I wasnt here in Ortac days..I think not long after Nick arrived..How lucky for me!
Try not to be bitter bernard..it could affect your future decisions. Patience is key with exploration shares.
Great opportunity here for new investors to come in at a low price while the weak hands are selling. Wont last forever.
Mr Longer.we all make bad investments and we all hold on too long sometimes, but to call Arcm a dog when all it has done is turn around a failing ORTAC is wrong.NvS is probably going to save you the money you invested wrongly through your own fault in the first place,so perhaps change your thinking from blaming others,to Wow that was lucky he came along and saved me a few bob..Not a critique just a different angle Yours Mr Fulmar.
We are no longer the mess we was Mr longer. When VC was in charge we were looking for gold in a country/community that didn't want us to do exactly that. If you think back to Ortac it's a wonder anyone invested... what were we thinking?
Mr longer - i you think major involvement with our enviable assets is a dog, then that's one posh pooch. I see a definite future in dogging.
well Mr Longer,if this share is a dog it has just been judged best in breed and made friends with one of the judges. The litter is going to be very expensive.
Caddy1 you're not wrong. But there again Ortac and the modern day Arc are poles apart
You might well be right Carling. I hope you and other get a decent reward over the coming months.
Way back when I remember Sturec and it's 2000000 ounces of gold was going to make all Ortac investors rich. Ended up selling it for next to nothing. Don't think this will be the same.
Westie Dont think anyone can beat my percerverance as been here since 2009 Ortac days...
Fortunately for me I started investing at 23. I could only afford 3k at the time haha. I've been able to average down quite easily as I started from a small base my average currently sits at 3.19. I am positive about this share just trying to bring what I feel is a realistic view to the contrary 10p by the weekend view. I can see this dropping back to 2.4p at which point I will be topping up again and I'm sure many will join me.
My holding has been built up as well since Ortac days hence my average of 3.4p.
IMO for a major to commit to this sort of agreement with a company which is miniscule in comparison is significant. They could buy us up with the loose change in their back pocket, but i think Nick won't let us go for peanuts. As a Director he has a loyalty to his shareholders, hence yesterdays news.
BTW - nice to see the sp going up and down like a tart's knickers. Volume = liquidity and will push the traders to one side. Would love to see us back in the 3's and beyond very soon. A substantially invested person on Twitter has quoted a buyout equivalent price of 15p per share.
Yezzr,we have already been told approaches have been made but it was either too low/too restrictive/too early. The AA link up shows they respect our position and strength. I guess as an old ORTAC holder (as I am) your average is higher than most.Don B has share for salary allocation @7.5p and he is no mug.As ever here patience.
I did make those assumptions and I would rather you were right than me! I don't know whether or not that was directed at me westie? Ortac was the first share I ever purchased 7 years ago. I've been here since before we were talking about building theme parks in Slovakia to appease the locals. Thank god those days are gone.
@Yezzer-you assume they have not made an offer already, you also assume that offer was not politely declined as too low and too early, we are in an agreement where both sides can wait to see better what is actually for sale. The good news is they must be very keen, and would have shown enough interest and maybe something else for NvS to be willing to commit to one suitor and give them sole access for six months.
I think investors need to remember this is day one in the next chapter of arc. We've known majors have been sniffing around for a while. Well now they can officially smell the sulphides.
Now the rabble have arrived (again) some need to be careful who they take note of. There's quite a few who drop in with the odd idiotic comment, then disappear again. Posters like Fulmar, Cattleman, Bloodshot and a few more have been here a long time and 'know' arcm. One thing is for sure, this is just the beginning and the next 6 months could be transformational for us. We have the best management team in situ with a pedigree the cannot be questioned. Surely it's not a coincidence that NvS being and ex AA man has now secured this deal. As I said, early days. Still very very cheap
Oiliest, if we had enough for them to make an offer I'm sure they would have. My thinking is they won't buy the asset unless we find more. AA are not stupid if they wanted to buy the asset they would have before we continue drilling, the fact drilling continues with the possibility of finding more will push the price up. AA won't want to spend more than they have to should we find more it will and they know this.
My guess is that they collect anything they can from profit taking after yesterday big jump so they can fill big order/s....surely with the good size director buy at average of above 3p there is interest by big investors to follow suit...IMHO.
"AA are interested IF we find more only" - who says? That sounds like hyperbole.
We have near-surface sulphides remember? More successful cores = more bargaining power to get a better price... but even now we have enough to get AA interested. It's a matter of how much MORE valuable/profitable it could become.
I said this yesterday. The next drill results will be what push this AA are interested IF we find more only then will the share price sustainably rise. Without drill results all we have is a first refusal.
Thought it would have kicked on more today but just can't seem to get rid of these damn sellers !
Oh well when we least expect it will do another 20 / 30 % day i imagine.
Can still buy under 3p. I just topped up.
So up it goes?
it is now open season on Arc shares once again. This is only going one way so easy meat for MMs. Little manufactured drop earlier for anyone dopey enough to put a stop loss on.Another 1 or 2 drops after rises later on to hit the St Losses, and in the grand scheme of things they can profitably fulfill the orders they have now and will be receiving from serious players."Don't be dopey, dont be dumb, shove stop losses up your ????" Control your own destiny.
