Has anyone picked up the phone and rang the company lately?
Second that etank, had a wedge put away for the new ISA, have diverted my investment elsewhere now.
BOD silent, social media accounts spamming for apparent for sale posts, it's starting to all appear a bit desperate from where i'm standing. I've had the feeling that there's either discussions ongoing these past months, or they've been caught short, as days go by the latter is seeming the more logical.
If the next news we hear is the accounts, that'll be me either cutting my holding down 50%-75%, or simply just selling out completely.
They still don't get it on here.........!
All the BoD need to do is to have reasoned communication with their shareholders and the constant sniping from us is likely to stop, or at least considerably diminish.
WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
I am incresingly thinking of the management of AMC as a bunch of village idiots.
Have put my additional funds I had earmarked for AMC some months ago somewhere else as a result of the conduct of the BoD - not another penny in here unless attitudes change considerably.

How perceptive, no I’m not a billionaire.I have though made enough to do what I want when I want.
MD
“Astonishing” I suppose it is patiencepoor. The fact is that most investors here are just worn out with the whole AMC thing. We all know what the possibilities were but we have mostly realised that it’s becoming a lost cause. What have all the people on here done or achieved since 10Dec.how many day and hours of work have you done.Well it’s raining here today so I’m bored enough to tell you. It’s 95 or so days or 760hrs if you just did an 8hr day for a 5 day week .If you run your own company you are always assessing your progress and trying to make as much as you can,if you are employed you are alway under pressure to do as much as you can,so to people who think the bod don’t need to keep their sh’s informed or think it’s all going on behind the scenes, have a thought on what RY and the other 2 (not Habib, cos he is well gone and doing other things) have done with their 95 days and their “Possible” 760 hrs.The simple answer is Not Enough
MD
... also starting it climb back up... increasing from 15.9K/t on Friday to almost 17K/t now
I bet you ain’t a billionaire MD, because you’re clearly not business driven ??
Do you think billionaires become billionaires because they sit around waiting for prices to rise? ??! Oil made more billionaires when it was the cheapest by the barrel than it ever did when it was the most expensive.
The indicators we should all be looking out for is what big business is doing.....
And as clearly stated, big business is increasing its production and decreasing its cost.... It really is all you need to know! If you don’t find that relevant then you keep doing your ‘deep’ research into other companies!
You must have way too much time on your hands, but you see, I have a business, a job, and I farm so not as lucky as you, but at least I know how the world works...
Time will tell no doubt!
Have a good day!

I would have thought it would make more sense for NRR to list on the ASX as a stand alone. I'm not so sure NRR would be that happy having to take on board Amur's 1.35B shares although to get a slice of KM they might. A dual listing for a combined AMC/NRR would be an interesting if somewhat far fetched prospect.

While people are busy watching the price of Nickel as an indicator for demand, they’re missing the obvious! What are the big players doing?
Well I can tell you, the big boys are investing into nickel to bring down its cost! That should be enough of an indicator, that should tell you even they’re expecting the demand to rise massively!
The article which I shared on here, that no doubt no one actually read, under the heading ‘only class one will do’ will tell you all you need to know!
NN customer base has expanded! It’s increased it’s processing potential.... It now has to find the supply!

What astonishes me is that the BoD feel no apparent sense of urgency to be shouting about what they have in KM when the whole sector is rising in response to demand for metals to fuel the green revolution. Instead, there’s a sometime-anytime attitude to producing the TEO where it’s considered an achievement that they’ve gained themselves another year to finish it, having told us shareholders months earlier it was nearly complete. The only complete thing here is the absence of decisive leadership.
Really
MD
I was thinking about this too TD2.
NRR probably getting > ~$150t FOB?
Surely mining cost is <$50t.
What's the trucking cost for a 350km round trip? $25t?
Currently shipping 1.5mtpa.
Stage 2: 4mt
You could make an argument that AMC's 13.43 % of NRR is worth the current £23m MC.
What are the chances of the owners using AMC to do a Reverse Takeover?
Are RTO's allowed on the LSE?
Anyway all food for thought while waiting for something/anything to happen at KM.
I haven’t done any deep research into NN, it’s just what I have seen in the news......
They are a fully operational mining company that’s been going years.... They never panicked over their mine flooding... Seeing as they’ve been in business for years, I highly doubt at this point they are scraping around for buyers of their nickel. Then on top of that, just signed another large agreement to supply whole of Europe with nickel for EV batteries, and increased their output at one of their major plants in Finland... Suggests more than 2 mines... Or a load of off-takes.....
The question is, will they be able to sustain that new contract with JM, which stipulates, in time, they will likely need more of the stuff and only class 1, environmentally friendly sources will do......
The article also stipulated they NN & JM will be looking into investing into new mines......... We are sat on Class 1, not far from NN operations!
Rear hand? Should have been research
MD
They keep on posting about the price of copper and how high it is currently but then nothing to the shareholders about where they are in progress/discussions?
Thanks for the deep rear hand there Blue
MD
NN just shut 2 mines due to flooding, so must operate more than 2 mines, or, they have off-take agreements with other miners.
As for pollution, I think all mines are a bit ‘dirty’. NNs operation would have been massive! But obviously now we are in ‘save the planet mode’ operations will be forced to change.
NN has a battery deal to supply Europe with EV batteries with JM, and they’re looking to increase operational output, of class 1 nickel....
Amur might not be massive, but it has the bonus of being class 1, aka cheaper and better for EV batteries!
I believe NN is our off-taker, personally!
Completely agree.
Any mileage in a few of us coming together and communicating to them as a group?
The lack of news is now is a complete disgrace as a publicly listed company they are obliged to tell us the owners of the business what is happening.
Does anyone genuinely believe that nothing is going on?
Yes not too much to ask but why are they silent? None of us know - bit of a mystery really.
Just checked on their website, latest investor presentation... November 2019. The silence from the company is deafening. Not too much to ask for an update from the company is it?
I'm just spitballing here...
There seems to be a deal coming together over at EUA. It would be good to see some of that money coming into AMC.
Maybe a few interested parties want that sorted before allowing us to rise and newsflow is being managed to allow that happen. This is Russia after all.
Audited final results at the end of June. Hibernation until then.
..... is also not fit for purpose.
MD,
Young doesn't need another 12 months. He said it was nearly complete on the 30th September 2020.
And it will be another 6 months minimum once submitted to Russia authorities. But we all know that 6 months will be at least 12.
He will milk it through to December and take the full delay, so they can continue swimming in gravy. He cares not one jot for shareholders.
So with above, you're looking at start of 2023 for any feedback from Authorities and Young knows this.
The BOD in my opinion are not fit for office, since drilling ceased.
It's been one lie after another ad nauseam.
