Went in first thing again and topped up 150.....
think there will be volatility regardless, so might be wise to keep some dry powder...
I have traded these a few times but with all the good things to come imho I am
Planning to stay long. No choice at the moment but realistically I feel this has lots to offer in the future.
@hexam
"So maybe flip a coin to decide"
Done..and you know what.. It landed on it side
Chuz - No idea, making short term SP predictions is just a wild stab in the dark. As you say the sp has held up really well so far but I think the real test will come this afternoon and could (obviously) go either way. So maybe flip a coin to decide ;)
@the_chuz
"All depends on perspective and its one of those odd situations where 2 completely opposing views were both right."
Spot on! Everything is about perspective.
If you were hoping for a massive pump today with a high IPO price life will feel dreadful and sad....
If you were hoping for big gains long term with lots of future developments in the field of blockchain and crypto currency not even as yet imagined, then the IPO price today is pretty meaningless.
Anyhoo, to the moon, DYOR, GLA etc etc yadayada
@Hexam
"Except the vast majority of new shares are not locked in (according to the NASDAQ filing). So opening in US this afternoon will be interesting with some perhaps cashing in big profits whilst others look to get on board."
Sheeesh are you saying I might need to sell and buy back again, my fingers are going to go let worn out ha
@misterbeck
"So we are just temporarily down 5% in the first 30 minutes of trading. why is everyone crying... just chill this is heading north along with BTC double-whammy."
I think it's a great result.
If it shot up then it means the company mispriced the IPO and didn't gain the money it should of done.
If it tanked it means the IIS are annoyed because they were sold a lemon. So to be +-5% is actually spot on.
I think back to a couple of weeks ago when we were at 135p.. There was talk about shares being at a premium for the IPO which I didn't agree with and as we now know they were at a discount( I do like to be right sometimes).
BUT and it's a big BUT, if you look at the share price now and take base it on the 135p which is where the debate was centered they actually ARE at a premium now within a few minutes of trading.
All depends on perspective and its one of those odd situations where 2 completely opposing views were both right.
Except the vast majority of new shares are not locked in (according to the NASDAQ filing). So opening in US this afternoon will be interesting with some perhaps cashing in big profits whilst others look to get on board.
Sit back and relax

MM80 ARB-£5
As I thought. You do not understand. Just spreading fud. Lol lol lol
back of envelope, plenty of trading scope
$15/10 =$1.50 = £1.10 STG
$15 is a 33% discount to the ARBKF
Opens in US up 50% on IPO price of $15 at yesterdays price of ARBKF (big ask imo)
Think there will be a dip here again due to disappointment of pricing.
A 10 bagger perhaps, at an average cost of 16p.

ShearClass - BTC was higher when HUT8 did their placing.
NASDAQ listed miners are *VERY* sensitive to BTC movements.
The placing did have a negative impact on short term price, but the price is currently slightly higher than their placing price and BTC is 5-10% lower than it was when they announced the placing. So it's not as bad as you suggest.
So we are just temporarily down 5% in the first 30 minutes of trading. why is everyone crying... just chill this is heading north along with BTC double-whammy.
Lock in?! Hahaha. Are you for real. Not a chance that any of the US investors participating at £1.10 equivalent will have a lock in. You'd be insane to agree to a lock in for something as volatile at BTC. I still can't understand why anyone would buy at £1.50 prior to the US open, HUT8 did a placing last week at a 15% discount and guess where the share price opened? At the placing price. Guess where it still is? At the placing price...
Very funny. Do you understand the lock in period.
Don't they have to hold them for 90 days?
@the_Chuz
Its obvious that games are still being played out and us poor regular PIs are getting pulled around from pillar to post.
Could even be a false rally and we get pulled down again on US open but UK opened as I predicted in the 140s just below 1.50p.
Will rise over coming trading days imho...
I think I need a new broker, I was spamming online quote to be NT until £1.52. Still a great price IMO
All this negativity.
WE ARE NOW SET!!!
Future inbound, massive profits each month, growing company, US listing!
I'm guessing the people panicking are looking for a ROI measured in days/weeks, not years.
Why will the investors who bought shares @ $15 flip for a 35% profit? How do you know they won't hold out for much monger in expectation of a much larger return? Pray tell.
Got NT for a long time. Managed to pick some more up after trying over and over.
The IPO will be heavily oversubscribed.
Caught 140, great chance to top up before the pile in over the coming days! finally here and all i can see is positives for this company! exciting times, well done to all the long term holders don't let the FUDDERS get you down!
Bought back in @ 1.46 this morning. What's the US symbol is it $ARBK ? thanks and GLA
@miaterbeck
Nicely done , I went too low and now need to wait for the transaction to kill so I will miss the drop.
Ahh well, messed that up, I'll end up buying back in for more than I sold now.. Its a dodgy game we play ha
