lol Angus was and never has been subject to any shorting. Some of you live in a fantasy world. In internet myth has become an internet fact this last 20 years as "short it" came into the online world
I worked for Stockbrokers in the 1980's and absolutely no one even back then ever approached us to short a stock let alone actually do. Hedge funds however may well lay the short bets on big companies. Angus not a chance in hell now or in the past.
Back to the update.....I'd expect certainly a rise today of 50%
that's a deferred tax asset.
Reminder:
the part of the Saltfleetby CPR which already exists is the tax losses in the 100%-owned operating subsidiary, AEWB No.3 Limited, of £15.64m at 30/09/19, worth, at ANGS's total tax rate of 40%, £6.256m (see p47 of the CPR).
These tax losses are not yet on ANGS's balance sheet, so not included in its net assets at 31/03/20 of £11.116m.
They will only come onto the balance sheet when the company and its auditors are convinced they can be offset against forecast taxable profits.
Just had a quick run through CNGs website, looks like Angus have made a good call there,CNG look to be at the forefront of gas tech.
Hamster lol nobody is shorting Angus....quite comedy gold perhaps you'd explain where you borrow the shares from in the first place to short it !!
Excellent news nonetheless..... Certainly when the "connection" goes live we'll be back about 5p absolutely nailed on it may well "bag" tomorrow obviously.
Seeing I own 165,960 (just below par currently) it could be a decent Monday
Here's some good news - CNG services are very familiar with the processes involved in connecting to the national grid and given they will be constructing the pipeline , my guess is they will be able to advise on every aspect of this project and push past obstacles. I would be surprised if any gas flows before October but Christmas looks fairly certain imv.
add the gas off take agreement sometime soon this month and the sp will break previous highs. SF,balcombe are certainly not in the price. there is 3-4p upside here.
Been a long day, but I think I mean the numerals move left, or the decimal point goes right...either way, the SP goes up, that is what I mean...Sorry if I got left and right muddled, like I said long day...dooh. :-)
Possibly posted at 5pm so the PIs (both LTHs and new) can all have a very pleasant weekend, looking forward to Monday 8am, while those shorting will have a restless one? Hopefully go beyond the decimal point next week, and stay on the left from now on. GLA.
* point :-)
Per the IQ (29/6), connection works were expected in August following planning approval and to be finalised in September.
The detail in the timetable will be interesting to see if there is any 'drift' in previous expectations, and any potential hurdles still to be jumped.
All looking good at this pint though.
Think it may have been granted a bit quicker than expected, seem to remember GL hoping it would be granted by the end of August.
Good news, but for me, not really expecting anything significant on the SP for this as it was pretty much a given.
Another step on the right path though.
The detailed timetable expected next week will likely attract more interest here, especially if no variance on the expected timelines.
good weekend all
Why release at 5pm on a Friday though ? Normally that's the slot for releasing bad news when no one's looking.
Where were the posts about not wanting to be out of this over the weekend ?? Should be a strong week next week.
Going to be a interesting Monday
