Thanks free share I sold part of it to keep the rest but as I got spiked I sold the rest to average down, hopefully I’ll be back in here very soon!
Sam I hope it works out for you as you seam like a nice person. But always stick to your research I've made losses long enough to learn from them. You sell all your holding?/
Massiveray I think I’ve made a mistake I thought COPL would fly now the dispute is resolved so went all in over there hoping for a quick rise to get my capital back at an SP of 0.89p to then move back here with more shares but it’s dropped every day since I bought so now locked in, selfishly I hope news doesn’t drop here before I’ve got back in but if it does all you guys deserve it and I shouldn’t of gone rainbow chasing again, I know Tiburn is in COPL too so that gives me some hope over there lol I can’t afford the loss so am waiting it out ideally until 0.89p then loading up here
if we get ratification it will fly way beyond 2p.
Its obviously not for you Harry, so good luck elsewhere...
I'm happy to hold.
Thanks for your honesty Harry and I fully respect that you have to do what you feel is right for you; well done in that respect and I wish you well in whatever course you decide; the thought of having this chat over a pint sounds like an oasis in the dessert!! :)
Harry what I’d do is even if you keep a very small holding if you don’t fully believe in it that you could afford to lose as if this goes the way tiburn, bridges and all are expecting this is going to at least 5p plus so even a small holding of £500 could be £5000, at the end of the day it’s upto you but I can tell you from my experience with EUA I felt physically sick and said only if I had a year and a half’s patience and not panic at every little drop! GL at whatever you decide I personally want this to be my first 10 plus bagger what I have said to myself at 2p I’m taking my initial investment out and then going to be on the ride until 10p whatever happens
Morning Rise, I fully agree with your point regarding that the article is applicable to absolutely any business in Ghana, just as Any article about a rise in COVID related infections and deaths in any country would be applicable to most businesses in that country. I’m only ‘still here’ to see if I made the right call in selling. If I hadn’t sold on Friday, I would have this morning in light of the COVID article. It’s a shame that we all have to sit at a computer and write these messages rather than being able to discuss at a pub over a pint. You’d then see that this genuinely isn’t a deramp as I have no intention of buying into any stock, in any sector, until I feel confident that anything to do with COVID wouldn’t affect my position. I wish I had the bottle to do it - I could have sold half and left the other half (my profit from other shares) in here as effectively £2500 of free shares and told myself, that if it falls, so what, you’re not ‘down’ on your investment but I would have been ‘down’ by losing that profit and the fear of seeing that drop was too great.......but you know I’ll be sick if it goes to 2p, ha!! GL Rise, Sam, Tiburn etc.....
Dito Sam :)
Harry the thing is 2000% on a £5000 investment is £100k please find me another share that has this potential over the next year and I’ll look into it and consider selling here, that for me is life changing but yeah if I lose £2500 I would be very gutted but it’s not the end of the world at the end of the day, I looked back the other day at my share history and at one point I held 1 million shares in EUA today that would be worth £190k and there still expecting it to at least bag from here so talking about £400-500k plus possibly even £1m that is what you call gutting especially for someone like me who doesn’t have a lot of money as it is as that’s life changing, I’m hoping buying in here I’m in low enough to see those kinds of returns percentage wise, thanks to the researchers that post useful links on here like risendshine, tiburn, bridges and Massiveray.
Until my view changes I’m not selling one share unless I have to for any reason
Harry thank you, I see more potential than downside here if I’m honest after doing all my research but if you even say a fall of 30% or a rise of 2000% (10-12p on drilling) which to you is more likely and would benefit you more, I was 20% down here for like a month or so before I finally seen blue, this is a waiting game now and will come to those who are patient I believe, soon enough we’ll find out
Hi Harry, when I first read your post I was alarmed enough to go and read it asap to see if it influenced my future decisions here. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed in your approach. I could take that article you have referred to and posted on just about any business relating to Ghana and also the Ghana situation the article refers to could be reported in any country. I can't find anything in there that related directly to Clon or even directly to the oil and gas industry. I know you point out that those who are invested here will be blinkered a bit and I agree. However, we need to acknowledge also that when we sell we swap those blinkers for a pair which are focussed on the opposite side. You may now be seeing things through the hopeful lens of justifying your exit strategy....otherwise, why are you still here?? I don't mean to offend but just being realistic and I am not going to be influenced by what you have posted :) GL
Disregard- they’re on now
I’ve posted 2 replies to your point Sam and neither has come up on here? Trying to see if this one works
