Dunnieboy, in my opinion, the only thing that will impact this share price is SALES! And lots of them! We need a really good RNS Update with NUMBERS next month, and nothing vague or woolly.....like “we are really pleased with how things are going”! That will not cut it, as the Market is just not that stupid. I have powder dry here and am pleased that I didn’t deploy more funds yesterday. My mantra of NEVER to buy before 8:30am has yet again come good. I will buy more here, but not yet. I don’t need to average down, so they will need to prove to me, that they are worthy of more of my hard earned spondoolies!! ATB
No chance Rox aka The kiss of death! Aml is going to go on growing nice and steady. Month by month, q by q. It isnt going to be a get rich quick scheme but if your going to put your money into any stock there is risk and I would say your money is safer in AML than most. You could take your money and find a stock that jumps up and gives a quick profit but which could also drop just as easy. Aston is still cheap with huge potential. No gambling here. This stock is solid. Everything we wanted to hear yesterday we pritty much got. Getting merc on board is fantastic, AML have never been had such a bright future.
Soul your pp comment above made me laugh out loud ha ha
Dimi you are not alone I am down 45 grand just with the AA. Keep smiling mate and always remember that it’s all going to end in tears anyway!! Ha ha That’s not just for me and Dimi by the way that is for EVERYONE here!!
Dont worry Dimi, we have all been there, I for one am way way down. With your talent you will pick the winners out of the hat in no time. Have a good night sleep and tomorrow is a better day.
Sitting in front of the pc since 7 am... lost 30000€ in one day... the whole week was bad... worst week ever...
Lockdown from monday in Germany...
I am afraid that tomorrow will not be better...
All charts are ****ed...
My head hurts... try to stay strong...
Good night everybody...
Typical Stroll masterclass in delivering stunning news, which deserved far greater reaction today but realistically minds were elsewhere. In any normal landscape these would have seriously roared. However you cannot get away from the fact that Aston's fundamental proposition is now so enhanced that there are several scenarios and they all pan out extremely well for us. Effectively the SP is copper bottomed at 62p, downside is limited, upside is of huge promise. Stroll knows it & so do MB.
Today started so brightly but what a very disappointing end, though did still finish up. I don’t know how RR managed a double digit percentage raise, it’s on its ar5e with its market going back into turmoil around the globe!!! Crazy times and I don’t no why the rise today all but sold off but the fundamentals here are better than ever now so it must be seen as a great buying opportunity. I’ll be looking to add on the morning. GLA
No cheap shares here boy! Boom to the Moon!
Don’t agree at all. The money they would have to outlay for tech etc has been much reduced with the revamping up of this partnership plus we have bought time with the electric side of things as using Mercs stuff puts us back on a level with other companies pushing electric.
No its not going to waste the profit you should read more. The company is looking to sell dollar and sterling bonds to help redeem existing senior secured debt that are at higher rates than 9% so the company is reducing costs, repay a government-guaranteed loan and put cash on the balance sheet. This will put the company in a much better financial standing than before.
Junk bond sale yielding 8-9% is going to waste all the "profit". This company is history
Agreed. Expected it to pull back after opening but honestly thought we would bu up 10%. To me the dilution is of so little relevance. The fact that merc are strengthening ties how can it get any better. This should be early 60s I reckon but not sure on anything after today!!
Agreed the news today was massive and it should have led to a bigger bump. However, in light of what's happened elsewhere today and how AML has reacted previously to general bad news it's held up pretty well. To finish up on a massively red day is positive in my opinion.
Hopefully things stabilise and we see a general upward trend now. A nice gentle incline over the next few months would be great - rather than a massive rise followed by an inevitable fall...
You tell them PP.
Feel your pain mate, I think this week and next will be very intresting and tell us more about where this is going. Doesnt that last AML share news letter say the window closes on friday, so maybe once that info is solid things will play out more like we expect. Wolff, vettel and friends all got in around the 50p mark and that's where the price stayed with the help of stroll. The price never really went to far south of that sp. So I'm sure the same will happen for this new 62p price that mercs shares are worth. Theres no way stroll will want to see the sp to far away from that promised figure. If it fell away from that 62p for to long its gonna make him look foolish, like hes got his maths wrong, if anything he'll want it sat nicely above it to make merc feel like there getting a good deal.
Dunnie I agree with you on every point. AML plus a dozen of other companies finished the day in blue today. I think the reason for this fall is that everyone had their fingers burnt too often and they sell at dynamic resistance. You can only look at the people on this BB as a sample of the larger crowd.
AML will be rising and rising very soon.
Let’s have it how it is, today was a major disappointment!
If Mercedes taking their stake from 5% to 20% doesn’t improve the sp, then what does??? I appreciate it was a bad day generally, but everything I read was positive .
The dilution with regard to the MB will be in phases, and they’re not going to trade them in the market, at least in the short term. The Institutional fund raising has given AML £125m in cash, so the company has much needed liquidity, so I don’t see that as a problem.Money raised from the secured notes is being used to pay off the bonds, and bank loan, so no problem there.Maybe a good nights sleep will help, but majorly disappointed.
