Results used to be mid April. miles brought in the account he worked with in his old company. It was only an accountancy issue delayed results last year and subsequent changes of auditors made it late June. All looking ship shape spic and span now. 96p should be good for now. Will be interesting to see if US contracts about to flow in and also Sunaks announcement on defence budget increase to 2030. Lord Lee said cnc would become a household name in a few years. Miles is one of the most driven CEOs I have come across, and no BS!
Early results too? Mid to late June usually!
96-98 today I’d say
A company that actually does something
Looking good. Presentation and results next week
Rhea extends the life of VME computers in which Cnc is involved in for 20 years. This a as a result off requests from the customers in the defence sector who are finding it hard to source components. Presumably they had enough requests to make it worth while. Whether it’s an obligation or a money spinner is hard to say. Perhaps not just out of the goodness of their hearts but also a security concern . Anyway a flurry of Pi activity first thing this morning. Fomo on something big?
Any idea of the anticipated revenue for this product? I see the whole market numbers but this company specifically?
Looks good news
Thanks T-raider. Yes Lord Lee is a great patriot. Amongst many other things he used to be an advisor on defence to the government which I always felt was quite handy. Dont know what the last blip was about. Another fund manager throwing away client money probably.
Google ‘IC CNC Podcast Lord Lee’… watch via youtube. Informative and positive 40 min interview.
These so called ‘professional ‘ research sites never seem able to keep up with events. Stickopedia ( who charge a basic £250 for just uk stocks) are so slow. They still have last years revenue of £18 million , when they latest actual information suggests revenue of 30 million. Lse cant even get RNS flowing. Its no wonder the uk is still in the doldrums compared to other markets. It seems to me we will continue to rely on takeovers to realise value in uk , which of course means selling GB on the cheap, just like Gordon Brown did when he sold off our gold reserves at €250 an ounce. The genius economist!
Expecting a big hike in revenue already upgraded and now another key appointment . This is getting seriously interesting. No doubt the dosey market will acknowledge in their own good time
90p in quick time I think
They were heading there anyway
Positive article on CNC if not the state of the world !
Long term buy.

News flow just keeps flowing. Attendance by CNC at embedded tech forum in USA and news of ‘TNS’ for vehicle architecture’
And now tipped by Gervais at Premier Miton, long term holders, if somewhat reduced. Perhaps they will load up again!
Seems to have caught Paul Scott’s attention on Stockopedia at long last. Having appeared to be rather disinterested in recent years and the data they have is well of date, the positive update caught his eye fleetingly. What ever you think of his views there can be no doubt they carry some influence on the private investor and of course he is a very competent numbers man
concurrent technologies plc - essex, england-based computer board manufacturer - expects revenue for 2023 to be 5% ahead of cavendish capital markets ltd expectations of gbp29.5 million, based on its unaudited management accounts. says adjusted pretax profit will also come up "slightly ahead" of cavendish's gbp3.5 million expectations. this would make 2023 a "record year" for concurrent, with revenue increasing from gbp18.3 million in 2022.
chief executive officer miles ad**** said: "this has been another outstanding year for concurrent technologies delivering a record financial performance even after meaningful investment for growth in the cost base. our success has been fuelled by significant design-in wins, new product releases and investment made in the systems business."
Absolutely a very disapppointing reaction for a great update!
maybe its a bad market day?
i hope this goes to 90 in coming days, becasue thats where this belongs
How do you get a result like that and the stock goes down
Its unfathomable
This wasn’t priced in
Utterly pathetic response to great results. Well done Miles and team. Shows how screwed the market is right now. As usual the uk market is the most pathetic. Sadly I think we will eventually loose many of our best companies either to the USA where many operate a high percentage of their business or they just get bought out on the cheap by American investment companies
Must be heading there
This makes FY23 a record year, with revenue in excess of £30m compared to £18.3m in FY22 and record profitability
New year results due and increased activity I feel
Maybe some early signs
Tally ho, chocks away!
Good to see another decent contract win. Not massive in monetary terms, but further demonstrates the positive momentum and ability to deliver. 2024 should shape up to be a very positive year with the US acquisition set to play an important role.
Interesting timing by Lion trust to offload their entire holding. This is why I don’t by trusts anymore. Can’t be trusted
Very skilled. In fact couldn’t have got a better team together at just the right time. Lord Lee believes this company will become a household name in a couple of years. Not sure how many people have tanks and other sophisticated all terrain equipment in their garage but I get the sentiment!
