Now the governance RNS is out the way now lets see the company concentrate on running their business without responding to every bit of crap that comes their way. They are not insolvent and are making money so leave the share price manipulation investigation to the FCA etc. Confidence can be built on knowing that they are still doing good business and to date they have not lost any lawyer firms on their books . Yes volatile times could be ahead but that's straight across the board with most companies in these times but the company is still strong .
goodness - do you just reprint the press and them spam BBs with links to your site?
Wise Markie. BUR is one to keep tabs on but choppy waters ahead
I was wondering what to do Monday as well I’m confident long term but short term I think it might get a bit turbulent to say the least! I’ve opted to put a stop loss order in place.
Wise words Brucie. This has turned into a bar brawl and MF (sic) are a street fighter and the ivy league types are going to have to roll up their sleeves and lose some teeth if they are going to win the fight and that win ain't coming soon. Those double your money predictions are looking fragile now, check out the bonds FT link I posted. If we are going to double our money it's going to take a long time in my view and I'm a 10K holder (small fry really amongst others) now pondering to dump Monday as the Shyte is going to fly next week
Sunday times sums up the saga up very well. MW got no leg to stand on.
Fair enough bruce, at least you're not making any crystal ball predictions..
I think it is so tricky I believe any strategy could prove wrong - or profitAble. Hopefully all will come clear. But as the tv pundits say "for now i'm out'
So Brucie are you saying stick or twist? Higher or Lower? What's the Brucie bonus?
Shorters won't like a company buying its own shareS? Tough say i
Bruce, I don't think shorters will be pleased with a company buying its own stock, as it doesn't serve their fear mongering .
BruceJamieson I agree but short term it’ll burn those f’king shorters which will help reduce damage. God I hate shorters with a passion. No really I do... they suck the hard earned cash from the honest... yes I know there are those who think and invest differently, that’s a choice.
Remember lady thatcher's axiom. You can't buck the market. Just as in forex a buy back simply won't work.
It’s gonna be an interesting one for sure! Lots of huge buys Friday and lots of huge sells too. MW still on one even though Burford addressed issues... I think Burford will now (have to) do a buy back to stop a slide to lower levels and once and for all put these damaging shorts to bed.... still think (IMO) Burford will get the better of MV. Would hate to be MW, I mean it must be hard to sleep with one eye constantly open and with a cosh under the pillow!!
Any thoughts on the week ahead?
My personal view was we had a ii selling off on friday as the current volatility and accusations have pushed this out of their low risk strategy window. I also think a lot of traders and smaller pi's exited too watching the downtrend and were nervous of further reporting and mud slinging over the weekend.
My opinion is the week ahead should be good. It will remain volatile as it's an amazing opportunity for day traders to take in profit and smaller PI's to capitalize and build a position which will see them reap dividends and price growth for many years to come.
Nothing reported this weekend has cast any further doubt and indeed the investigation into market manipulation I view as a good thing. It reinforces the veiw that BUR have nothing to hide and this is incredibly undervalued. I also suspect BUR have used te weekend to progress further strategies to increase transparency and reinstate true value and sentiment back into the market.
Have a great week folks.
