Dazzle1000 grandson carried out very much Rolex research, believes that they are moving to bring Tudor to the forefront of sales, from high street shops, and the Rolex range will be sold from Rolex owned boutique shops.
Time will tell.

I think Tissot reissued the old battery quartz as a new mechanical automatic 80 hours with retro 70 vibe which i like as i remember my uncles having watches late 70’s..I’m also looking at Tudor.
@swify 17:37pm
Thanks for that i remember reading that George Daniels invented the co-axial that Omega used in their watches, shame he didn’t patent it for his own designs to keep his British legacy going… ALL EYES on OZ tonight then see if they buy up more after the USA or sell some for profit. Huge volumes today so could this be the start of something good?

Dazzle
Dazzle 100 my its a dead ringer, for my old constellation, which ain't a proper watch being battery powered.
I would have recommended a Omega divers that my grandson has purchased, but we are talking £4k and he questions still if it's better than the Rolex. Hotukdeals listed a few weeks ago a Omega divers £4k retail £5.4k probably none left.

look at an Omega auto 300 seamaster chronomaster. superb watch. you can pick up a decent vintage for about 1500
Hey Dazzle..let's see what the next few weeks brings and then organise a drink at the Globe...be well and let's pray that our patience ( infinite) will pay off....
@rfarfa 16:29pm
Thanks for the feed back interesting to know and point of view. What other watches would you consider to be of value and just as well made as rolex..? One watch that i was looking at wearing everyday and not worried about bashing was the tissot prx power attic 80 https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-gb/t1374071104100.html
Dazzle1000
Don't fall into the Rolex marketing trap. How is it possible for a company producing up to 1 million watches per year be exclusive????
Also it's not what you know but who you know to get one, well one worth owning.
42% mark up for subs, 50% + for top end.
Worn the tee-shirt paid £ 8k for up opened box for present and from retail outlet.
Rolex know full well what's going on but it suits their marketing agenda.
@mickey masters
Is it true your not building a runway now mickey, but a new EVTOL electric flying vehicle mini airport ;-) with solar power and vertical farming …
@mr martini 12:28
That is a fantastic idea mr martini. Would be great for the globe trotters to meet and greet and have a luncheon and drinks to catch up and chat..i assume some of you will be getting fitted for your ordered Rolex’s ;-) i will defo be up for that ..
Like i said ages ago i would be buying back in/keeping a core holding around this time. Kudos to those who got in earlier around 1.1 to 1.3p
best of luck dazzle
I'm back in too.
I’m back in . I just can’t stay away can I ?
Mickey I'm a member of your club! But hoping for the retirement for my future generations, all majors started as penny shares.
Hey Mickey, still here too....so exhausted with the years of waiting...but too stubborn to give up...Hope you're well...I miss our Globe meetings...would be good to all meet up there again when the good news happens...yes, I still believe...
