Anybody that thinks chippy complaining about the companies lack of updates on this board was an attempt or had anything to do with lowering the sp needs their head testing......one person having a go about lack of comms and he is being accused of manipulation.....do me a favour!
Actually, what lowers the sp is when the market expects updates from the company and they dont come.
Any idea why the price hardly moved on todays update....i will tell you why, the market have given this company a market cap of 4-500m and it expects to start seeing evidence of revenue.
This past weeks drop i could see coming 3 or 4 weeks ago and without further news i would be worried about 4 weeks from now. Unless there is a larger buyer in the background or you are producing news that will entice new money...thats the way aim works.
Its up to the company to produce orders or news that sustains or enhances thier mc.
Bumble, agree. Over and out.
From 20:39 post, no not AFC but frustration nonetheless. Everybody has their triggers, greed and self congratulatory manner the BOd need retention freebies is mine. I haven’t critiqued the tech.
If said algo trader has gone to the trouble to set up the process, I’m sure he/she has no idea who I am.
Sector attack on rising price of oil and oil stocks as in earlier this year. And management practises leave shareholders vulnerable. Forums are just a place for PIs to discuss, agree or disagree.
As I said, I won’t post anymore unless I’m mentioned in a derogatory manner and then only to shareholders who I have some respect for.
Only posting as my name mentioned.
Do you really think I have the share volume and IT backup to set up a algo attack like the one we observed with trades autoexecuted every minute bb2?
We all throw our toys out of the Prem sometimes, that’s why your bb2...
I’ll make no comment on the Swiss h2 charger with ABB but “made in Switzerland “....
It does seem hard to believe that activity in these forums, even if coordinated by a team, could make a material difference to the SP.
That said.... How else can we explain the fleeting accounts that bash or promote a stock without any substantive reasoning then disappear just as quickly?
It is dubious?!
They have disappeared for the most part of today funnily enough:)
Do not trust anything on here 100%. This weeks ramblings have been entertaining. Shocking, some of it.
In that case Bumble B, Chippyjo owes me about fifty thousand quid.
Where do i send the invoice??
While I hate the constant de-ramping from some, what evidence do you have that a few d**ks on here are bringing the share price down. Just because it has dropped, doesn’t mean it’s anything to do a small LSE forum??
Of course posts on here can affect the SP. No, not by one person posting one post but by people posting in packs and then also trading in packs behind the scenes. With low volumes of trades it is very easy to manipulate the SP in the short-term. If it wasn't, they wouldn't do it! The good news is that they can be wiped out by unexpected news or large volume days...
If people don't think that Their postings affect the share price why do some people seem to spend all their time knocking a share they "own"
Fair enough....i have my in and outs with afc i must admit.
Bloody love the company but scarred from times past so every now and then throw a wobbler but not a trader......just dont like to see the sp fall due to lack of news:)
Who are you refering to bumble?......i believe it was chippy and myself who were negative the last couple of days.
The double act....would it be us or others?
I've never liked posts along this kind of line.
Regardless of how long you've been invested in company, it doesn't give you that superior right over someone who has been trading for 1 day say. It also doesn't mean you know better.
This is an open forum where people get to voice their opinion and more than likely, as in life, people are not going to agree, but this doesn't give anyone the right to shut them down and accuse them of all sorts (not saying you are the accuser in this instance). How boring would the world be if we all agreed on something eh?
Just because someone is being negative towards AFC doesn't mean they don't believe in it, they just want them to do the best they can. The investor may have certain skills taken from the day job on a better way of doing something. There is always a better way something can be done, but doesn't mean they want to make money in 2 minutes.
over and out.
I think some perspective is required here. On the one hand I am a long term holder since 2007 launch so clearly I have patience and i take the long term view. I also agree that when new traders suddenly appear and start ranting because they didnt quadruple thrir money in the 3 months they'be ben invested I want to cuff them round the ear and tell them to grow up. Equally though when I hear a new trader who's only been invested a year or two lecturing people on patience i want to cuffe them around the ear too and explain that AFC has gone through several period of lengthy silence punctuated by sudden promising technical and commercial advances that promise a breakthrough into a solis commercial phase that never quite materialises. So could I suggest that unless you've been in this 10 years or more you refrain from either nagging about when the big bucks or coming in or from pontificating and philosphising about the long term view!
Deaspite some profitible trades (thanks AFC). This has neverthless been a very frustrating and often disappointing decade and a half and we are currently only a little over twice the launch price. So Johnny come lately gurus of both camps - give it a rest!
