Is that sad perv still posting here? I wondered which of my many filters it was.
Hate to think of him wasting his time, just a green message to me
Well, Peano Deano, you seem to know an awful lot about about " dribbling" . Maybe your tank is carrying too much beer as you age. . Frankly I don't have trouble on that score . Did you know that vintners in California have developed a rather tasty special white wine for Seniors which they've named Pinot More? Finally, since Harry Potter is currently very prominent through so many venues around the world, I should have thought that even a most unpleasant zit like yourself would have learned how to spell wizard correctly.. So just pee off!
“ But I didn't and I guess I'm somewhat bitter.”
Is this why they call you Dribbling Joe?

The Wizzard of Dribble, ha ha ha!
Keep the faith was tongue in cheek DJ. Maybe I should have said keep a stiff upper lip old chap!
What really matters is what we believe the true health and prospects, or otherwise, of the company rather than what PG says about it. You could argue that short term the SP doesn't matter, at least unless a fund raise is being considered - and there is no evidence of need for that. I do think Tavsan development and possibly the same in Cyprus will have an impact in the next 18 months or so. Timescales and development at Salinbas .... wouldn't like to put a timescale on that at all.
As for the divi, I'm personally not too fussed when it is paid because that's just timing. If its not in my bank accounts then its in the companys bank account of which I'm a shareholder. When it goes xd its likely to knock the SP anyway.
Hope you are keeping well, I'm off to kip.
Keep the faith, John? When Panmure Gordon have just dropped us in the fertilizer! Yet another reason why I don't take UK critics and tipsters seriously.
So what have we now got 100% of, 50% of and 23.5% of.. What happens to possible dividends if it takes years to get around to actually producing and earning at Salinbas.. In a parallel universe Sandstorm bought Mariana and shareholders should now be smiling over Hod Maden. The simple fact is Sandstorm shares have dived about 35% in the last 12 months.
Sure...we were tempted somewhat by a special dividend but I didn't realize it was going to be spread over 3 years...I thought it would be " on the nose" . Let's face it...we should have forgot about dividend (and perhaps reduction of our SP thereto) and got out when the shares reached 6 pence. At that point it was over my best target anyway. But I didn't and I guess I'm somewhat bitter.
Other than that it's all about " keeping the faith" which is not easy at the moment with all the world disturbances. China, Russia and political instability in USA. Lots of jobs...no workers and now Omicron and the media milking it all. Like I've said - this year was a roller coaster and I guess it could be Christman 2023 at least and even 2024 before all Dr K's new interests start to bring in some bacon our way. " Nuff said and I'll stop my rant (right now with only one share in my portfolio...a lithid....with a plus sign ijust three weeks before Christmas.
Nice to see ya both back here, LoB and C & B. Soccer ain't my National Sport (although our American Gals have done well as I am sure you have noted. I think it was around 1948 that I personally viewed the FA Cup being held high through the roof panel of a chartered coach while the sidewalks were lined with cheering crowds. ( I had just flown in from Brussels to stay with my aunt in Stretford.). However - for this season - my money's on Liverpool! (lol).
Poor Burnley. Think they will be struggling this year.
Hi LoB,
Not the result we wanted, but still enjoyed the weekend apart from the hike up all the stairs to the top of that stand where the away fans section is. I did ask for the hubble telescope but it wasn't available, the ref was using it.
So, back to AAU, another trip to the trough for one of directors, but if it was my company I'd be doing the same thing. Broker note was poor, but still plenty of news still to come next year also, maybe its a buying opportunity . I hope you're right about Christmas 2023, just hope I get there. ha ha
Keep the faith, LoB, keep the faith.
Think that applies to both Clarets and AAU.
As for AAU, the PG note was, to say the least, disappointing. But long term it should not effect the success or failure of the company. There should be quite a lot of news plus 2 dividends over the next 18 months/ 2 years. Hopefully by Christmas 2023 we should all feel a bit more comfortable!
I made that trip to Newcastle just before the lockdown in 2020. You'll need the Hubble telescope, C&B, to see the game with any clarity, given where they put the away fans.
As for AAU I almost - but not quite - give up. I just can't see who the sellers would be given the (continual good) news here, nor can I understand PG note. What am I missing?
Anyhow, I hope the trek to Geordieland has been worth it for Clarets everywhere...
Hi Van
its no secret that I wasn't a fan myself but not going on about it again. The point is that the terms of the new JV structure affecting Turkish assets were known about months and months before the February PG note. They cannot have ignored the reduction to 23.5% in that February note irrespective about what they say in the commentary. To have ignored that asset reduction in February would have been professionally negligent. So I cannot reconcile this c.25% drop in target price and the AAU BOD should be asking questions of their broker (or get rid)
I have to say I agree with your well expressed comments John.
This is what I just posted on ADVFN which is along the same lines.
"A 23% drop in the target price by the House Broker makes you ask whose side are they on. I’ve always tried to defend them but I’m shocked by this apparent kick in the teeth for Kerim and the Co. They seem to be saying the Transaction, as it was known, was capital dilutive, notwithstanding all the very positive announcements made since their last Note. I have to say I agree with the sentiment and the questions asked, namely what the F are we paying for?"
Good weekend Claret. Hope they win
Ah well, another week, more good news and we end up red again.
Not to worry, I've got to drive to Newcastle and spend an afternoon watching the Clarets, (should be fun)
Have good weekend everyone.
Ever thought of contacting PG and asking them that question?
Mind you it is Friday and you may be busy with other pleasures later?
Ok, so the PG note is on the website, I'd not noticed it.
Their target price since February is down from 6.98p to 5.35p. Now that earlier February note coincided with the completion of the Ozaltin deal, so the wisdom (or otherwise) of that deal on the target price can be discounted.
Since then there has been a divi of 0.35p paid, plus costs. lets go wild and call that .5p to keep the numbers easy. So back of the envelope stuff that would reduce PGs target price to 6.5p due to the reduction in Net Assets.
Since then good drillings, the second ball mill online, almost nailed on Life of Mine extensions, much better than expected progress at Cyprus - all of which are highlighted as plus points in PGs note. Unlike the slight rise in PoG, which has also occurred.
So how is a reduction in target price justified? This is AAUs broker! With friends like that who needs enemies?
