share price - and even that is continually being 'bumped up' by the management with 'premium placings' and silly 'Put Option' transactions at over double the current share price.
I expected TO-14 to be a no-brainer and to flow multi-thousands of bopd alongside everyone else here. The no-flow result has been an absolute shocker, which has not been helped by the total inability of the BOD to accept that things haven't quite gone to plan.
RL,
Very true, seems like we are very close to some more exciting news:
"Lastly, we look forward to announcing further advancements at our operations in Angola and M&A activities in Brazil in the near term."
Sounds very interesting to see how the company transforms next. Mr Gilbert was responsible for getting the Angolan blocks for Apex so it'll be interesting to see what he secures in Brazil too. Apex are one of our main shareholders so should do well from any further acquisitions. I'm sure you are also looking forward to the further advancement of Angola too.
Regards,
Ed.
Great news imo . He knows the potential here and is getting in at the outset !
I did wonder how long it would take you to raise your head, predictable as we all as clueless.
Very big and expensive-looking BOD -- unless, of course, they have all agreed to work for zero salary (alongside agreeing to buy placing shares at a large premium to the current share price).
I believe that the 'very positive news' expected was concerning the flow rates of TO-14 which actually failed to materialise - so far at least.
Never mind they still have the option to head off across the South Atlantic and acquire some proper new assets in Brazil. Maybe that is where the unicorn is hiding.
Well a new CEO .... has to be good for the company, and must be expecting very positive news in the near future ...
Hi all,
Someone on Telegram has mentioned about how many shares are to b issued following sanction at the GM.
Is it for just nearly 300m shares taking the whole amount of shares in issue to slightly over 2bn or is it to sanction in addition a further 1bn shares for total funding taking the total number of shares to slightly over 3bn?

The spread on ii was fairly narrow all day.
Im hoping for at least 3 x that ! lol gla
Luke. Im half wishing it is a takeover vote. This is getting tedious tbh. Ive only got 1m shares which is peanuts to some here but anything the same as theyve agreed with Richard or above that will b fine for me. Id be happy with roughly 80% profit and dabble elsewhere!
