I’ll give everyone a chance, but generally only one. I remember folks on here being ok with me, but I didn’t ask any questions and had already bought in having spent six months thinking about it. I’ve never criticised the company though as I don’t see any need to.
Folks - don't forget Nuri's earlier comments since they show what he is all about. "it won't make profit for years and its share price will get diluted every year probably for the next ten years (if its around - which I doubt!)." Deramping troll!
Then take your money and invest it elsewhere.
There are some seasoned investors here and know your game . There will also be new investors who have bought at a higher price than the current levels and your posts will make them anxious.
It’s despicable behaviour from unsavoury characters.
Some very agressive people. I've learned the hard way and have made a lot of money in the last year. Certainly not a troll but the comments speak very much to your own pedigree than anyone else.
Nuri why have you bothered posting here? You’re clearly here with an agenda and haven’t done any research so stop wasting people’s time. I didn’t bother reading all your posts as they were useless and boring. Oh, and don’t bother answering my question. All the best :)
Folks. This is an old trick, practiced by deceitful characters, who fill the BB with anxiety and concerns, all of which dominates the underlying issues and potential of AFC. Nuri has no intention of investing in good faith, but a clear agenda of populating the posts with doubts and drivel that clouds the debate. Don't waste further energy on this deramping troll, who has probably taken out a spread bet and seeks to destroy value.
Well said sturm. These trolls need to be treated with the contempt that they deserve.
Ref nuri123a.... Scarpa50 how can you be so, in your own words, relatively pleasant to this excuse of a rat, when he/she just been made aware of valuations like Tesla and other Hydrogen company with big valuations, and his only point is try to put doubts in people's head... It's so very obvious he is thick as two plunks and he invest like our former dinosaur JR used to invest donkeys years ago in stock with dividents...
Nuri, if you’ve answered your own questions already then why continue. It’s called trolling...
Or if you really do want to invest and it’s too expensive for you then yet again, off you trot.
The shear volume of newly registered and first posters on the bb ****ging AFC off since the rise has been laughable.....almost
Yellow rat nuri(logically). insane will be next....
“Like buying a pub for £2 million when its valued at 200k assets...”
LOL! Well in which case, The AFC Arms are brewing a patented beer in their hanger out the back with a recipe involving ammonia, which you might think stinks of $h1te but to holders and the (minimally) well researched is looking like it’s going to be a rosy brew indeed. Enjoy your BP dividends.
nuri123a, it’s closer to 60 million in cash but no-one is forcing you. If you don’t like what you see then that’s ok. All stock of this nature comes with an inflated price tag to some degree so you’ve a choice:
1. Buy now.
2. Wait and see if the price dips to a level you see as reasonable.
Two very good posts there - sensible defensible points. I do want to invest in hydrogen - I've never shorted a share in my life and don't do leverage. The annual report for AFC looks promising.... just want to fully understand all of these companies. But a valuation of a third of a billion with a balance sheet of 40 million ish.... I just can't see why someone would buy them... like buying a pub for £2 million when its valued at 200k assets. Can see justification for 100% premium in this market just not 1000%.
Tesla predicated on their last quarterly earnings is trading at circa 330 x earnings. It’s also barely made a profit over the years (just started too more recently).
This is the world of tech and forward looking companies whereby they are valued on future earnings and potential. Some justify this and others simply don’t. I think Tesla is way overvalued and would not touch it with a barge pole as all other car manufacturers are developing EVs and will take market share).
AFC at £390m is reasonably priced vs many other hydrogen companies many of which (especially in the US) are 70% down from their highs in Feb.
If you think this company can’t reach its potential then don’t buy and go and buy a boring defensive consumer staple like Unilever or a cyclical like Barclays which have steady cash flows and dividends.
I like the risk reward here, albeit there are of course no guarantees.
GLA and DYOR
nuri123a,
We have money in the bank and hiring staff in anticipation of orders. Partnerships with significant leaders in their field. Low cash burn, although this will increase. Charging the Extreme E series cars.
On the downside; we’re awaiting a significant order. Please note: We are all acutely aware of this last point. Buy, don’t buy, your choice but please don’t plague the bb if it’s not an investment you’re interested in. There you go, I’ve been relatively pleasant.
nuri123a. We all know your game, be it driven by a large spread bet, or some competitor interest. We don't need to defend AFC to you and, to be frank, we'd rather spend time debating interesting points than talk asset values to a very dubious newcomer, who has immediately picked up from the our exiting friend, RugRat. As you correctly pointed out, there are £60m+ recent reasons to take AFC very seriously. Please feel free to invest elsewhere, for all our sakes - I hear Bitcoin is cheaper now!
nuri123a.... and now that we think you are a rat, why don't you get the drift that you are not welcomed here with your theories about companies you are not invested in, you seam to be so determined to post about other companies which you are invested in, i don't give a rat arse about your investements, but please don't burge in here wondering about AFC valuation when it looks like you just cut and paste your posts and pipe dreams theories from company to company...
chippyo... I defend the companies I invest in. The exception being micro focus - but even that company has immensely better prospects than this. A share forum is where people come for information and to share thoughts to shareholders and prospective shareholders. No one has anything to add here except profanities - fair enough - you've confirmed what I thought at the outset - good job!
I say chippyjo..... All the perks of flying around... Lol:)
Yup, vermin on deck, set the traps.
Nuri, you only need to defend against an attack.
Be grown up, do. Your research and either take a position or not. It’s quite simple.
Why people go onto any forum and lambast when they clearly state they don’t hold that stock shows they they have another agenda. Which is unlikely to will friends on said BB.
Sturm, on my usual travels and avoiding Covid so far, hope your well.
Sunny and hot here so not complaining.
Waiter where’s that beer.....
Sturmtropper - my first message was an invitation for people to point out what I'm missing. Unfortunately, your tirade indicates you don't believe in AFC - because if you did, you would defend this company. Oh well... next you'll blame me for your poor decision. NAV of this company is a few pence - around 5 pence; its loss making; it won't make profit for years and its share price will get diluted every year probably for the next ten years (if its around - which I doubt!).
Hello chippyjo, hope you are having a good Sunday..... I usually let better posters them me deal with all the rats during the week.... but they now seam to be here even at weekends and pretend even to know my investement as well.... We are sailing(AFC of course)at the moment in waters with thousands of fragmented pieces of Polar cap melting icebergs(the rats... LOL) because of global warming, but AFC ain't the Titanic... We are the S Helena and sail all over the world with our new technology .... LOL :)
You were a bit more eloquent when we wrote the letter ))))
I didn’t realise it was you sturm
Of course my last post is meant for our new never posted before today in AFC... nuri 123a
As it happens i have time today to deal with another Warren Buffett look like idiot like yourself that just wants to put his nose were is not wanted, you could do like my cat if you really want because when it sleeps it curls up and put its nose up were the sun don't shine.... you seam to know all there is to know about investing and even pretend to know what my investement is..... You can ask chippyjoe to tell you if i am up or down on my investement and the reason he can tell you is because once we got together to write to AFC directors for explanations but we wanted proofs of being invested.... Stick with your dying dinosaur BP investement, because i think you must have really shut in your nappies for the last year or so, and let me worry about my investement because a d*** like you is to stuck up his own arse to possibly know all there is to know...
