@Ashstash...just jesting mate... I know what u mean
@Bladey haha I'm not that bad seriously. Or maybe I am haha. I'm so glad to be invested here. Some seem to bash the share if it doesn't rise as they think it should, or get overly sensitive if it falls 'badly'. It's definitely a learning game for most. I'm in profit so have nothing to complain about for now
Crumpets, that's exactly what I think and you've said it well. Difference with me is that people think I'm just being negative for the sake of it. All I'm doing is painting my own picture and no one else's. As you said, £1 is at this stage is amazing and I'm not being unrealistic and over eager about sharp rises. All in time we hope
Nicely said Crumpets I agree with what you say. I understand the odd lapse of control as I get it myself but when you read things like this you then realise why you invested in the first place.
As FI said 50 heads are better than one.

Seems to be some impatience going on for a few.
Everyone has their own targets but to expect serious movement at this moment in time is odd, I think.
Although there's plenty of good news for the long term, it's exactly that - a long term-ish hold.
The fast money was to be made in the 20p-50p range.
At the moment, we have just a handful of cinemas open and no serious revenue.
Yes, markets are forwarded thinking but for major increases in sp, i think we'll have to wait (sarcastic voice) a whopping six months for the half year results.
I think £1 for the position we're in and after the battering we've taken is amazing.
By the time October's results are out (although i expect a month's delay to accommodate Bond), capacities should be at 100%, there'll have been a solid slate of massive movies out, the Cineplex case will have been finalised and the financials should illustrate that big profits will return.
In my opinion, we'll see a gradual increase in sp as we open more sites and the box office numbers start demonstrating an obvious and sustained demand for theatrical release.
For those who've come into Cine recently, I still believe anything under £1.20 is a bargain.
Just sit tight and wait it out for six months to a year for the ISA beating percentage gains.
Chill, dudes.
Fun,
I don’t think any of us would claim to be experts. What great about this board is that we’re all learning and trying to help each other. It’s David vs Goliath as far as Private Investors are concerned and when you’re feeling unsure 50 heads are better than one.
@Ashstash, mate you remind me of that Robot form "Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy"..... "Life??... Don't talk to me about about life!"
lol
News DOES move this and other share prices.
Just because the movement on a particular day is not as much or different direction from "expected" doesn't mean the news hasn't influenced the price.
There are other factors happening alongside news regularly and they may have a varying degree of muting the news movement.
Supply and demand with the influence one large buyer or seller can have on ANY "product" should never be underestimated.
Now if and when we are regularly seeing strong volume of this share traded daily let's see what happens then.
Look at last week or twos volume daily AGAIN and maybe that will clear the picture for some.
All only in my opinion off course (already more than enough "experts" here :-)
That's fine. I'm not here to please anyone. Just expressing my opinion like everyone else does. I may be, but at least I'm not fooling myself. I can keep holding and just hope the sp does well. Knowing how this share has been moving around, it's easy to get too negative (i.e. saying the sp will fall) or too positive
Has been for a few weeks...As I pointed out ..
:-)
you have to be the most negative holder surely? :P
I'll be well out of this share by then unless it's closer to £2 this year, which I doubt
Ashtash all we need to know is that after 2022 fy results the SP will be looking a lot healthier :P
Why do people think all news means the sp must move either up or down. Seriously, it takes more than just a piece of news to swing the sp. No one knows why the sp is falling, but one thing I do know is not to expect rises just because other people think it should rise
Number, It seems counter-intuitive but if you are a big buyer and you ring your broker who just happens to work for one of the big Investment banks and you say ‘I’d like X million Cine shares but I’m not prepared to pay more than £1’ .... guess what?
‘I’m sure we can arrange that Sir, for a fee’
Be patient, let them fill their orders and then we will fly.
If this was good news why does the price go down? I see its a bad day for a lot of companies but i confused.com. Anyone explain?
RNS was very clear and it says GM was for bond issuance and without hiccups 98% voted for it.
Some idiots were spreading fears for nothing. Hope no one sold out listening to people like Alex and others.
All good here. More cinemas opening on April 23rd!
Let the re-rate begin please.
105p close today would be nice. ATB
Sure was, seemed touch and go to me. lol
Let's hope we start to rise a bit now especially as the stop losses have kicked in.
Come on Cine onwards
