Muscorum... There is that possibility but we know the roadshow was deemed a success and we have a system being CE approved ....so i would be surprised if there are any significant design changes to the system that has been demonstrated....with the NDAs now cleared from the agreements with Acciona and Exteme E ...i see no reason why we cannot have a more regular update as to the progress of those systems ....
The new tooling was mentioned in the July 2019 half-year report RNS ...." Appointment of Innomech for new stack compression tooling (expected delivery in Sept. 2019 )" i do not recall that delivery being confirmed ....there has been plenty of discussion to see it in action though.
From memory as I don’t take any notes, when I asked about the robot mods last December Bond said the changes were for the compression stack not the robot.
Maybe BB had notes about this question.
Actually I’d rather a contracted manufacturer partner who has their own facility meaning we don’t have to build up our own.
Fixed price contract, parts supplied by partners and an easily accountable profit per unit.
Keep the overheads to a minimum...
Now that would get things moving Seance. Here's hoping!
Maybe the first news we will get is of a factory that they will be leasing for the multitude of build outs
Let's face it, AFC will have to build much larger premises if they are to ramp up manufacturing of their products to meet demand just as, ITM are doing in Sheffield. To do this they need a big player partner without which I don't think they can progress to full commercialisation. £31 million is not enough to achieve this goal.
DW... If you remember we discussed the delivery to Acciona a few weeks ago ....it has to fit in with the plans on site for Acciona to accept the system ....that being early 2021.
They would be incoming invoices for AFC to pay
The worrying bit is the wording “to meet projected customer demand” on the basis they have no orders what does it mean.
What is the projected demand, why not say, I bet they have no clue it’s finger in the air stuff.
They have none to share DJ79.
They have mentioned quite clearly what they're going to do with the money right?
''In particular, the proceeds of the Fundraising will facilitate:
· the multiple manufacture of new H-PowerTM fuel cell systems capable of deployment in the next 12-24 months to meet projected customer demand - combined 20kW and 160kW units are expected to be built, including the 160kW H-PowerTM system for trialling by ACCIONA in 2021;
· the employment of new manufacturing, product engineers and commercial staff in support of the deployment of H-PowerTM systems into the Company's key target markets (electric vehicles and construction);
· the development and implementation of its strategy for scale up of manufacturing and system assembly;
· an acceleration in the development of the Company's AlkaMemTM anion exchange membrane with scale up of manufacture and validation testing pre commercial deployment; and
· the delivery of solid-state membrane fuel cell system (HydroX-Cell(S)TM) for published target release date in 2022 which the Directors expect will open new markets.
In addition, the Fundraising will also support and finance the warranties required in connection with systems deployed into commercial applications.''
What do you expect them to do? Share the invoices?
My heads still spinning as to how they came to a 31 million raise and that we haven't a clue as to what we are doing with it? It's a proper weird number with no news whatsoever?
