No chance he’s going anywhere. The plan is clear. GM called, directors voted out, Callum reinstated, increase in share price.
I seriously doubt anyone will be willing to employ him whilst he's under investigation so I don't think he'll be leaving. He could when it's over and he's found innocent.
I’m worried that Callum may go and seek employment elsewhere the longer this farce goes on. Or a competitor snaps him up. Headhunters will be aware of his availability.
None of that is happening. It's all pretty simple i'd say. US is poor and has been for years - JS has been funding the company and is fed up with how useless the US side as Callum pushes the UK forward at breakneck speed.
The US side and shareholding of the BOD has meant no one could do much about them sitting on their asses getting paid for it. Looks like JS has had enough and now after sticking in millions and having a majority shareholding he has decided to make some moves to streamline the company for the better for all shareholders! Won't be long and the US guys who have wasted millions and millions of shareholder cash will be removed! I'm happy to buy, hold and vote them out!
What are the chances of price suppression for a takeover or taking it private? The news for removal of CEO and suspension at a time when the price was recovering....does that constitute of share manipulation? UK gov ban on purchase of cigarettes for younger generation wouldn't that make Chll a bargain for big Tobacco company which now they need to look at other way to hook up these ppl with?! Only time would tell I guess...
Whilst I’m at it. What heavyweight CEO would be attracted to work at Chill? Nowt. Knowing that you’re just a puppet for Russo & Taylor & Co with the threat of being ousted at anytime if you don’t toe the line. Unless we get Callum back this share is done for. I am very worried that my holding will be worthless
Agreed. Time is of the essence i am seeing my investment going down each day whilst this spurious investigation takes place. I want a timeline and PDQ. Ideally I want Callum reinstated to restore the status quo.
With Swann increasing his shareholding and trying to get his people on the board I can definitely see a hostile takeover in the near future, shame what the other two directors have done with Callum as he was finally leading the company in the right direction.
Clear timelines are often hard to give during ongoing investigations, however the more information they provide to shareholders the better. Callum needs to be reinstated to stabilise the companies SP and restore shareholder confidence. Investors are going to have a hard time trusting the company with Antonio and Trevor around so action need to be taken to get them dismissed and replaced, preferably the sooner the better.
Am I being unreasonable in expecting the company to give Shareholders an approximate timescale for the investigation to be completed? Investigations over the years have ranged from a few days to 2 or 3 years. As I said, an approximate timescale is not asking too much. Shareholders can then choose whether to buy, sell or hold our Shares. After all, we are the "customer".
Oppenheimer does have a clear agenda with statements suggesting that bagel land is around the corner. Whilst this is not completely out the picture, i don't think this is possible if callum is reinstated in the near future. In fact it will be interesting to see how far the SP jumps if he comes back soon. Despite the negativity/speculation surrounding Chill Brands, i remain very bullish for the year end. Will be increasing my skin in the game quite soon.
Unfortunately with some of Oppenheimer statements especially inhis last statement does have some bearing.
If a supplier is involved in negative activities, such as accusations of insider trading, the supermarket will conduct thorough due diligence to determine if the supplier poses a liability to their brand, and if so, they will terminate the relationship. However, seeking revenge in this manner seems poorly planned.
And furthermore, nobody here is bothered about YOU !!
I'm not bothered about Callum or Trevor or Roger or Bart being reinstated.
The issue is NONE of us know what they were doing to warrant these actions. Were they shorting? Were they lying? Were pumping?
Nobody knows anything.
On top of that you have massive brands like Morrisons who will be brought negatively down for conducting business with a potentially fraudulent group of leaders.
On top of that we have no idea how what they did has impacted sales or the numbers.
This is going down to the ground. No doubt about it. Restoring credibility is not an overnight thing.
Being back Callum doesn't do nothing Until it's is made clear what these leaders did and how it impacted the company
Everyone can see your agenda Opi.
I do hope you get caught out by a surprise RNS informing us that Trevor and Antonio are leaving and Callum is reinstated.
Michael Jackson is dead
Great investigation, only 4 days late 😂 were you on a ban opi

1p when the next RNS hits
Thanks, hopefully very soon
There is no IF on the GM it will be a when.
Thanks, if we can get that GM arranged, Swann’s vote approved and Callum back in, this could absolutely fly
I would imagine the GM called will be soon
Hard to say... I suppose the situation could take a while to resolve. The market seems to be in a holding pattern though...
Agree Bellers, Swanns' interests are very much aligned with ours which is why I am confident shareholders will be happy with the outcome. Callum will be back, it's just a matter of time.
Anyone have an idea on timescales for this fiasco being resolved or could it rumble on for months?
