Nice buying pressure this morning ,and up we go.....:-)
Mikey. Getting back to the RNSs on 'insider' dealing, intended to be transparent to shareholders, one can look back on them on this and other companies and see how they are put when options are exercised.
You take an assumptive negative default position that whenever management or close associates buy in the open market ( they do, you know ) it is not that but an exercise of options, though you cannot attribute them to particular options. In other words, unless the RNS says something like 'this is not options, honest', (not going to happen )then it is in your view options. Done now, thanks.
Raleigh, I would assume that the 100k share trades are proper trades, given the fixed amount of shares traded. On the point about new shares being issued -This is not reflected when the options vest & are traded. When the option plan is agreed and approved by the board, this is when the dilution takes place. Once approved the overall market cap of the company includes not only the shares issued, but the options issued. These option plans we agreed a few years ago.

And what options do you claim Syarifah Aidid exercised?
Mikey. No new shares were notified as issued. They did not pay notional prices, but the prices shown.
It’s just another tree shake by MM’s in my opinion. I just topped up this years ISA. IMHO.
Don't know why the relatively big drop today, but is tempting enough for me to topup....
GLA.
Raleigh, Thats not the case. I was a director of an AIM listed company until 2019 and that exactly how the trades are registered when you purchase your shares that are vested options -they cant appear on the board as 1p transactions. Its highly unlikely that the NEDs would buy their own shares at these prices. They would all have share options which once vested they would purchase the shares at the notional price
"The directors deals data on AIM is wrong then "
NEVER TRUST THIS SITE AS A FIRST POINT OF CALL FOR DATA.....always seek clarity elsewhere from more reliable sources..
Director buys in Dollars are often stated as Pounds etc on this site ...all a bit of a mess
Even the number of shares in issue are at times wrongly quoted , in some instances
I think your assumptions are incorrect. The RNSs clearly show the price paid. Were they options vesting, the company would say so, rather than being 'advised' by the purchaser.
Thanks for the insights. The directors deals data on AIM is wrong then. Must be that he transferred these to a family member and they dont keep a record of this.
Still holding around 24 million shares.

The company is showing IMs holdings as: Ian McDonough (including family interests) 24,571,877 7.29%
Even small amounts, I assume that all the directors/insiders 'buy trades are options that have vested and are purchased. This company has a 60x multiple of revenue when the industry has a multiple of 7-12x. I'm very interested to understand how the CEO's shareholding went down from 24m shares to 19m shares without a declared transaction. Smart enough to offload them at this multiple.
They are not large amounts, but do you contend that, for example, the latest share purchases on 23rd. and 25th March are not 'new share trades'?
Love this board. Always so optimistic. Helps that most of the posts are from employees too. Directors buys are typically not actual new share trades at market price, but their vested stock options that they are 'buying ' at a notional price. Interesting to see that the CEO's share holding have gone up (with options vesting) and down, with no sell trades recorded. Is this gifting of shares to family? I know Ian posts here, so possibly we can get some insights
Lionheart.
You will find SS only sold to help IM out, as to but that size in the market he would have had to pay up.
He was just doing IM a favour.
Don't forget either that the BoD bought c.300,000 at 25.29/25.37 two weeks ago so they feel confident. Bearing in mind that they have also picked up over 10m shares between them since 2019 with only one significant sells from Stephen Streater leaving him with 'only' 66m shares (there was a Bed and Isa by Andrew Bentley last April by the look of it), they keep putting their money where the mouth is so I, for one, deem any price below their most recent entry, as a bargain. Hence, I will add below 25.37p happily at present. GLA
I agree..the sell was possibly only reported once buyers had been found...probably sold in smaller amounts to many buyers ...price dropped to quickly push through the market
Actually that large sell on close,is a ordinary delayed Trade . So that one trade could of been done at any time, not necessary at end of today.
Today's BIRD trades. Buys 652,411
Sold 330,507
So,IMO when ever that last sold trade was done,They where "IMO" immediately bought up. This company is growing & doing deals with huge international company's and US etc Government agency's . I am a very happy investor, with the way things are going.
