it'll tank now.lol
commodities?
we need china, the biggest user of the sector
to unlockdown and bottom out
you can see this,on this chart, chinas downtrend
https://tradingeconomics.com/china/stock-market
theoretically,that should be the bottom....mining sector wise..imo
ufo?..and yeah,itslooking very tempting.
Bought UFO @ 64 and GGP @ 12.9. Should be safe longer term but expect if commodities show any signs of life then a trade comes into play. Worth noting GGP gold price is AUD and therefore greater margin :-)

and still no signs,of the end of the oil supply squeeze
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Russias-Oil-Output-Is-Plummeting-And-It-May-Never-Recover.html
lows?...burberry and aml are still trending lower,on china lockdowns, slowing sales
but at some point, that's gotta change.
Too early Troajan? Looking at Melrose and L & G. Headed for covid time lows. So maybe wait and see. Could be some great bargains
bojo
in general, when the main markets drop, big time, like we're seeing in recent weeks
no sector is safe m8.
and there's no sector rotation either.
i wonder how long, this will all last?
angioprime
a close shave then.lol.
here's a top guy,ex goldmans economist,on the state of the markets atm
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2022/05/09/if-inflation-data-starts-to-turn-that-will-give-us-a-big-bounce-in-the-markets-says-jim-oneill.html
other than trading or cash.....i'd play it safe, till inflation peaks....but when;s that?
Have slipped over the last month
Silver 20%
Gold less so
UFO (silver) has dropped into my by zone, coincidentally by 20%…?
Even if the market drops or crashes I believe commodities will show strength so my money is headed to UFO, GGP and HZM which are a lot cheaper than last month.
hi xviolet/ troajan,i dipped my toe for hr or so,then had to go out so sold.lucky i did.At least softened the blow, on my down shares elsewhere.
As troajan points out may be some hope for the ones trapped .gla
May comp
PXEN
EOG
Radisson Mining Resources
Cheers T
btw - quick read on EOG...
https://masterinvestor.co.uk/equities/two-very-interesting-oil-stocks-getting-interested-eog-and-i3e/
xviolet
it still as a fighting chance, although slim
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/981630/mccoll-s-on-brink-as-morrisons-deal-falters-981630.html
eog?....the 25% stake in i3e's drill should be the mover
not surewhen the drills due, somewhere around summer time....if no delays
but delays are the norm, just lately
on GAS subject...has anyone researched EOG?
Ha! I was in there. Made a few quid but stupid enough to leave a bit behind!
Gotta learn to get out quick from dodgy comps.....been building up a stake in Arkle and followed John into PXEN - the latter interesting as they've got GAS - and gas is kind of a big. At the moment.
would have been a nice earner today for the strong,One of the few recently.
1509 you have my sympathies as HL really are a shower of s hit. I had massive problems with them moving stocks from them to IG when they stopped doing Bed & ISA.
Anyway, I am unchanged
ARCM
SAV
TERN.
Am hoping for Arc to soar this month. GLA.
My picks are
Imm
Iqai
Dnl
Afternoon
Just watching the snooker Trump vs Williams best of 33 frames.
No spoilers but it is quite a match
I am being very boring - waiting for copl and moving money from trading account to isa.
HL let me down as the money on the settlement date came in after 4.30 so could not transfer the money to my isa and buy back in
My picks will be the same as last time.
A few warrants converted today. No one seems very interested. Drill results due May. Linked to Michael Gentile - will be adding a few tomorrow.
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/AGL/preliminary-results/15428756
Angle results tomorrow and it has dropped 20p over last weeks. Added more just in case but held some cash incase it drops lower. Ovarian study news due…
Anyone in/watching PAT. Anyone like their grades etc? Recent placing (with Novum on-board, who some dislike for forwards selling) - but sp close to placing price. And fundraise completed (they say) for drilling. And sp quite low. Assume I should wait till placing shares are actually released to AIM on 9th May - or wait for sp to sink below placing price?
glen/hzm?
theyve also done a similar deal with adt1....also in the mine build stage, but silver
I think there will be a bit of resistance at 10p so that will be a target for some holders to take some off the table. It will be interesting to see if Glencore or any other II’s take an increased stake in the months ahead.
News on the mine construction at Araguaia as we are moving into the dry season plus news on the DFS for Vermelho might be the drivers in the near future.
