You can be assured that Ricardo will be planning on incorporating the solid system in any future engineering design for decarbonising shipping and locomotive. There will be a ready made market for the solid system as soon as its commercial
I might have known Desertwolfch is up to his old tricks again. Complain incessantly (repeatedly within minutes) when there’s no comms and when there is news he either goes silent or complains even more. I’ve had DW on ignore for weeks now and he’s clearly causing disruption again with the volume of posts.
Today’s RNS was yet again a really positive update from our new Head of Comms and he should be applauded for keeping us and the markets informed about a key market that AFC will be entering over the next months.
Please keep up this level of comms either by RNS or AFC blog.
We have the year end statement next week so hopefully a lot of interesting facts to digest when we see that while we await orders.
I suggest putting DW and others on ignore.it’s entirely your choice but it’s a lot more positive if you do!
The s.p. will probably be propelled forward on the back of new partnerships in different sectors, ABB orders, Extreme E PR, the influx of larger investors once the technology is validated, a recognition of the value differential versus peers etc. As new incumbent s/h's the iis will demand more s.p. stability and wont take kindly to the casino antics we've seen of late, so the MMs will be under more pressure to behave professionally...at long last. In summary, this is a great time to invest.
FCI, I feel you're frustration. almost stopped reading a lot of the posts on here.
Thanks Athansius for posting the WHI commentary. It confirms what I believed anyway and one of the reasons I continue to hold. I firmly believe that the AFC fuelcell tech will be the best on the market due to its 'unique attributes' which will ultimately reduce Opex for the customer. In addition to this, we should also appreciate that AFC have developed a low cost fuel cell so this reduced cost will also apply to Capex for the customer. AFC will become the fuelcell of choice.
There are plenty of other developed out there but have they taken the time in R&D to ensure that the end user is getting ultimate value for money ? Why would you use PEM over a lower Capex lower Opex system developing power at an equivalent or greater power density ? I assume that if AFC really nail Alkamem then it would be no hardship to move into electrolysers as well.
Keep you chin up guys. AFC will have its day soon.
IMHO, there are many people on here who have actively been at least talking the share price down for weeks and quite possibly profiting one way or another from the drop back. As far as I am concerned, the relentless walking down of the share price today on low volumes of sells after the earlier strong buying suggests that these people are looking for another bite at the cherry.
The way that this sucks all the positivity out of such good news is very frustrating and I wonder when the SP will finally be allowed to recover. When this happens, all of a sudden there will be a flood of positive posts and ramping from the usual suspects alongside many new faces.
Well said bumble. This place is really tiresome of late.
You are wrong DW. I can't be bothered explaining why yet again.
It’s only as far as you want it to go.
Today’s announcement was not deemed price sensitive because it was non regulatory.
They didn’t have to announce it via the RNS system but they did. They are communicating more now than ever before.
Long way to go then cheekboy. Certainly on today's performance so far! Maybe DW has a point about there not being much substance in the RNS judging by the market reaction.
I’m fed up of it bumble. He’s dragging me and other’s down.
Garonne, 1 billion dollars:)
Arrogance and negative again. “ I was at wall st “ lol
So the solid cell will be ready the end of next year which means Alkamem must be ready and tested before this. So we have a date for the cell, when will the membrane be ready?
Have W H Ireland mentioned a shareprice?
Who do you think writes announcements made through the Regulatory News Service DW? I can absolutely guarantee that the firm's corporate advisers are very much involved.
All very positive and, hopefully, this will help to attract new investors to clear out some of the cobwebs from the last few weeks and to create a more stable investor base for the future. Add in the £1.91 current valuation from Zeus, which doesn't even factor in these new systems or AlkaMem, and there should be plenty of reasons for new investors to get onboard.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing.
The following is an update from WH Ireland in response to the RNS. I like the bit about attracting world class partners who will bear the capital costs (MPO take note):
WHI View: AFC is delivering on the aggressive guidance it set out in relation to the progress of its high density solid fuel cells. The Alkamem® product is also being advanced at an impressive pace in our view and we note the CEO’s comments, indicating the unique qualities of its alkaline technologies. For reference, AFC Energy’s technologies allows for low-grade, low-cost hydrogen to be used as a fuel. Combined, the unique attributes of AFC Energy’s technologies allow the company to attract best-in class industry partners with strong balance sheets to carry the bulk of the capital costs required to scale up production. We believe this strategy will have the effect of maximising shareholder returns. We note that both the Alkamem® and the HydroX-Cell(S) will open up new and substantial markets for AFC Energy going forward.
