Those don't appear to exist anymore - so I'm guessing they were Kalaba.
There is also these.....
License 8248-HQ-SML (3.98 km2) and Small-Scale Exploration License 23243-Q-SEL (4.05 km2)
Hi F79,
19906 is now Handa LEL, 23004 and 23005 are still Zaco LELs. I did do a search for Zamsort which found no entries in the mining cadastre.
Ella I'm probably almost certainly not going to add value here but in the 1% chance I do I've seen the following licence refs. Reason I'm not confident is mainly as I'm assuming they are not 'current' given the many changes:
Zamsort License Details: Exploration License 19906-HQ-LEL
Zaco License Details:
Exploration License 23004-HQ-LEL
Exploration License 23005-HQ-LEL
Anyway won't harm if no use.

Hi Fulmar,
The Kalaba area is now covered by the handa LEL but no mining licence is showing in the area. These changes were completed today so could be a work in progress. I assumed that AA probably wouldn't use the Kalaba plant. I don't have the Kalaba licence number to search do on it.
@Ella-lack of a mining license ? what have I missed ?
It got sent under 6 by chump change.
Works in reverse I guess.
Might see if I can get it over 6 with my lunch money tomorrow.
What the heck happened to the SP. To me the lack of a mining licence at Kalaba signifies a deal pretty much complete in that AA won't use Kalaba to process the ore. Am I missing something?
I think with this kind of survey you need to have consistency of data over a large area in order to build a model of what is going on so it doesn’t surprise me that they are collecting so much data. Presumably it can be added to the previous survey to build up a more accurate picture. It doesn’t mean that they haven’t narrowed down the search areas.
If you have a look at this Anglo American airborne survey for the woodsmith polyhalite project near Whitby you can see the scale of the area that is being surveyed for that.

Thanks for checking. That must mean any historical info, drill results and soil sampling hasn't ruled out much of the target areas and if we get back promising results we are going to drill once every 14km2?
Oops, meant to say it IS in the ball park of what I would expect!
I think they said 5200 line km for the survey. If you take the distance from Fwiji to Chidi that’s about 30km and the width for the areas of interest is roughly 10km so with a line spacing of 50m that would be 6000 line km so I don’t think the quoted number is in the ball park of what I would expect.
I would love someone to do a sanity check on the km2 that are being flown for the survey. I can't see any error I've made but it seems a very large area. I think it was about 13mins into the IC.
SeisNav,
that is an interesting change! There is no longer a mining licence for Kalaba unless it is still a work in progress... puts paid to a community effort on Kalaba. The exploratiin licence appears to have been absorbed into Handa. I suppose that means there will be no pressure to perform mining activities in the near future.
I’d been thinking that the negotiations were either with respect to Fwiji or the Handa license area but it could of course be about both the Zaco AND Handa licenses, leaving us with Afrimin to explore further. With AAL’s recent announcement they are going to need all the assets they can get!
That should obviously be Handa Resources
As I see it there are now 4 specific areas in our licences. 2 of these are held by Zaco (south east) and (north/north east).
Zaco (south east) includes chihidi and kazozu targets.
Zaco (north/north east) includes Fwiji and West Lunga.
Afrimin resources limited (previously west part of zamsort licence) includes jatuma and Cheyeza West.
Hands Resources (previously east part of zamsort) includes Kalaba, Lumbeta, Muswema, Kazozu (north) and Cheyeza east.
It’s a surprising development, I was thinking they had kept Kalaba separate because of the legal case but clearly that’s not the case and as NvS said in the investor call, they don’t have a leg to stand on regarding Zamsort. Does this mean that they are negotiating for the whole of the Handa license, including Kalaba?
Maybe heading for another extension which is causing a weak sp,beggars belief the sp at the moment
It looks like the Zamsort License area at Kalaba has gone from the cadastre. I think it has been absorbed into the Handa Resources license area but might be wrong. They did say license changes were still a work in progress...
