Nice 2 Quiz.!
A few good indicators/signs available: DeNora update re manufacture, or something AP or BK.
AaronJ. In early stage production, where a player is first to formally agree order terms, that party does not have the benefit of peer validation, so first mover diligence is ultra important. It's not rocket science that Q&A will centre on AFC's ability to meet schedules etc. Any savvy partner will want to vet the facility and report back that the new supplier is ready to roll. It's standard practice in many instances. So, "hard fact" no. but "empirically probably" yes!
Nicely Quiz, agree, the CME was not held randomly, held at a certain time in AFC business. Information communicated, decide.!
I disagree ReoV.
Although agree an order placed RNS is obviously a changer, until then, post CME, post exposed proof @ExE, etc, …is there any well founded views that this could fall some more even though given X number of recent facts, etc, it looks possibly to be a target buy to ins’inv’ as sentiment is replaced by more measured facts.
So I don’t share the view that this will be ‘nothing to see here’ until order placed. Positioning prior to the expectation of ‘order placed’ might likely be going-on. As such, maybe speculation around the size of any first order contract, and hence a possible Mcap estimate is the discussion required.
Or is the ice too thin.?
I read “Point: Guess-work, insider information that we don’t know, conjecture and patterns based on fluctuations totally out of our control”. But fine.
Fit out, production team move in, provisional orders firmed up and announced, sales pipeline quantified, SP rises well above £1. It makes great sense that parties on the cusp of placing orders will want to see the facility and meet key production leaders, as a part of their diligence - they have boards of directors too. It should all happen quickly once the facility is oven ready.
Nice idea however the only tangible insights would come from pipeline. Short of an insider leak it would be pure speculation. So.... it’s down to sales I’m afraid!
Point: following the CME, prior to further ExE exposure, and situation of Co developing contacts and capability, …should anyone notice clear evidence, from experience, that a recognizable pattern/activity in the SP is appearing, then sharing that with supporting claims would be welcome and appreciated, …now that we could/should be moving into the business phase of holding long.
Thanks bechandsurf. I honestly don't know what point you're trying to make, but it's fine, keep going. I've said what I want to stay and I stand by my opinion of some people's behaviour on here. It shouldn't be long before the next post pops up saying "where is the bottom?", "what could the SP be this time next week?" or "I smell an RNS".
Thanks Aron, “posts appear”, what people want re SP is of no interest. How some view possible SP scenarios based on knowledge, experience, general perspectives, and specific news, helps.
There are, for example, people will evidence past performance as only possible outcome.! And that communications were not impressive for what seemed bad to worse case. While ‘deluded’ optimism was running low on available straws.! Situation is now more accessible to information that is likely/will move SP with closer direct determinants.
Possibly moving into a phase where ups and downs are worth/capable to comprehend and act on.
Bechandsurf. Agreed, many examples of delusion/hope clearly do come to fruition (who doesn't want that to happen? I know I certainly do). My whole point since the start of the discussion is that posts appear on a daily basis from people who are simply releasing their anxiety/disappointment/frustration about the SP. But who does it help in the long-run? Feel free to answer that question, but i think we'll disagree again.
I see lots of potential in AFC, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
Aron, there may well be examples of delusion shown by people, that transpire into fore-sight in hind-sight. So is reasonably just an ingredient of comprehension.
As a ‘new view’ on this bb, your perspective is of interest, about the Co, and potential.
Lutra, Yes fair enough. I honestly respect your opinion. But I personally think delusion bordering stupidity happens here daily (in many forms). I've little doubt that a few people would call my comments today delusional or stupid (or other descriptions), but that's just life. Good luck all, and keep up the hope I guess.
Aaron, Thanks. I'm not sure if folks are deluded, but I sometimes get frustrated when posts over-analyse movements (or lack of) and ignore what is going on in the wider market.
The SP has moved in tune with the sector for many months. What makes this capable of bucking the trend is the USP readily available now, units available v.soon.
Just as interested to get negative perspectives, well written posts only.!
Lurta - Yes you're correct, and it's actually what I meant. My choice of words was poor. To confirm, my belief is also that SP drops can and do coincide with good news. I hope this clears it up. Anyone on here can call me whatever names you want. I'm not a deramper. I'm not a shorter. I'm invested here. But i'm not deluded or full of blind hope. I think the latter makes me different from some people here.
Not long now beach, companies will have no choice other than to go green very soon. Tomrorow the queen will talk about setting legally binding emissions targets ahead of the cop26 summit! Brilliant for the sector , we should start seeing the sentiment pick up now, this must be the last chance they have to get in under 60...
Aaron, you say "We've seen irrefutable evidence that positive news from AFC (and other firms) can still result in the SP taking a big dive." That is fundamentally wrong - it is not cause and effect. Positive news did not "result" in the SP taking "a big dive". Positive news sometimes simply coincides with big moves in the wider market.
Relax as a LTH I appreciate any views on this bb
will change only people’s blood pressure the share price is decided elsewhere.
I believe the future will be fine having a guess about future riches is also fine.
If any of you wish to bully me bring it on.
Stay safe stay calm.
Key indicator atm, daily volume. Expecting @3-4m today, steady/increasing daily. More regular 8-10m daily will be v.encouraging.
Thanks Quiz, clearly that is the factor that will speak for its self.
Aron, agreed. Interested in general mood of sentiment, and other factors that may be in play.
Relevant as likely sell a few in next 2-20 days.
With the greatest respect, any/all of the "what might the SP be" posts are totally pointless. Nobody knows the answer to that. Nobody.
The rest of your post is valid (discussing technologies etc), but how they will impact the SP is a waste of time. We've seen irrefutable evidence that positive news from AFC (and other firms) can still result in the SP taking a big dive.
"Where is the SP going to be?" posts are based simply on one person's hope, and nothing more, and I think this fuels the anxiety of some people on this board.
The 4th factor is the likely announcement of a material order, which is why the factory fit-out will be completed shortly, to allow production.
As at 10/5 @60p, what might SP be 14/5, end of May, end of June.?
3 key factors atm: CME exposure to inst’l inv; further ExE exposure coming soon; the Harri hang’ fitted and ready for assembly.
Will welcome technical analysis from any into that, might well become relevant as an indicator for the next few weeks while not probably expecting any news.
