Nice hitchhiker's quote.
Wowzers am I included in this abuse?! Crazy.
I was just making a joke about BP (ie that boards are biased).
Indeed @slipperz, in the words of Stephen King
"Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."
I mean my patience with Boo has been already rewarded with a 50% paper profit since "the scandal", but my greed is far higher, and right so!
I came to Boo after losing a small fortune on Shell & BP, you fapper! I'm glad I wasn't enticed to sell Boo today, not even a share ;-). My patience will be rewarded.
Anglaterre I have been wondering how low BP will go. (I won't ask this on the BP board as everyone may answer that it is at the bottom now and it will go to £6 soon!)
But you created an account today to put up your first post & tell us. Dear me.
Snowman. I think I need to follow your advice and just dip in now and then. Yes he did take a kicking from Koovs and carrilion. But you are right the LSE boards are awash with this type of banter. I’m into Asos and boo and will be investing in BP in the future but feel they have still some way to fall butagoodlong term recovery stock.
I felt I was on the money big boy!
Well steveknowsnothing, a very primitive response . Keep up with the conspiracy theory’s and mysterious shorters for ninety minutes. Your moniker is well named. Leave investing to the big boys old chap. You haven’t got a clue.
Personally I'm not a fan of share price predictions as they are always wrong. However, it is the same on every board and we don't have to read LSE all the time. I just dip in now and again to make sure nothing catastrophic has been posted!
Re: Jambon, I used to read the board then (as many others do before they sign up for accounts) and his posts encouraged me to hold through the dips. Shame he and others got robbed by Koovs. I followed it as there was a bit of cross-ramping on here at the time.
Very well said sir. The posters predicting the price now on an hourly basis.i.e. It’s 3.3o p.m. and trying to predict the price for 4.30! Come on ,get real. Posters on here with conspiracy theory’s, and others can’t understand the logic of what happened today. Well, if you can’t see what happened then I can’t teach you. Just read my post from the 24 th September. Back in the days of Jambon and he wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea but he would try and rationalise his thinking. As our friend said and it is quite funny, this lot on here couldn't predict a shower an hour after it started raining. I read these boards because once in a while you get a small nuggetof gold. But wading through Steveknowsnothing, kitty kitty and these other banal posts Makes me think that the gold rush isn’t gunna be found on the Boo LSE.
.
Let's see how correct you are in 1 weeks time Mr 1 post !!
I bought Boo at 286p when the scandal first erupted, and then unfortunately became addicted to reading this messaging board every day for the last couple of months. I've come to the inevitable conclusion that the most regular and prolific posters couldn't predict a rain shower if it happened an hour ago, and it seems to be the case that no-one acknowledges when they were just plain wrong!
Anyway, long story short is that I took £8k in profit this morning at around the 381 mark (it was always going to be an investment counted in months, not years, for me - and yes, it may be short-sighted but it is £8k profit on shares that I had not planned on gambling on) despite the 'wait until Christmas' protestations - but I couldn't face being irresistibly drawn to reading the immense amount of conjecture here for another few months, so well worth it to miss out on any MASSIVE GAINS/AMAZING GROWTH STILL TO COME/HOLD ON UNTIL 2040 statements.
