"You remind me of when I was younger and didn't know as much"
you remind me of pre-puberty and the lack of maturity
this is about your stupid level of interaction ...enjoy !
Poker... you can add ‘patronising prick’ to that list of midoow’s adorable features !!
You remind me of when I was younger and didn't know as much
"what a angry man"
angry : a feeling or showing strong annoyance, displeasure
yes..you are just being ridiculous and showing yourself to be ridiculous
hostility...no...
what a angry man
mitdoow
you are clearly a bit of a k*nobhead ....
we are talking about "overall" numbers of customers ...not no customers at all....what a d*ick
Johan Lundgren was not concerned when his fleet was grounded and is not concerned now his company can not get customers back in the sky
card factory nearly at my entry price now so i will be back in here soon x
mitdoow
don't worry yourself over what I am or am not interested in.....focus on your own areas of importance
Companies like Tesco, Easyjet etc don't get too concerned about the overall numbers of customers...they are more concerned about average basket revenue and revenue per seat .....they would actually far rather obtain more revenue from fewer customers than the opposite ...as the opposite is more costly for them to operate
In terms of "noise" ... it tends to create speculative share price movements , but..what matters is the balance sheet numbers ....
For a group like CARD fewer customers spending more each, ..in their stores, is likely to be far better than the opposite scenario ...and..if that materialises ongoing ..then it would make the "click and collect" function easier to operate...
poker
the number of customer dose not bother you, lets take them all away then
how does the balance sheet look now
and as for the noise you get good noise and bad noise both can push price up or down
You often get a better "feel" for a business by simply being a customer and watching other customers behaviour. People are slowly returning to stores and no doubt stocking with cards etc. for birthdays anniversaries etc. coming up over the next two to three months. Some will be getting Christmas cards but the main rush for those will not start until mid to late November depending whether or not you are in a locked down area. The biggest risk I see is that some people will get out of the habit of sending cards.
"that was before covid 19 they had started to lose customers"
The number of customers doesnt interest me ....I am only interested in balance sheet figures and the relationship with the share price....the rest is just "noise"
dont think so poker have a look at last years results
that was before covid 19 they had started to lose customers
i cant see this xmas being any better
i have done my home work for the last 45 yrs in this game and have opinions they not always right but im allowed to have them
x
" i dont have time to stand out side shops and count just look as i pass"
dont you just love it...such an extensive and highly sophisticated piece of research.....to which you then "see" a future share price ...
" Better than expected trading in stores since reopening, with transaction numbers continuing on an improving trend since the period end and material average basket value gains which are holding steady, with LFL down only 6.9% for the 4 weeks to 20 September 2020 "
" Reduced high street footfall has weighed on transaction volumes, down 30%, but customers are spending more in store with a 24% increase in average basket value."
Volumes traded daily are pretty small really ...to get down to 30-32p you are going to need an awful lot more selling..and a "fear" reason for it....
plenty of "fear" out there already and yet there is little sign of panic selling here , at present ...
I would imagine many people are now buying their Christmas cards now that need to be sent abroad....
Once a vaccine starts to appear and vaccinations start and mobility restrictions ease ...then I am sure there will be plenty of parties during 2021 to celebrate that fact...
Grimrip44
you have your opinion i have mine
and who is doing all the waffling
stop getting upset
watch and learn
@mitdoow
All waffle and in your opinion... what you actually trying to say is you would like to get back in at 30-32p, but there is little chance of the SP ever going that low again... so if you pop on this BB and start ‘waffling’ think you know it all, it may dip to the levels you want!?
Guess what.... it ain’t gonna happen! Run up to Xmas this is only going one way... I would suggest you get your finger out before it’s up at the 40-42p level!
i can see this at 30-32p before xmas that is the time to buy
im here to make money not to give it away
i dont have time to stand out side shops and count just look as i pass not like it was
and the share price shows this
ive bought into these shares and sold for 32% profit and will buy again when time is right and that time is not now
this share will profit if bought at right time and price but that is not now
the share price backs up my evidence not your dreams
Absolute rubbish! Nothing more to add...
Mitdoow,
Which town do you live in to say the shops are all empty?
How long did you observe the shops for and on what days?
To analyse properly you need to check the volume of clients going in and out over several time periods i.e. during the day ahand at the weekend as well as in different towns and cities. Did you do this? Because they stated that Sept sales were only down 7% from previous year. So please back up your statements with stronger evidence instead of making unqualified blank statements on this panel.
you should all have sold out a 50p will not reach this again for some time shops are empty
I sold out at the end of June on the news of the CEO departure and because I needed the cash to invest elsewhere. Im back in today and can't believe the current sp. They need to get a move on with appointing a new CEO and get click and collect running on their site. I ordered from them this week and the online offering is good and the personalised cards are great value but they have to get click and collect up and running to differentiate between the online only sellers.
Hopefully this is close to the bottom.
