@Eddie 563, seems to me like you were trying to 'investigate' last night "Scratcher. That’s a military reference? Never heard a civilian use that term!" Well, never I've signed up and would not be much use, unless maybe on a keyboard but not sure I'm up to that now. ATB
Those folks at Google suggest........
"Scratcher is the universal (well, in Ireland and Scotland anyway) word for bed."
But equally a new one to me, suppose I've lead a sheltered life, !!
@Eddie563, I don't come from Dalkeith but mum was Scottish. I actually now live in Eastbourne - the 'sunshine coast'. Some say 'the stairway to heaven'. Others say 'then they move to Bexhill-on-Sea to die'.
Bees, another no, but I have a sister that does (she's never lived in Dalkeith). At this rate, I will plaster my history all over this BB. BTW, I HATE social media. I hope you've recovered from your ordeal at work the other day. Have fun, ATB. I must get off to my scratcher now - just in case tomorrow turns out to be an exciting day.
@MoneyMan80, many thanks. My mum died when she was 62 but back in the 1980s, so I have adjusted/come to terms with it. One thing for sure though, I will always be grateful to her for instilling in me, my sense of determination. Just after I was born, the Consultant Pediatrician told her I might never walk (due to severely deformed feet). A lot of treatments and major surgery but she made darn sure I could walk, a bit wobbly but I can walk and so I consider myself much luckier than countless other folks. Thanks, mum. This determination spreads over to my rather large, for me, investment in ARB. ATB
Troll ex investment banker, billy billshutter.
600Thieves sorry for your loss. I think it's more of a wake up call when close ones are lost health is so valuable.
Keep safe and well Argonauts

Kev, "Put it this way, I make myself laugh. " Well, there's two, at least, that you make laugh.
Another gem from my schooldays was when the headmaster said "a sense of humour is the most important thing in life". As a 14-year old, I thought, leaving the expletives out, 'No, I'd rather have my health you silly old .........' But after spending days at my mum's bedside when she had cancer, I learned the wisdom of what the head meant. She couldn't speak, she did croak, but she could smile in her last days. So that and "Logic is not reality" are the two things I remember from my school days. But I did learn to sail as I couldn't play football, rugby, or cricket as I couldn't run, and even then had problems walking. Hey ho, way off topic! Have fun, 600

“ Kev, I'm not sure about your sense of humour, or my own. ”
Put it this way, I make myself laugh. Plus, I thought I would test Tiger16 on his backstory, and/or his ability to differentiate between an investment banker and a merchant banker.
I’m still trying to work out what his first language is, although his English is very good, for a non-native.
That’s right keven , back with vengeance .
To create a happy tomorrow with predictions that are 100
A bit of comic relief is always welcome. I think of Tiger as the board pet; perhaps a hyperactive ****er spaniel, great fun but daft as a brush.
Hahahaha, tiger returns.
Pls everyone, DYOR!
Amnesia , yes I spelled your name wrong , which is the only thing I have made a error on , as all the predictions I made will come to fusion. HE 1 is a temporary dip , once they start drilling again . Boom .
The other predictions where based upon the market at the time . It will happen , just taking longer
Why did you waste so much time doing research when we don't even know uplifting price for in a weeks time, though?
The chuz .. I have made it clear , very clear in my post this is my opinion , and it is not financial advice . And I could be wrong . So no one should loose any money they can’t afford to loose , and I would say that is the general advice I would give all investors , which is DYOR , and never invest what you can’t afford to loose .
Again allow me to reiterate I’ve based my prediction on my research and individuals I know . Hence we could be wrong. .I believe in myself and those who have guided me , so I have tppped up today as I bought in the second round with the profits I make made plus in at £2.33 ..
Hence I’m very excited and looking forward to Friday .
Yep, fireworks or bonfire... Tune will tell
Kev, I'm not sure about your sense of humour, or my own. "Your status on this board is legendary" ?? Anyway I thought this particular candidate was an investment banker (13:23 yesterday) but maybe a merchant banker is more apt - they, of course, help companies and high-net-worth individuals. ATB keep 'em coming.
Its certainly going to very exciting for sure.
Think we might have to waiting for that machine installation RNS to hit before your prediction tiger . Looking forward to Thursday
As Abraham Lincoln probably never actually said:
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
@Tiger
"KV3 , thank you , and you are about to experience my magic first hand ."
Be nice now.. Some people might actually believe you and lose money.
Of course if you were any good at predicting even a direction of share price rather than the actual price then you should just make your millions that way.. Just be over 60% right on the direction let alone the price and you would be minted
I had five minutes with nothing to do so just had a quick look at a few of your recent posts Tiger. They're quite something.
27 Aug
"I see £4 by the close of trading on the first day of Nasdaq listing if not more"
(Something fundamental must have changed if £2.40-£3.00 will now be "spot on")
21 August
"£2 by the end of week"
(This was also one of your comedy posts referencing "Eton Mask")
8 August
"I’m loosing confidence in BTC and ArB. .. have we seen the best already . ?"
And then there's this absolutely priceless gem on HE1 when the SP was 25p on 2 July:
"this will hit £1 without a doubt"
It's now about 8p.
KV3 , thank you , and you are about to experience my magic first hand .
Can’t wait to comment on here next Friday .

“ Yet I believe I wil be spot on .. ”
Your status on this board is legendary. As a former Merchant Banker, we expect great things of you.
Ah, these "people in the know" would no doubt be your former colleagues from when you were a "senior investment banker".
Keep making random guesses. Eventually by the law of averages one will be right.
Freedom what your reasons going for £2 ?
Shall I make my prediction which is based on in depth research and some People in the know . Yet this is not financial advice , as we could all be very wrong .
Yet I believe I wil be spot on ..
24 th sept the next day ArB wil open on LSE at 2.40 - 3.00 and not a penny less .
Think a lot depends on who/what entity’s have bought in on the ipo, If it’s made public knowledge (not sure if they do) and one of the well known players MS,KOL have bought in that could really ignite interest.
