Yes we have had a reduction in share price over last few months, but IMO this will rise again, good fundamentals in place. Stroll has done a good job in turning this old rusty ship around, takes a bit of time but he knows his business and has a good track record and team around him. Sales are increasing and we have more to offer.
C2645sg chill out a bit; extremely negative on Stroll. Surprised you haven’t blamed Stroll for the new COVID variant! Try and look at the positives, life will be far more enjoyable ;)

Hi guys
New to trading, bought in at 44p so really exciting! Two questions:
1. Do you think this could hit a £1 by the end of the year?
2. If it say hits £1 and I press Sell on 212 Trading, do they have to accept that and I get my money or technically wait for someone to buy my shares. Sorry if sounds silly, very new to trading!

Hi all,
A newbie here. Bought in at 45p, tempted to sell but reading a lot of good news. Think there is ever a potential this could go to £1 or more?
What other? Haha! You the wet cloth!!
C26 what’s your opinion on all the other stocks getting hammered? Is that Strolls fault too!
Love it when you get shown up with your incorrect facts, yes AML is down but this is not unique..look at the whole of the market. Chill out and have some Cow and Gate x
Will c26 and me magic Man be right with calculated price tomorrow's? We only ones who know as we have no cloth haha! £28, £45 haha!!!
orange squash i think !!!!!!!! with a spot of lemonade
New low haha!
BTFATH1
thanks for that..yes I read about part issues somewhere..... the luxury markets are actually holding up quite well, Chanel,Burberry and the high fashion end are saying so.... all the rich who cashed in their FAANG shares etc before the sell off have lots of cash to spend on holidays, cruises, art and more top end cars etc....although there is the usual "go to " competition for sure
Not having parts though is a problem and keeping production costs down against previous agreed buyer prices is another
Interesting stage to see how things develop

DBS is just dreadful cg :-))))))))
right I’m going golfing in the sun for 9 and I might even grab a cappuccino - ciao
And google Asprey & Garrard for how Stroll spectacularly fails.
Cg you are forgetting this :-)
Plus the cost savings they are rolling out and free cash flow that is being generated.
Taking-off into a new era for Aston Martin
· Retail customer demand continues to run ahead of wholesales, with GT/Sports sold out for the year
· DBX707, the world's most powerful luxury SUV, launched to significant customer and media excitement; DBX orderbook up c.60% on the prior year
· New V12 Vantage announced, with all 333 units sold-out by launch in March following unprecedented demand
· Racing.Green., new ESG strategy, launched on Earth Day reiterating electrification plans; first PHEV deliveries in 2024 and first BEV targeted for launch in 2025
· Strengthening the team with new senior appointments in commercial (China), design (exteriors), engineering (Body in White, vehicle integration and Valkyrie team), quality (suppliers) and sustainability;
- New CFO Doug Lafferty appointed to the Board 1 May 2022
- New Chief People Officer, Simon Smith appointed on 11 April 2022
Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman commented:
"We continue to make tremendous progress, now operating as an ultra-luxury brand and seeing exceptional demand across our product range with sports cars sold out for the year and DBX orders up 60%. Our most recently announced limited-edition, the V12 Vantage, was fully sold out prior to its official launch in March; and DBX707 is making headlines as the premier ultra-luxury performance SUV on the market, generating strong customer interest.
We are poised to deliver good growth in 2022 and remain extremely confident in the medium and long-term prospects as we transform Aston Martin into the world's most desirable ultra-luxury British performance brand."
BT, I could pull apart every single point you made, but can't be bothered.
Go and read this instead...

And all the other AML posts he has written.
Poker good points but what they need is car deliveries I work in the industry and live close to both their f1 and production hubs at gaydon and I know people who work in the f1 division.
Parts parts and specifically semi conductors are the main aspects not sentiment :-)
They have £400m cash left.
Will burn through £200m this year at least, have a court case which they could lose £150m + and need to design new cars for 2023 which cost around £200m each.
The interest costs are £195m per year
Turnaround you say? ;)
CC said he’d gone in with half at around 9£. Maybe he came out?
19.5% interest on the long term borrowings is a joke but well spotted cg.
The aspects you are forgetting though is the ship is turning around and turnover has doubled from 20-21 of course covid had an impact on these figures but production is going to continue to grow year on year.
Do they make one bad car erm no are they one of worlds most luxurious and desirable brands yes.
They are a head turner and stroll is a one of the best in the businessman you only have to look at Hilfiger.
The bit I am interesting in as well is the growth and investment in their F1 division.
Trade the swings
a non-cash charge FX revaluation of Dollar denominated debt in Q1 will be an account cost adjustment which will have possibly got worse in Q2 with £:$1.25, (Q1 £:$1.32)...depending on the Dollar and FX hedging derivative they are aligned to
I was looking at the cash cost needed for the year but yes the Dollar strength will have a non-cash cost for the account .....negatively affecting the P/L
so..needs inflation to recede, the Dollar peak to subside from being a safe haven from risk ...for the cost adjustments to reverse ..I am guessing ..sentiment to then change and SP to turn around ... not there yet
I'd argue if billy bigballs comes on to a free BB saying he has bought £500k shares, after ramping another couple of companies who went bust, they need picking apart.
C26 makes serious point about Merc
C26 also knows he was wrong to suggest Vagobaz got his in price on Halfords wrong
C26 always dismisses other posters like we’re all completely stupid
Best not to post your trades because he will pick you apart if you’re honest
Merc's tie-in is only 365 days from their free shares hitting the market, which was late 2020.
I wonder if they are selling now?
Are you suggesting they don't have to pay £195m?
c.£195m (P&L), £25m higher than original guidance of £170m largely driven by non-cash FX reval. of dollar denominated debt in Q1
Ok but the extra will be a non-cash FX revaluation rather than an increase in the cash cost needed on the interest payments
" that's a bit weird?! " weird to one is normal to another .. Never,say never :-)
So I post and I am lonely, but you post and you aint?
Very good kib. ;)
Never take refuge in the false security that is consensus.
My posts gain very few likes, but I nailed the decline from £21.
What did you get right?
