Probably analagous to how Spotify and the like share fixed subscriptions with artists/ rights holder based on number of plays and some weighting for what's considered premium content.
They may well have an agreed separate calculation with studios based on historical collated data. Says xx card holders at point in time and average holder visits xx times per month on average therefore xx£p per unlimited holder in attendance goes to that relevant film.
Guess it's something only Cineworld and studios really know.
Thanks, will try that site FI
Crumb....don't see that info being easy to find.
Won't the numbers be just 'bum's on seats'?

Something I have thought about myself Crumpets, but no answers.
Well I was more thinking from the fact of cinemas having a percentage with each studio to give as their cut of the take.
Obviously Cineworld IT and till systems will have all the detail, but in effect won't know until end each month.
The reality is it is still a small percentage of total take.
Any ideas on how Unlimited Cards are factored into box office takings?
Say I go to see F9 tomorrow on my card, I'm paying nothing on the day but I am on my annual / monthly fee.
How do they work out how much of my monthly / annual fee goes towards F9's (Universal's) box office take?

I have also been looking for u.s pig, however im pretty sure the papers will tell us roughly how we are doing ,they might not get the exact figures right but tend to be correct if it's a record breaker etc
Box office Mojo seems to give decent coverage.

For UK only though. Haven't found a US site, but I'm sure there's one
“As mentioned above, Fast & Furious 9 is already out in certain parts of the world, but it'll finally arrive in UK cinemas on June 24 and US cinemas on June 25. “

So then, the next few days will be a very important barometer as to how many are going back to the cinema in UK & US.
Does anyone have a good website that I can go to to see the takings over the weekend?
