placing/overhang or pre takeover or something like it, don’t know but things not normal here whatever anyone says.
This should be valued higher on Atomic alone. Some nonsense is going on 100%
Me too. Anguss.
Would love to know what the hell is going on with this share price
Currently 33p to buy, bounced off here a couple of times last week
All have a good day the share price is just a farce. Not going to look as much this week complete jokem
MMS pretty keen to take this down on no volume. May be searching for buyers, usual shenanigans. Blue finish?
Morning AJEP,
For a find that covers multiple licences, I've assumed the unitisation rules mean that COPL get whatever % is above our land (85%). If the adjoining license isn't taken, you'd hope that we'd picked that up urgently, prior to announcement and hold it independently from the rest of the unit operating agreement for Baron Flats Fed Deep.
And for the WI, we have 100% of _this_ drill, because nobody else contributed. But I doubt that would remain the case for the whole thing, so for prudence I've used the worst-case scenario. According to the prospectus (page 18), we have 55.56% WI in BFFD.
So my formula currently uses 85%, 55.56% and then your choice of recovery factors, oip price, etc.

“Because oil and gas are fluids, they may flow in the subsurface across property boundaries. In this way, an operator may permissibly extract oil and gas from beneath the land of another, if the extraction is lawfully conducted on his own property.[1] An operator may not angle a well to penetrate beneath property not owned by or leased to him.”
Morning FS
I would be happy to adapt the spreadsheet and agree they are not in. My understanding though was we potentially had 100% WI due to the CNOOC but can adjust downwards (15%?). Equally, my understanding was that an oil basin was treated as one whole entity independent of the land ownership above it once identified.
Again, I can do the maths but if anyone has some figures for me to pop into the formulas than I will run them and post
What is the reasonable WI off this
Do we have rights to the whole discovery even if a proportion is under the land of another company. Interestingly I also understood that adjacent lands had not yet had allocated permits and Art would therefore seek these permits.
As indicated share your thoughts and I will adjust accordingly to fine tune the formula and seek a more reliable set of numbers.
Have a good day
lets hope for great rns at 7am to start the week with :-)
Looks like a change if PM seems very likely. U winder how this will affect the energy landscape.!
Maybe not at all. But a volatile sutuation on the cards???
I would like 2buy is there any stock left to buy or do I wait to next week,? My mate says it's a good investment
Decide if you’d rather be in or out and act accordingly
YM that really made me chuckle. :-)
Should be up and away next week to much going on for this share not to
Whatever the SP opens at tomorrow there will be lots of pointless posts as usual.
Hey AJEP, was looking at your valuations from this afternoon. I don’t think you took into account that not all of the oil is under our land, nor that we don’t have 100% WI in BF Fed Deep?
I mean, the number are still crazy, but accuracy is more important than precision here :)
When do we hear about CUDA?
It’s normal that on a Monday morning, after a week end of ramping more than often go down, so I would say it will at 32p.
COPL I should say - an increasingly interested child who thinks profit will seep through to them…. Rolls eyes
Historic similarities
31st May 2009 $0.20
31st July 2009 $2.52
Didn't Canada close at 38p so should be looking at up to 3p as a starter hopefully

:-))
Yeah me too, I've got a good feeling the share price will go up tomorrow, or down. There's a chance it might stay the same but that's usually rare with this share
Probably nothing but I really sense a change of sentiment and a widening exposure and belief that could and should snowball starting this week…
I am hopeful of £1 by Friday once this starts rolling - RNS or not
