maybe time to get back in. The share is constantly bouncing.
Can I hope and pray it drops to 2.80 again anytime soon! I got a feeling it will be a steady rise over next few months.i am no expert but looking at news etc points that way.
In a few weeks it won’t matter what the Saudi’s or Russians are selling a barrel for, wether it’s $10 or $50. The storage facilities will be full, with very little consumption there will be no need to purchase further supplies. I’m now waiting for the usual fall today before buying back in, sold half my holding midday.
5eightsaccount.thanks for that....its going to be a long while before we see oil back in $50s that's for sure just hope they don't cut the divi
Hi Billy, apologies for the post 'out of the blue' as it were. I was looking at buying BP a few days back but feel I've missed the 10% rally but in answer to your question, 'who's buying up all the oil reserves ?', take a look at this.
Its all part of the Chinese global masterplan :-

Its across all the papers https://www.burnhamandhighbridgeweeklynews.co.uk/news/18352877.coronavirus-petrol-stations-will-forced-close-due-impact-covid-19/.....https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/uk-news/uk-today/18349626.coronavirus-petrol-stations-will-forced-close-due-impact-covid-19/.. .https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/18349859.coronavirus-petrol-stations-will-forced-close-due-impact-covid-19/
Fook knows who's buying up oil has oil reserves are almost at full capacity american shale shutting down unprofitable and now this ...Scores of petrol stations will be forced to close due to a lack of sales and their businesses becoming unprofitable - a trade association has warned.
The Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) has said that sites in rural areas where fuel use has collapsed the most are particularly vulnerable.
In a statement, the organisation: “Many petrol stations will have to close in the coming weeks, as sales of fuel dry up and their businesses become
we'll see but if you that sure open a CFD
Ramirez......I expect to see the FTSE hit 4000 before we see 6000. This **** is just starting!
I didnt mean it like that. Quality FTSE stock like BP will always rise back up sooner or later but yes if 10% was the target than fair play
I've been adding across 21 FTSE stocks this last month and only 3 are lower currently....if we get a worldwide break through on Covid than FTSE will hit 6000 again pretty quickly
With no aeroplanes in the sky, no cars on the road and demand for winter weather heating falling whose going to pay $45 for a barrel of something there is no market for?
Rameriz.....I had made 10% in 2 days that is why, as they say a profit is only a profit once banked. Things are too volatile right now to hang on too long.......you would nit be saying why did I sell if it had fallen back to 300p. Unlike you I do not have a glass ball!
Why on earth did you sell at 332p.....?
Even the biggest newbie will know that is gradually rising back to £4 over the next few weeks and imminently quicker if the Saudis Russia and Yanks can agree a sensible deal which would push Brent back towards $45 soonest
I still think we will see this lower. I am reluctant to invest my last bit of spare cash till I am as certain as possible that this has reached the bottom. I am hurting today with my CNA pulling the divi. That means a loss of £6500 to me and in top of that my buy in price of 145 is now looking very sad as it touches 35p. A loss that I realise in my lifetime I will never recover but at least the divi used to pay for a holiday or two. So as far as BP is concerned I really need to time my entry well. I made 10% here earlier in the week, selling as usual too early at 332. I will be back as long term a no brainer though I said that about CNA at 145. !!!
Why do you think we have seen the bottom. Market is very volatile and the coronavirus has nowhere near peaked yet. Only 2000 NHS staff tested what a disgrace. No wonder BJ is holing up in his man cave? Will the next BP dividend be paid in full? I am in by the way and sitting on a humungous loss.
The danger in taking a glass half empty approach to a pedigree company like BP, is you end up with an empty glass. There is a colossal amount of central bank and govt money primed to put a rocket under markets. In 2 years time oil is more likely to be nearer $100 a barrel than $25. Hats off to anyone buying this sub £2.50, I didn't have the cojones.
