Thanks, I will take a look
Seance, it’s generally determined by case law but the link gives a brief description but you need to download the FCA guidance materiel for disclosure of price sensitive info.
https://www.pinsentmasons.com/out-law/guides/disclosure-of-price-sensitive-information--fsa-rules
Where on earth did you get than from Chippyjo? I've never heard of that?
Daz it’s only an issue of price sensitivity if the share price it likely to shift 10%+
As the deal is already in the public domain you could argue it’s priced in already.
Sharesport it's an assumption based on the fact that AFC have to release an RNS when they have received the order and up front payment as it is price sensitive. If AFC have received the order and not told us then they are the ones misleading, it's that simple.
Again that is an assumption on your part Daz - please don't try to potentially mislead.
Thanks Klunk, I knew I'd seen that somewhere but couldn't remember where, so no order yet.
In the proactive video interview dated 15th July ....AB was asked about revenue from the Extreme E deal ....his answer was quite clear .... "we will not be disclosing that at the moment ....but we will be receiving in the next few weeks an upfront payment ....a six digit sum followed by a trailing series of payments during the race season " ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yERGG9oqgvY
I'm not sure that will be the case Daz. You can find a list of all the recent RNS' here: https://www.investegate.co.uk/Index.aspx?searchtype=-1&words=0. They do specify results over a period of time and results from one-off M&A activity, but I haven't seen any down payment come up
Sharesport, I would expect to see an RNS confirming we have a PO as a down payment paid would be price sensitive, we haven't had confirmation of this yet, if we have please show me where.
I'm sure AFC have commenced production of standard items but I wouldn't start work on any custom items for Extreme E that couldn't be used elsewhere until I had the PO.
Let me get this right Daz. AFC showcased their wares on National news, have millions in the bank, are to deliver for a series starting in Jan and you are assuming that no work is being commenced. You are even assuming that no PO has been raised.
DJ79, it's in the Extreme E RNS. We wouldn't normally start work until we see sight of the PO in case it never materializes (dependant on how the contract is worded), as a down payment is payable on order this suggests to me that AFC won't start spending money on this system until they get the PO either.
Interesting quote Daz. I missed that one from the Extreme E deal. Where did you find it?
And because there is no need for a fundraise we get silence as a result....
By that logic now is a good time to buy!
Problem is AB deliberately helps create these spikes when he wants a placing away impaling mugs like me in the process.
Hopefully we will get some news on the order from Extreme E soon & subsequent first payment, this should give a boost to the shareprice -
· Contract reflects an initial one year agreement with a down-payment payable upon order, and subsequent payments recognised when equipment is made available reflecting the unique nature of this showcase series.
Your logic is sound Heath. Maybe I need to stop looking at the SP so much! Hard thing to do though when one's paper loss is a constant irritant!
If you’re waiting for £1 it doesn’t matter which it is. I was more comfortable at 5p as I had prepared for the worst. Now I’m all optimistic and impatient again.
I guess not Heath but I'd like to see us back towards the mid 20s whilst we wait for news. I feel a bit more comfortable there!
It’s down 1.6% Garonne - not time to panic quite yet.
Correction: "commoditised consumable"
And the normal down trend resumes. Shorters winning again. Part of the issue I have with AB is that before during and after the roadshow he never intimated that orders would take months and that that the product isn't a "commodities consumable" for which a simple "buy" applies as he proffered in the interim report. He also asked us therein to be mindful of a reasonable time line before sales but didn't say what that might be. This sounds like an excuse to me for the lack of news on proper sales or even progress towards said sales and it's starting to concern me. The smoke and mirrors routine continues unabated.
