May I please suggest people ignore 'attention seeking and unhappy' confu. It is sad to see a grown adult in dire need of some form of attention. We are all mature serious investors please seek attention elsewhere. Nice to see a small rise but it may go up and down next few days and weeks, until news is out.
Yes Risendshine, you are better off because you've gained at the expense of some poor mug who thought he was investing in a proper company. What's the weather like over there in Clontarf Road ? Tell Bridges to pass the biscuits and not be a greedy sod all the time.
P.S. yes Ghana will only deal with reputable companies and I will only listen to reputable posters :)
"The agreement is being sent to the Ghana Govt for ratification." The first time that was said was in or around 2010. It resurfaces every six months or so and more suckers are pulled in. A reasonable conclusion could be that (a) there was a hole in the postman's bag (b) it's still in the secretary's handbag (c) the dog ate it or (d) nobody in the Ghana Government can read english. Maybe someone will read it in 2020 or 2021 or 2022.
Yes, I will gladly add my voice to that and say that, yes, the evidence is out there but I don't know of one bit of that evidence that came from Confu to back all the things he has been saying....I would be financially worse off if I had listened to his defamatory and I think rather vengeful remarks :)
I wouldn’t listen to a word Confu says, it’s all hear say unsubstantiated defamatory remarks. The fact of the matter is the artical you linked is correct and ratification of the SIGNED PA is with parliament due for ratification. As with Exxon this could happen in one or two days.
Confu -
I actually heard the opposite: https://www.offshore-mag.com/regional-reports/article/14040329/clontarf-in-talks-on-offshore-ghana-license-positions
Do you have anything to prove your statement?
"It all hinges on Tano ratification" Lots of different hopeful opinions here from lots of wishful thinkers. Here's a fact. The Ghana Government will not deal with Clontarf. They will only deal with solid reputable companies. They will not give a licence to Clontarf. No amount of wishful thinking will change that fact. People should do some research. All the info is out there.
Bottom seems to be around 0.8 and currently struggling to rise higher that 1.0 It all hinges on the expected news on Tano ratification. When the news is thought imminent it rises (highest lately has been 1.95) and if no news arrives it falls again. It's all about timing if you are in for the short term but many are staying in so as not to get caught out if and when the news arrives, which as you will know is going to be explosive! :)
Yes Amers you are right. 10P in the first instance would be a good start.
Good question! The RNS from 2nd Oct. (pasted in below for convenience) shows what interest the BOD has in the SP going north! :)

Lets not worry about buy out, I like to see this around 10p 1st
I HEAR YOU riseandshine. Greed is one thing but also the unpredictability of this environment is something that 'blurs the eyes' from what is a bad or good decision as everything involved risk. We are hearing number possible number of a rise to 5p, 10p and possible upwards trend of 90p but based on predictions and subject to many complex factors. Would Clon let it rise to 90p or would they want to buy people out before for a much lower figure and profit themselves? Touch call but we all have hope that loyal long term investors can benefit.
and back to previous highs
