“Our aspiration is to create medical flight simulation, and we feel pretty bullish about the capability of being able to do that with FundamentalVR.” – Paul Khait, Head of Global Market Enablement, Philips
We aim to accelerate product adoption and roll-out using cutting-edge immersive VR Interventional and surgical training solutions, relying on data-driven AI and ML insights collated on the FundamentalVR platform to guide our implementation strategy. How we approach interventional and surgical training needs to evolve with the technological advancements available today, and working with FundamentalVR has allowed Philips to capitalize on this emerging technology.
By democratizing education, the learning curve is shortened, leading to quicker product adoption. Philips is focused on creating clinical and technical proficiency, bringing medical training up to par with flight simulation training by understanding the potential VR offers to upskill interventional physicians and surgeons.
“When we are in a cath lab speaking to a physician, the physician doesn’t care what business unit you’re in. They have a patient on the table, the patient has heart disease, they have to do the procedure, and what they are expecting from us at Philips is support with their clinical workflow… they want us to figure out how to support it, how to train for it, how to service it… So for us, from an educational standpoint, we look at it the same way… We want to create that end-to-end clinical workflow experience.”

VR is now becoming a part of interventional and surgical education curricula, and Philips has recognized the need for robust change in business practices to keep pace with the changing technology landscape. FundamentalVR and Philips are bridging the gap between industry standards and the future of immersive VR, revolutionizing interventional and surgical proficiency and advancing patient care around the globe.

Wyld Networks partners with leading Canadian agricultural company UKKO Agro to implement Wyld Connect in Brazil
Virtual satellite operator Wyld Networks will deliver satellite IoT data for UKKO Agro, initially in Brazil to bring the work of agricultural research to agroinput retailers, farmers, agronomists and agricultural consultants working on data research.
UKKO Agro's vision is to connect every action on the farm to its financial performance, enabling retailers and farmers to make more informed and data-driven decisions.
UKKO Agro is a leading agrotechnology company, dedicated to providing customised, integrated and actionable insights from digitised hectares to agricultural retailers and their grower customers.
UKKO Agro's proprietary Field-Adapted and Integrated Modelling (F.A.I.M) Platform - ForeSite™ - delivers field-specific information up to 14 days in advance and suggests where and when to use high-value insecticides and fungicides.
ForeSite™ uses sophisticated digital data collection and staking technology, proprietary algorithms, and modeling to mitigate risk and help farmers get the highest return possible from their staking investments. Data collection is limited by connectivity issues across large parts of Brazil's agricultural land. Wyld Networks will provide sensor-to-satellite connectivity capability to enable UKKO Agro to collect data in remote locations.
We are excited to begin this important partnership with UKKO Agro, a leading data-driven agrotech company with global reach," said Alastair Williamson. "Wyld Networks will initially connect IoT data via satellites in low orbit to drive decision-making in Brazilian agriculture."

London, UK, and San Ramon, California, USA — June 27, 2023 — Device Authority today announced it has won the Rising Azure Technology 2023 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
Device Authority CEO, Darron Antill commented, “We are delighted that Keyscaler-as-a-service (KsaaS), our cloud-first approach to automated end-to-end device security has been recognized with this award. With today’s global supply chains increasingly relying on interconnected devices and the relaying of timely data to Artificial Intelligence systems, trust in devices has never been more important. Because these devices are often located outside of the secured network environment, they’ve become a target for bad actors, and a single disruption to a production line can cost an organization up to 5% of its annual profits.

I wonder whether any of the Darktrace money might come Tern's way as ex-Darktrace shareholders look for a way in to the next Darktrace type valuation event in the same sector. Therefore The DA summit with the potential of a blockbuster solution being released prior to the event is coming at just the right time to make people aware, keep the fingers crossed that Tern release a RNS or two prior to this event

Wyld Networks receives first revenue-generating satellite IoT data from Namibia in Africa
Virtual satellite operator Wyld Networks has received its first revenue-generating satellite IoT data from Namibia in Africa.
This is done in collaboration with a South African agritech company that installs moisture sensors in the ground to optimize irrigation and automate agricultural scheduling systems.
"Wirelessly connected agritech sensors deliver qualitative data to provide farmers and agronomists with the granularity they need to make informed decisions and increase efficiency," said Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks. "Especially relevant in regions where cellular connectivity isn't always available."
