That Everactive story is well worth a read Tony. The fact that CPX will be part of their growth is great news but also the companies funding Everactive because of IoT which is going to be massive and CPX have got a real foothold with many other companies operating in this space. It really is very promising.
Interesting, Everactive's just done a third fundraise for the year last week with 3 well-known companies stumping up, all to push the tech

I trust AK has all that he needs now and be well-served by his crew. There's obviously one or two engineering geniuses in there. It's a bigger raise than the murata acquisition, wasn't it? Jeez, hope I'm living in the right universe.
I dont really think the directors have much choice when they can sell shares. They get certain windows that are not "closed" for director share sells and this was one of them .

if there is a takeover bid maybe the directors were asked to sell up as part of the deal.maybe they will have jobs in the new company and will be issued free shares .
Or maybe the II have been selling shares over the last few weeks a over 6p then replace them with shares they bought at 5.5.
My thoughts are that these two tweets below are relevant to each other and part of the 'plan' going forward. Increase production output as per todays rns... Increase news flow to service the fund raise and raise the share price to satisfy all participants and achieve a return on a near £3m investment. ....New business lining up on CPX's over flowing order book and increased use of IP in IOT/energy storage sectors etc and at some point a sale/merger with , say UCAP (the old Maxwell, who are seeking IP's for sectors and seeking to expand again) .. the broker notes re 15p / 16p regading current fair value for the sp will and are still very relevant and an mcap nearer £100m (aprox 15p+) will be a fairer assesment of the current expected value here, indeed more, closer to 20p, if /and or when any IP court case wins........ .let's see how well this message agaes over the next few months :-)

Fund raise for expansion, to service an over flowing order book and new lines of business, so no negatives imo....fully expect some consistent news flow over coming weeks to service the raise and placees start, as near as dammit, in the same place as everyone else ..

on going IP case & is CPX a target for takeover or merger now by UCAP (formerly Maxwell) ?..CPX have a host of IP's for the capacitor/IOT/energy storage industry & a new production line...
Morning TD. The new investors will want to see a healthy roi from 5.5p and like Surprised says , everyone is starting from the same position more or less. Be interesting to see over the next few weeks who the new investors are. Now let’s get on with business and making some money !!
Surprised, let’s cross fingers we get some good updates then “shortly”.
Hi TD, by expansion I mean compared to cpx capabilities currently to maximise the existing production line. We knew it was not at capacity despite an ever increasing order book etc so I see your point about further capex etc however it will expand what they are doing currently.....the placees will be in at 5.5p to get a return the sp will need to motor from here, or why put a few million quid to work in cpx ? So some regular and substantial news flow will be the order of the day to lift the sp and provide all participants the opportunity of a return, ...at about the same price everyone else can buy at currently .
Think you'll find the 3v package is the driver here
Surprised, where did you read expansion ?
I only see cash which will be used for feeding the sales force and lawyers.
I do not see any capex expansion plans: there is no invest in additional capacity, which means line is not fully utilized. This also clarifies the additional sales activities.
Or will we see in 3 months the next RNS with the next shares to fund an additional line because the sales team did do such a good job ?
I only see dilution after dilution for long term holders... not good
Yes, looks good to me too. Also, no warrants included in the placing.

Some very large buys later after the RNS too ….;)
Yep suits me fine ! Cenkoa had placing written all over it but to them it's a win win as they have a ready-made book to build also! Simple math should have told most that @ 150% + order book which has been reported 8/9 months now would lead to a cash crunch & tbh I thought they'd look for more so very encouraged ! Foot is on the plate
Yep James. All aboard!

"The commissioning of the fourth production line, the DMH line, is still planned for the latter half of 2021, with production expected to start in early 2022 as time and resources allow and subject to customer demand."
"DMH is a thin (0.4mm) supercapacitor for use in smartphones, smart credit cards, wearables, 3V coin cell battery applications and other very thin IoT applications."

oki doki. placing was on the cards, however, so was a loan, they chose placing, cenkoshave the iii's etc to rasie the dosh, it's all for expansion and to service the over flowing order book and new business that is being lined up, so no negatives, it's far from a 'lights on raise', and importantly the placees start in the same place as near as dammit as everyone ekse down here 5.5p to 6p area, so no great advantage to them in reality......so we can expect some news flow, logic suggests, to get this raise out the way and the sp to be free running once again....the broker valuations will still hold good , maybe more so as we can now start to service more orders etc ......short term blip, only :-)
Exactly Albert, most saw this raise coming. It’s time now to embrace it and board the night train :)
This raise is good in my opinion and I was expecting it to happen at some point. It means that there is a market demand for this class of supercap. Wasn't it linked with the global smart phone manufacturer? In fact, in light of this RNS I am very positive. I will be topping up.
