Exactly, seamus. Shares like this are for the future not for making a quick buck. However, they are also very speculative and if you are invested into them, you want to keep an eye on technology development. Twenty years ago I would have called everybody who told me that in 2020 I will face only being able to drive a car with a fossil fuel burning engine only for another about 8 years, a moron :-)
Mouse
The CEO was saying, yes they are still expensive compared to standard electric cars etc but where electricity isn't available they are viable. ie, ships
I'm sure costs will come down over time
i've jjust been on their BB looks busy
Let me know :^)
WOW, seamus, the AFC share is something that is right up my street. Thanks :-) I will research this thoroughly.
seamus, I have not and thank you for the idea. I wish we had a closed group where we could exchange ideas.
That does sound interesting
Have you come across AFC ? I thought of you this morning when listening to their CEO on squarkbox
Hydrogen batteries
Hi seamus,
US company? Not sure. I was looking into a few companies. There is one that I found interesting, Bacanora Lithium. However, they are still not mining after I think about four years. Furthermore their mines are in Mexico and South America, the latter is pretty much a powder keg. I find all of SA and US politically a bit unstable right now. I have instead bought into Bushveld Minerals Ltd located in South Africa. They mine Vanadium, which is needed in the steel production, glass production and it is a compound for the Vanadium Redox Batteries. These batteries are much lighter and get less hot than the standard Lithium ones. Also China has changed their legislation for building and they will start needing lots of Vanadium, as this stuff is added to harden steel.
Another company I find seriously interesting is Cornish Lithium. They have located high quality Lithium right in front of Cornwall, in the sea. However, I don't think they are on the stock exchange yet. But I feel it's worth keeping an eye on them.
Hey Mouse
How's that US company doing ? BA...... I think you said
I was keeping an eye on it and it seemed to be doing ok
No offence taken, dear Figgy :-) Weird that I turn up just after you wrote that lol :-)
Donotpanic - that’s my theory exactly, glad someone got it:)))

"Dare I say 13-14 today... impossible to buy even small amount"
Try changing your broker. Just tried a 'small' amount (market size 20,000) and quoted 11.2p.
Try 8p mate. This will sink regarsless of outcome as we get a big shakeout. 7-10 days after that we ll fet sustained rise to 15-16p IMO. Expect the unexpected.

Sorry if this has already been brought up, I got interrupted by day job :)
Interesting -
I have also exchanged a number of very positive messages with Gary Jennison, who has suggested we meet on Tuesday.
I’m aware the current board has vowed not to appoint me CEO if I am voted in, but I am hopeful that if I am, the pieces will start to fall into place.
