"A clear NO would have forced the Russian thug to bid higher"..... okey dokey
After five years of investment here I’ve thrown in the towel. I only had a million left. However over time I’m at a small loss.
I just see better opportunities elsewhere.
Good luck to you all whatever you decide.
No mate i wasnt at that meeting, i remember going to Sandown races on the Saturday with my mates and paying for the entire day and not backing a winner all day :-)
There was a LTH holder on here who sold out in the teens then just came back trolling everyone because he sold out too early.
I know Sasa and a few others on the ii board who as far as i can remember didnt sell up and are still here.
The £1 was just a joke prediction on basically nothing.
I see people crying now all over the board.
A clear NO would have forced the Russian thug to bid higher, but this simple rule as old as human kind was not understood on this board.
You did exactly what RY asked you to do and now you cry crocodile tears.
Puppets
jez were you the one at the meeting who bought everyone a round of drinks saying had sold at 42? I remember that. In the days of 42p it was expected to go to £1 plus. none of us couldundestand why the board werent buying loads of shares with their own money.
Its vital to get a definitive answer to divi being income or capital for shareholders. ir dont know, it needs a clear rns.
@gwm i on the other hand bought this share at 3p and sold at 42p, i sold some in the teens, 20s, 30s and finallly my largest tranche at 42p. When i sold at 42p i had some so called investors on this board call me a mug a weak holder etc etc..
Pretty ironic really.
It only went to 44p on the news of the "4th Licence" and sadly not much else. IMO This was always going to be sold and unfortunately due to the situation in Russia not for what we believe the true value to be.
Well Robin Young, from your name being mentioned in a RNS on 15th March 2006 to the 35 million Dollar sale of Kun Manie on 24th August 2022.How proud you must be to have spent, borrowed, given away in shares and received in salaries on behalf of AMC.To end up here.
On top of that you’re gonna get away with it.
How dumb are we?

Long-term holder here who like many others feels betrayed by RY and his mates. All the optimistic talk of £1 parties now feels laughably misplaced because it turned out the BoD were good at drilling and useless at executing a strategy to sell what they’d found.
To have a $35 billion asset of metals the world badly needs and can’t find enough of, and to sell it for $35 million is staggering incompetence. The war is irrelevant here - it’s just the opportunity for the mugging to take place. RY and co. had years before then to do a good deal and move on but they were incapable of negotiating with anyone - it was all just naive “right time, right place, right product” fluff.
AMC’s biggest weakness was never having a Russian on the board to navigate the environment. Well they’ve got one now.
Lesson bitterly learned. About all I have to thank RY for after 12 years of bs. Good luck to all holders who should have done much better from this share.
gaz long termers like myself bought this share from 40p to 3p..my average is 12p.
Obviously this results in a capital loss.
I just hope that amc puts out a CLEAR rns confirming this special dividend can be treated as capital return not dividend income taxed at 40pc outside an isa.
ry needs another project now in order to continue his pay.
We all feel robbed but what the hell
RY is set up for the rest o his life and that's all he gives a s h i t about.
Woo Hoo
After waiting for positive news every day for 18 months, buying after the announcement on January 25th. I feel like I've been taken to the cleaners. RY, I'll remember your name. You may be sure that I'll never forget,
Feel robbed too...but nothing compares with what the Russians are doing in Ukraine!!
As soon a the Divi is paid any remaining shares i have will be sold, wouldn't want to have RY managing anything for me ever again lesson learned ill be sure to watch out in case the plonker pops up elsewhere.
I doubt the Russians will ever do anything with it
You have witnessed the great nickel robbery, crime of the century, by Russian thugs.
R.I.P Amur minerals, shame on you RY.
So long guys and good luck.
Joe Bass signing out.
Thats all i can say right now !!!!
Would imagine there are many orders to sell above the current SP, suspect many would take 1.6-1.8p now and not risk the wait for the dividend. That's why the price is where it is. One Putins boys have given the thumbs up, which could be anytime from now, then I would expect the SP to get well above 1.8p, probably in the 2.1 to 2.4p area.
Surprised at the low turn out this time, wonder where the other 1 billion shares are that didn't vote - both times. I know some have held for almost 15 years but there can't be that many in deceased holders hands - can there?
Rosscorp
maybe so, but I think the market wants to see firm confirmation, an RNS of approval should see a steady rise, I agree.
Blackrhino1
I don't expect to see it, but if the BoD were to purchase shares with their dividend payouts, some have already alluded to it already some performance Vs reward structure on the next venture. A clear Project plan................
Shadowless
...I'd like into think that is already baked into this deal for the $35mill.
Quite surprised to see the share price stay steady after the YES vote was passed.
I suppose the final rise will be on RNS of approval.
An overwhelming support for the deal then, which I think is the right result.
Quite interesting that the total number of votes cast this time (317m) was very similar to the number cast for the rejected deal (311m). Incidentally they messed up the % of available rights calculation (should be 22.78%).
Still I would have thought this offer would have stimulated more shareholder participation…
Never has been a correlation between this share price and the price of nickel. Not sure what else this BoD could do to convince the shareholders that they are capable of delivering added value (or that they would keep them informed whilst doing it).

Agreed, there could be a chance that the RF reduce the sale price between the two parties, look at the Kinross deal
April 05: Sale of Kinross Russian asset for $680m agreed.
June 15: Sale completed for $340m (https://www.globenewswire.com/en/news-release/2022/06/15/2463020/0/en/Kinross-completes-sale-of-Russian-assets.html)
On another note:
Took the RF just over a month to approve the deal, so maybe Octoberish to complete the transaction and have money in the bank?
1 share = 1 vote so share holder with with 1000 shares has 1000 votes
Crikey Brian, you've outdone yourself!
